This Whataburger is convenient for me, the service is awful. Last night ordered a Whataburger jr. combo, it was late didn't need all the calories. Dude at the drive through speaker has the iPad expediter machine in hand (I'm thinking WOW! I'm about to get a Whataburger Jr. at chik-fil-A speed) so I pull up to the operating drive through window, and the employee unlocks the window and says sorry for the delay we will be right with you (I'm thinking Uhhhhh,...ok) so a little time passes and I count 7 already made drinks in various sizes and a guy comes to the drive through window and asks (did you get your drink...... Uhhhhh,....no) "whadja have" he asks, I said Dr. Pepper, he said was it a medium (I'm thinking are we playing go fish) I did I think so I order a Whataburger jr. combo I think that comes with a small, or maybe a medium I'm not really sure what the jr. sized drink is....he says small well he scans the already made drinks and finds one suited for me. Alright I got a tasty beverage. So another employee CSA to the window to ask if I want ketchup...,I said no thanks. Then another employee comes and asks me to pull forward (I'm thinking what the hell was the iPad guy for) (but I obliged with cheery disposition and a smile, hoping to see a reflection of my attitude) so I obediently pull forward about 2 car lengths. I figured this was a good spot it allows a car behind me, and wasn't too far from the door where my apparently difficult to make Whataburger jr. was being slow cooked. Well another woman comes out not with food, but with an order to "Pull up to the red line"......I knew immediately she meant business )not the business of deliver food, she was the traffic cop of Whataburger kingwood. Another minute passed and my whataburger jr. combo bag arrives....I grab the bag and utter (What, uuh, the) I shake the bag slightly thinking did the iPad guy type (Justaburger) yeah he probably did. Girl who handed me the sack, gave me the "is there a problem" look. I figured what the heck it's late I don't need all those carbs. "I guess we're all good" I get home and sure enough they did include some fries, not very many. I think they were looking out for me maybe thinking this guy doesn't need an entire small fry just put a few in there. If this is what they did, I suppose I should be thanking them for the reduced calorie Whataburger Jr. with the Costco sized sample fries. You know after writing this review I'm thinking I'll skip on this Whataburger from now on.

Sad lacking hamburger

I normally do not post on Yelp, but the Whataburger near my house is consistently lacking and disappointing. One should expect great food after sitting in the long love for over 20 minutes only to leave with nothing close to what you ordered. This is what I get every time I ask for extra onions and pickles...and I barely even had lettuce.

Was originally very frustrated until I spoke with the manager who informed me that they are short staffed and are having some other minor issues.

They have several locations and continue to grow. Why? Well because the offer a great menu of burgers, chicken sandwiches and wings as well as hot dogs. But I go there for the burgers because they are the best, bar none. The 1/2lb of perfectly grilled tender moist beef patty is place on a fresh soft bun with all sorts of toppings that you can choose from. And what do I have with my burger? Well I sometime have the tater tots but I really like their crunchy crisp and never greasy onion rings! So, what other things sets this chain apart? The staff is super friendly, from the welcome you get as you walk through the door to the service counter where your order is taken, and don't forget the nice employees who bring your hot order to your table. The interior is super clean and bright and the restrooms are spotless. Oh, and did I mention how good their burgers are? Super moist to the point if you don't eat your burger at a reasonable pace, the bottom bun will get rather damp from the juices in the meat! Not to worry, no hippos are used in making these burgers, but they are plump just like a hippo!

They acted like I was hired after all that but I kept checking up with them & they gave me the runaround. They ended up hiring some high school girl. Seems to be the main demographic they aim for in hostesses & servers which is kinda sus. Food is nothing impressive but is edible. Atmosphere is subpar & service is incredibly slow. They pretty much ignore you when you walk in & I've been a few times. I've never been impressed with how they treated me, as a customer or potential hire. I would never make a customer wait as long to be seated & served as this place has. Three B's is cemented in my memory as my most degrading interview & I've had dozens of them. Here I am 13 years later still upset when I remember this place. Absolutely horrible, unethical business. Not sure if it's run by the same management but if it's still the chubby bald man with the facial hair running it, shame on you. You're awful. I get Kingwood doesn't have many bar & grill sort of places around but Skeeter's seems to be a better option than here. I would avoid giving this place my business at all costs & advise you to do the same!

I've been to the original location in Spring Branch, but this was my first time visiting this location. The bar is located in a shopping strip off of 59. Parking is plentiful. Unlike the original location, you do not have to scan your ID (if you've been to the Spring Branch location, then you know what I'm talking about). It was pretty early on a Saturday evening, so it wasn't terribly busy. I sat at the bar. I don't know the bartender's name that served me, but she was nice. I ordered the Kingwood which is a gin based cocktail with cucumber. The drink was fine, but it was a little tart for my preference. A splash of simple syrup would have balanced it out. I did request for it to be less spicy (it has jalapeño in it). They have live music, though when I was there, they didn't have a band playing. They serve typical bar food like burgers, salads, and nachos. The vibe wasn't quite the same as the location in Spring Branch, but it was fine. This is a nice option for craft cocktails in Kingwood.

After being seated, it seemed the waitstaff forgot about us. We went to the bar and politely brought it to their attention. What impressed me most was how the situation was handled. The staff took full accountability, apologized, and even brought us complimentary garlic knots. That's how you run a business. Since it was our first visit, our waiter took the time to recommend some of the restaurant's favorites. The manager also stopped by our table to check on our experience. When we told her how kind and attentive our waiter had been, she surprised us with a complimentary Parry's beer cup and bottle opener. The food was fresh, delicious, and exceeded our expectations. The garlic knots were incredibly soft, buttery, and packed with garlic flavor. The atmosphere was perfect for watching the game, and the customer service turned what could have been a negative first impression into a memorable experience. We'll definitely be back!

First off the Bolognese was one of the best I've ever had and I grew up with old Italians who prided themselves in their sauce. Reminded me of home. My wife's sandwich was so big she had to cut it in half. She said it was really good and that they could just serve it without the bun and it would be a hit. Ended up taking half of it home which I finished later in the evening and I have to agree. It was a really good chicken sandwich. And I can't forget the fries. They were great too. Congrats to the chefs on a job well done.
