It's Waffle House, not a Michelin Star restaurant. The service is fast, sometimes feisty. The food is quick, filling and tastes pretty damned good. I like an over-medium egg on top of my pecan waffle. And bottomless cups of coffee... Just eat up. read more

Went to waffle house to eat breakfast it was packed tried asking the customers that were sitting in chairs if they were waiting for a table. The employee behind the counter got ugly with us and stated having a fit we tried to explain to her we were asking if they were waiting on a table but she just rolled her eyes. The Waffle House on twin city hwy, is way better than the one on Jimmy Johnson Blvd. The server are friendly, the cooks are very nice . if they are not to busy. You can sit down. Immediately. But what I'm really writing about is how good the cook was, I'm sorry so don't know his name, he went home to get jumper cables to help us start our car. The food was good , service excellent. Nothing much to say other than this might have been the best Waffle House I have ever been to and it came at the most opportune time as we were in town to bury our matriarch. We ordered hash-browns, waffles, scrambled eggs and coffee. It was all hot and tasty. Additionally, the bathroom was clean which is always appreciated. The service was quick and friendly. Can't believe I'm reviewing Waffle House but this one in particular is awful. The food was great (cheap as heck, badass hash browns, waffles and all that junk) but my server was extremely rude. I asked if I could substitute extra hash browns instead of a meat (on the All Star Breakfast platter thing or whatever) and she literally looked at me like I was crazy and said "HELL NO!" Like what?? Couldn't get the table cleaned after asking. I had to ask the cook to turn the so very loud music down to place my order. It is a shame that a costumer can't even enjoy morning breakfast because of the LOUD music much less the waitresses giving the order to the cooks. Very disappointed there isn't someone working there in control of outrageous conditions. I felt like I was in a sleazy night club or cheap bar. I give it a two star instead of one only because there are a few good staff that make me love the place. I give the low rating because if those staff are not there the visit is completely horrible. I call on my way from work to pick up food for my pregnant wife and get put on hold for 20 min because they are "busy". I have been told to call back because the cook and waitress are out smoking. They make the whole visit a joke. Like I said there are a couple that know my name and are the best, love talking with these few people, but if I knew when they werent there i wouldnt go. read more

I was at the Waffle House around 3:30 on a Sunday and the chief was being rude to the other employees and I also saw some very nasty food violations! She was going from raw meat to the toast with her bare hands!!!!! I only saw this after I ate and I went to the bathroom to throw up! That is so disgusting! Where are the gloves? It's so unsanitary I also saw another employee "wash" and container that I believe had vegetables in it but when he went to put this container up I saw that there was still stuff on the container! I k ow this is just a Waffle House and not everyone expects the best when they go there but atleast try to be clean and sanitary! People are paying and eating this food idc how much you hate your job! If you don't like it quit but don't make people sick by being unsanitary!!! DISGUSTED!!!! read more

I eat here quite regularly, at least every week. Service is sometimes a little slow but it's worth getting food freshly prepared for you. The staff is friendly always friendly and helpful and will assist in making your order just to your liking. read more
