In the fast food world there are burger joints and then there's Whataburger. Whataburger is one of my favorite fast-food chains, but unfortunately there aren't any in my area. Because of this I try and make them my go-to unhealthy road food option when traveling. The double-meat whataburger is massive. Loaded with fat and calories, it raises your cholesterol and helps you make those long drives more easily. The fries are very good, but the ketchup really good. The ketchup comes in flat bottomed containers which are perfect for dipping. The fries paired with the ketchup are the best fast-food combination of all the big named chains. This location is convenient to the highway. Service was good considering the volume of traffic early in the morning. good news is that this location is also open at 2 a.m. when the bars closed. The ordering line is more lively, but the food is still great. read more

What a burger. It's gotta deserve a 4/5 based on the fact it's 24/7 and tastes pretty boss. Now I know what your thinking seems like a simple thing. But there is more. They got bigger cups than most fast food places. But why 4/5? Well if you've been drunk enough to turn doorways to tunnels you'd know. Breakfast taquitos man. Used to be my go to burger place, my whole life. Been off red meat for a while and cannot remember the last time I had a hamburger. So I stopped in tonight and got one to go. Ordered my usual... #2 with cheese, hold the pickles with mustard. Get home and open up my burger. Surprise..!! No lettuce, tomato and onions and the only thing on it was the pickles which I had asked them to hold. To top it off, the fries were ice cold, not fresh and hot. So disappointed with my first burger in months. Can't get good help nowadays I guess. Bottom line, my order sucked.!! read more

The only location in Mid-County and a waste of real estate. To put it mildly, this business lacks trained staff, decent management and general decency towards customer service. Breakfast used to be 24hrs but is now 11pm- 11am. Kid wanted pancakes for dinner so we load up and make a special trip to be rushed in ordering by a RUDE and tactless female on the speaker. I ordered a combo and 2 orders of pancakes with her response as WHUT? I repeated pan-cakes. This woman tells me "We don't sell pancakes!". I said "they are on your menu for $2.99". She rudely repeats herself and repeats the combo so we left. Ridiculous. BTW we had a great experience with Jack In The Box who serves breakfast 24hrs! read more

I think we happened to catch them on a day they were understaffed. The orders were backed up, but they were doing their best to stay friendly, cordial, and ensure everything was accurate. Things may have taken longer, but they stay Whataburger true to name and quality. read more

I usually go every morning to get food for my family. It is always the same. Even though it is a training location, their mistakes have become more frequent. I ordered 2 bacon and egg taquitos. When I got home, it was 2 sausage ones. It appeared that they have also been prepared rather than cook what I requested. I called them but got a nasty attitude. Another fine example of fast food these days. Answers the drive through with an attitude AND screws up the order. No straws for drinks. Ordered a whataburger with bacon, got a triple instead. Waited 10 minutes to get something I didn't order that was sloppily assembled. Hmm and fast food workers feel they need to be paid 15 an hour for minimum wage??? They don't care if they get your order right here. If I sucked this bad at my job, people would die. read more

Well I love Whataburger but this must be the worst one ever. Even worse than Hutchins. I walked in, only one there. The young lady behind the counter didn't say a word. We were just looking at each other. No hello, welcome to Whataburger, good morning.... Nothing. It's as if she has lost the ability to speak. I finally broke the ice with a good morning and she just looked at me. I was speaking English I think? wow! Good thing the food is great to make up for the horrible customer service. I mean terrible. The food is awesome but the lack of training and leadership on the employees is very notable. If you're willing to wait minimum of 25 minutes for you're meal. Well come over.
