First time at Blaze and the staff was helpful & nice. It took a few minutes after I was in line to place my order, but it gave me time to stare at the options and all of the toppings on the food line. Once I was greeted, things went fast. They took my order on the pizza paper & got a little metal tag with my order number. Red sauce, mozzarella cheese, onion, tomatoes, mushrooms, jalapeños, roasted garlic cloves. I paid and got my salad and drink. They call your name when the pizza is ready. I got a settled at a table, took maybe 3 bites of my Caesar salad, then my name was called. They offer sauces to finish the pizza. I usually do not get those finishing sauces at other quick-fire pizza places so I tried the pesto on one peice. Not bad, but with all of the toppings and flavors, it did not need the pesto. When I put up my tray and trash and got a refill on drink to go, the dude who served me my pizza asked if I liked it. Very rude ladies, both working on pizza, my sister asked for half and half on sauce because it's a make your own pizza and the option wasn't listed on the screen to place your order, keep in my mind my sister was instructed by 1/3 of the workers to ask the ladies who were in charge of the pizza making process to ask them to add it on which they gave a cold shoulder to my sister and was very nasty w/ the replies. Following up after this, one of the ladies threw my sister's pizza together very sloppily and threw it in the oven with everything just piled up which lead my sister to ask for a refund, which she shortened the refund. read more

Blaze pizza used to be my favorite of the make-your-own pizza chains. Unfortunately I can no longer recommend coming here. I placed an online order for their promo "Pizza Party For One" listed for $8.95. I later realized I was charged a subtotal of $10.45. I asked about this discrepancy when I picked up but no manager was on site. I was only offered a stale dessert for the issue. I was upset that they did not honor the price listed but I understand mistakes happen and the difference wasn't substantial so I just made a complaint through their internal survey. However, the manager called after to tell me I was wrong, that there was no issue on their end, and declined seeing the screenshots I had, so I figure a Yelp review is warranted. read more

I am giving this place a very negative review. I wish I did not have to even give my review a star. Unfortunately, there is nothing positive to say about my pizza. I ordered via Uber Eats and I ordered a pizza with gluten free crust and vegan cheese with various toppings. When I opened the pizza I was greeted with a terrible smell. My first bite was terrible and my second bite was even worse. I ended up throwing the entire pizza in the trash. Talk about a waste of money! Pi Day in May?! Why Not! Blaze was so gracious to extend their Pi Day offer for redemption through the end of 2020 due to Covid-19. I had been wanting a fresh pizza pie for a minute, but being that their locations are pretty sparse in the Houston area, I waited until I was near the area to redeem. Using the app to order is user friendly and they actually have the rewards program embedded into the app. You'd be surprised how other companies don't do the same and it's an absolute headache, so thanks Blaze for thinking of usability for your customers. I normally don't have too bad of experiences coming here fairly regularly. Yesterday, service was extremely slow. While I was waiting at the front of the line, I noticed this roach crawling around the food prep area. When the worker came to start my order he grabbed a pen and flicked it down further into the cup of pens to conceal it. Made me lose my appetite right away. It looks like a German cockroach which are the ones that infest. Build my own pizza with unlimited toppings? Don't mind if I do. I will take one of everything (except the olives) please! This is the second Blaze location I have visited and it turns out they all run the same way. You go up to the counter, design your own masterpiece, and then feast! I always choose to build my own pizza with the toppings of my choice. The standard pizza comes with one ladle of sauce which I think is just a tad short of what is needed for the pizza size, so I like to ask for a little bit of extra. They are always great about accomodating that request. The sauce choices are: classic red, spicy red, white (alfredo?), and pesto. I have seen people order their pizzas with red sauce in the middle and some pesto on the edge. I bet that is tasty. Meat toppings that are available: pepperoni, sausage, ham, chicken, meatball, salami, vegan chorizo, and perhaps one or two I am missing. Veggie toppings that are available: jalapenos, spinach, basil, onions, roasted red peppers, green bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, chopped garlic, whole roasted garlic, olives (blech), pineapple, artichoke hearts, and more. It's really hard to go wrong here. The only reason I couldn't give this 5 stars is because the edge of my pizza was a little burnt. read more

The staff were extremely nice and made sure everything went smoothly along the assembly line of pizza crafting. Base sauce options are red, spicy red, white, or pesto. Toppings include a good variety of meats and veggies like Italian sausage, ham, bacon, chicken, pineapples, olives, bell peppers, garlic, oregano, spinach, basil leaves, onions, cheeses, zucchini, and a lot more. If you want a salad they've also got it. Desserts are at the end where the cashier is. The parking is shared with other tenants but not an issue at all. The inside is quite spacious and there are just a few tables outside for those who enjoy the patio. My pizza was ready as promised in 180 seconds. I remember going to an Yelp Elite event when blaze opened like 5 years ago, but hadn't had a chance to go back. The restaurant is clean and has plenty of seating. They give you some options of how you want to make your pizza. I liked the personalized aspect - like subway but with pizza. We shared the bbq chicken which has a great cheese flavor and lots of toppings, not overpowering. We also got the garlic knots which were ok. I did enjoy their sunset Fresca drink - nice flavor but not too sugary and I mixed it with lemonade. Overall, this whole plaza is really expanding with new restaurants. Pros: friendly staff, great food, good lunch option Cons: it took a little long considering no one was inside. But there were several Postmates/to go orders that needed to be filled. I had the lunch special which was a great amount of food for less than 10 bucks. There was a couple inside who was there for the first time and seemed really confused.
