Terrible service. We came at 3 am so it was super late but it shouldn't have been this bad. We went to drive through and they made us wait twice without explanation and without even ordering yet. Got no receipt, didn't have medium drink so I had to pay extra for large, lady forgot my order and people in back of us at the drive thru got their order before us, I asked for ketchup and the lady just didn't reply and left. This location is AMAZING!!! Julie, the operating partner, had a huge order to fill for our school event. We had 27 boxes of the 10 pack of burgers for a massive district student competition. We had around 300 people to feed and it was still hot when delivered. They weather was horrible. It was the worst downpour and flooding Houston has had in a while. Julie was in constant contact and did an amazing job delivering all our food to this massive event. She was so sweet to work with too. Don't bother coming here. They always mess up your order. Charge you for what you order, but never give it to you. They have this new thing where they go to you fin drive thru like chick fil a. They had me pull up, but no one took my order. I was there for 10 mins until I told them something. I arrived around 10:20 to get breakfast for my family. They have a terrible 2 lane setup, if you're in the right lane, expect several cars to go ahead of you that got there after you. It's always one thing after another here. The one thing that never fails, is the fact that I've have never ever had fresh fries from this location. Todays fries were fried way earlier and then just sitting out and then possibly reconstituted (refried to keep them warm) and then just sat there until they ended up in my order. I created an account just to shit on this location. Absolutely atrocious service. Waited 30+ minutes before we even ordered in the drive-thru, didn't order. Tried to ordee in the lobby but it's "closed", saw 2 people in there waiting on orders in the drive thru that were never even made. Saw 2 employees just sitting on their phones through the window when driving around to leave. Headed to work at my overnight shift, I wish they could do the same so I could actually eat beforehand. This is the closest location to my house but I won't be back. My experience here may as well be a joke because no one at this place took their job seriously. The attitude of the girl who took my order was palpable- it felt like I was intruding her very existence with the deadpan stare she gave me the whole time. Didn't realize lobotomies were still a thing. Anyway, after I made my ridiculously inconvenient order of chicken strips and grabbed my order number placard (that was shoved toward me with the attitude of a disgusted toddler who didn't want their broccoli) I made my way over to the crowded lobby to wait. I figured it would take a while to get my food given how busy the restaurant was. No worries- it's a Saturday night at one of the few fast food places that are still open near me, I can wait a little. So I waited. And waited. Then waited some more. I made sure to pay extra close attention to the order numbers as they were being whispered carelessly into the din of a fully packed restaurant. After twenty minutes of waiting, I decided to move closer to the counter and contemplated buying a hearing aid at the age of twenty-seven because surely these people weren't just mumbling out order numbers. Spoiler alert: they were. Finally, a whole thirty minutes later an employee shuffles over to my table with my food- my long awaited chicken strips! My long awaited... cold chicken strips. I was devastated. Distraught. Stabbed in the back by one of my favorite fast food places. I packed my stuff up, threw my dignity and self worth in the garbage (where I should have thrown my chicken strips) and walked out. I could have spoken to a manager, but given the absolute carelessness and shitty customer service, I have every right to believe the crappiness of this particular Whataburger is perpetuated by poor management who just doesn't give a damn. First of all, the food was great! But the drive-thru cashier was horrible. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was placing my order and simply asked to add BBQ sauce to my burger and she kept saying that they can only add it on the side. After my third time asking, someone else came on the intercom and said they can add it with no problem. My husband said it was the best patty melt he's ever had and trust me we've been to quite a few Whataburger restaurants.
