This is by far one of the worst Whataburger locations I have been too and it's even more disappointing that it's right in my neighborhood. Don't waste your time coming to this whataburger. The employees have shitty attitudes, and you'll be waiting 45 minutes for one breakfast sandwich (this has happened on multiple occasions). Whoever came up with the drive thru situation clearly didn't think it through because it's set up in the worst way possible. They don't allow you to pass in the outter lane, they use it as a second waiting area. The employees give you your food first and those behind, in front of and beside you get theirs 10-15 minutes later so you're just stuck sitting there. In my opinion this is the worst whataburger I have ever been to. I pulled thru the drive thru into the open lane (they have 2). After a longer than normal wait the girl told me the lane was closed. I said they should put something to block the lane if it were closed. She said the high school kids steal the cone. I said well since we are already talking go ahead and take my order. She said again the lane is closed and I need to get back in line. There was already another car behind me and 2 more cars in the other lane since i pulled in. I said it's not my fault you can't close the lane and she should just take my order since I'm here. She got the "manager" who told me they don't have to take my order. I said are you serious? Ever since the epidemic started all of the employees that work there are immensely and constantly overworked, so I greatly appreciate their service in all forms. I love Whataburger and the food at this Whataburger was very good. However, the reason I'm giving it 1 is because the last time I ate there I saw customers take their trash to the trashcan and stick the tray down the trashcan to dump their trash and then put their tray up on the top of the trash box. An employee then came and picked up the empty trays and took them to the cash register and proceeded to squirt the tops of the trays with some sort of disinfectant and half way wipe only the center of the top of the tray. He didn't wipe all over the top. He didn't wipe the sides. He didn't wipe the bottoms. I asked him if they wash the trays and he said they only get washed if they're really dirty and only by the night crew. How is this sanitary? This has to be against Harris County health department regulations. We walked out the door and I told my husband that I will never eat at another Whataburger again. Disgusting. read more
