I was craving for burger the other day. I normally don't eat beef. But after the gym I didn't just crave for a burger, I crave for Whataburger. I ordered the original with everything on it. This loaded burger was so delicious, maybe because I was hungry or haven't had beef for a long while. Service was pretty good with minimal glitches, considering the busy lunchtime. There were more employees than customers inside of the restaurant. Employees seemed to know most of customers walked in. This was my second time eating there. My previous visit was when they first opened. So, I don't expect them to know me. The interior is uniformly orange like every other Whataburger restaurant. You know, I like orange. I paid special attention to the cleanliness. They're much better than most fast-food restaurants in this area. Kudos to the management. read more

Note: I'm a fan of Whataburger and the chain so my 5 star is biased. This location is near Houston Christian University so it can get busy at strange times so be aware of that fact. The food was tasty, fries were hot and the soda mix was in point (carbonization you know that fizziness, syrup was right and ice were oval shaped tubes). This location is clean inside and out. The bathroom was clean too. Parking lot is large however, I bet after a football game it could get crazy in there. read more

ordered the #1 whataburger w/ cheese combo in drive thru. now why do I feel i was punished for asking for fresh fries? the fries themselves were hot, but tasted nothing like a whataburger fry has ever tasted like. It tastes like a frozen potato with that mealy frozen texture. also i can taste the fry oil needs changing (used to work at KFC). This time the ice tea tastes perfect. Ordered online for delivery at 1:53pm. The delivery time changed from 2:12pm to 2:22pm. At 2:34pm, I called Whataburger because the phone # listed for the delivery person does not accept incoming calls. At first the employee at Whataburger could not find my order. Then she found it and said the delivery person just picked it up. I finally got my order at 2:42pm. I paid $12 extra for the delivery & tip. The food was not hot-barely warm. Onion rings limp. Barbie's nose has been all stuffy lately and sometimes produces gross stuff, but it's cute because I mean look at her. So her new nickname (until her cold clears up) is "Whatabooger." Anyway. This is a damn decent Whataburger down on the Southwest Freeway, and I love it because it's open late AF and pretty good especially for this area, pretty friendly for a fast food spot, and the lobby is open later than your grandma's bedroom! Most places in Sharpstown close their bathrooms nice and early like before midnight. It was well after midnight when I swung by here on a Saturday night recently, desperate for the bathroom, and this Whataburger - which has never provided me with a bad food experience although it's never been great - has their Lobby open late and the clean bathrooms available to all, and that is way more than I expected exactly what I needed. Service is totally different nite and day daytime is smooth because there's a manager on site I guess but that nighttime has the line waiting extra long when there's only three people to be served. I went through the drive thur to order breakfast. I told the drive thur person to hold on so I get my order together. When I was ready to order no one can back to take my order. I could have went to Burger King but I wanted a breakfast burger so I went inside to order. Mrs Mel took my order and she was so nice. She was cleaning the lobby. The service was very slow. The two females who work in the front were ignoring the guests who wanted to order bc they were too busy having their own conversation about what to eat for lunch. Service took way too long. Ugly stares from all the workers, they all work slow and sloppy. The two girls in the front desk taking orders were very unprofessional. Don't waste your time coming here, waited more than 30 minutes to get my food, this is terrible.

I've come thru their drive thru several times last year & this year. When ordered large fries even multiple orders, the fries are always only half filled. I'm done paying for large fries and only receiving small versions. In addition, tonight 3/13, the front drive thru person was rude & not at all friendly no matter how many times i said thank you & have a great night. The only interaction we had was just her taking my credit card & handing me my order but she just acted like she did not want to be there. This person should not be working customer service. Because of these issues, I'm no longer going to this location & have advised all my friends and Chevron coworkers to not go to this whataburger local & to be mindful of all other whataburger drive thru locals & possible walkins. read more

This location used to be right across the street from my neighborhood and now it's moved a few blocks away. My dad was upset and joked we'd never go bc it's "too far" now but we went today (Sunday) for the first time. At the drive thru my dad asks for a mustard whataburger #1. He clarifies at the second drive thru window guy (the first one being the register lady). He wants a whataburger with all the toppings, lettuce, tomato, etc. but just mustard instead of ketchup/mayo. Clear enough? Wrong. We get home and it's literally just the bun, patty, and mustard. No pickles, lettuce, onions, or tomato. Seriously? I respect fast food workers and whataburger is hands down my favorite fast food burger place but to all those people who want higher wages...for what? You can't even get an order right, one that was said twice, nor check to see if it was right before giving it to a customer. Mind you, there's 2 cars behind of us, none in front of us, and only one car in the parking lot - y'all aren't busy at all. Then my order of chicken strips had half a gravy. Half a gravy?!? Both my chicken strips/toast and french fries were cold, and though I ordered a regular sweet tea I received an iced tea with added sugar packets because I tasted every single grain of sugar throughout the drink instead of the regular blend/liquid sugar mix. I've lived in houston for 8 years and I finally went to whataburger! But sadly, I was disappointed. I ordered chicken strips and fries. The fries were pretty good actually. Staff was friendly and efficient. The food was good quality Whataburger fast food. Although the staff was busy cleaning and the dinning area look fairly clean the ladies was another story. Toilet and sink area was filthy and not just with today's traffic. One toilet was also broken. After visiting the restroom I would have left but my daughter had already ordered food.
