Really surprised that this location has such low reviews. I've been here a few times but this morning I went in early for breakfast. There has always been a line no matter what time I've gone but it does move quickly. This is the largest of any locations I've seen also. My bacon egg and cheese biscuit was perfection! The hash brown sticks were great too. We also tried the biscuit and gravy and while the gravy was a bit runny the flavor was there. Very clean inside and out as well. read more

Had four sets of customers that were inside walked out, have had FIVE potential customers drive up, get out of their cars, go inside, and in less than two minutes come back out and leave, one of which was a deputy sheriff and another an ambulance crew. Supposedly problems within the kitchen (staff or equipment ?) causing a major backup. When I first went in there were a couple of kids playing and running all over the seat area. Has been having minor difficulties for quite some time. Maybe they have reached a major level. A level that maybe Whataburger Corp needs to look into things. read more

Updated review from my original 2 stars. Stopped in last week and ordered lunch for my girlfriend and I. We had 3 sandwiches and 2 drinks. The gal at the register seemed pretty new. She didn't know exactly how to put our orders in to the system. I ordered a bbq chicken tender sandwich, a dbl pattymelt meal, and a #1 meal. She rang in everything without being meals and fries separate, which cost more... but we were able to get it fixed after. My girlfriend ordered the iced coffee, and we were told they dont really do them, but she would try. After about 10 minutes we were presented one of the worst excuses for iced coffee ever. But they remedied it with a milkshake. About 5 more minutes went by, there are about 10 people waiting on food. A full cart of door dash orders. The staff you can hear complaining, arguing, cussing, and such in the back. One of the girls actually said it was a 30 minute back up. After about 40 minutes total, the manager came and grabbed my receipt along with two other peoples. I actually started stopping people when they walked in and warning them that there was a 45+ minute wait.... In total, it took 54 minutes to get my food. When i did get it, I was missing a french fry and my patty melt had very little three pepper sauce on it like i asked for. Just a very, very, very poor excuse for lunch. Glad i had nothing else to do, so i could see it through to the end. Will not be back. read more

Today I sat in line over over 20 mins, this was after I placed my order! I paid extra for large fries and should be reimbursed because I technically got a medium! The diet dr. Pepper taste like it needs to be changed out! The employees don't have a clue considering someone came up to the window and asked me to pay for an order that wasn't mine...every time I come here it's the same thing, I wait for a long time! read more

The newest commodity in town! Beyond glad there's a Whataburger in the Leeseville area. The food, service, and physical establishment are awesome. Wait times can be long due to when you arrive, but the food and drinks are always worth it. Give them a shot! read more

Very bad service. My wife and I visited on our way back from Fort Jackson. We do some delivery work in that area sometime and we stop by this location tonight so she can get a salad which cost $11.49. This store gave her a whole salad without any dressing and on the ticket and the receipt it had add balsamic dressing. The man who handed it to her, let her know everything was in the bag. The burgers had more mustard And onions than anything. Whataburger has a good burgers however it seems like they're trying to make a salad on the burger instead of an actual burger.. well of course you live you learn this is one location I will not visit and if I had to give them no star that's exactly what they deserve read more

As a delivery driver my personal experience at this location over the course of the past few months has been HORRIBLE. Majority of the time not only me but several other dashers at the same time have had issues with this place from excessive wait time to missing orders. Last night I went in to pick up two orders. Picked up the first customers order then was told that the second order "was picked up by another driver". I called the customer and he told me there was no updates on his order. I excepted it and drove 20 minutes from the military base to go pick it up only to be told "Oh someone must of stole his order". I contacted support and also spoke with one of "their managers" and he told me "they can't remake it and I'm not about to remake a $80 order. I get that's policy. What really bothers me is they complain about losing money. If they really wanted to save money with dispensing of mobile/DoorDash/Uber Eats they should MOVE THE AREA (Cart) they place these orders on out of public reach and to have one of their associates verify pickup of the orders to prevent theft and lower percentage of mistakes. NO EMPLOYEE REALLY WATCHES THE CART AND ANYONE WITH ILL INTENTIONS HAS ACCESS TO IT. I AM SICK AND TIRED OF ENTERING THIS FACILITY MAJORITY OF THE TIME ONLY TO BE DISAPPOINTED BY THE EMPLOYEES AND MANAGEMENT WITH ISSUES THAT HINDER THE DELIVERY DRIVERS AND ULTIMATELY PUNISH THE CUSTOMER which could be solved if the employees at this location would get together and strategize ways to improve their business. I will say I do enjoy Whataburger as a franchise. This location however has lost my respect and I avoid it whenever I am hungry because of order issues not only as a delivery driver also as a customer. DO BETTER LEESVILLE WHATABURGER!!! read more

The service at this Whataburger is awful. Every time that I have went there they clearly have a single overwhelmed worker taking orders and payment for an overflowing line of people. I enjoy Whataburger as a Franchise, never thought Leesville would get one . . . but the Leesville Store has the worst service ever! The last three times I came inside & I waited 25 to 30 minutes for the food, & they were not busy ! (1;15 PM) Today they had eight people with complaints just the 45 minutes I was there. I get 30 minutes for lunch, just can't wait that long, & the drive-thru window is just as bad ! I hate it, but I gotta got to McDonald's. You need the store manager from McDonald's, in & out ! I hate giving bad reviews & know everyone has bad days, but the one thing ya'll are consistant at is BAD service !! I waited a long time for Whatabuger to come to Leesville, but very disappointed ! well as far as hamburgers it passes muster. my biggest complaint is the former military discount. now only soldiers in uniform recieve the discount. that leaves out the retired military in leesville. about 80 percent of population. since i have to pay full price i will buy my hamburger from another vendor. the hamburger at the bowling alley on fort Johnson (Polk) is one nice burger and the onion rings are really good and the service is superior and very friendly. read more

1st time I been in there since opening and it will be my Last! The worst grilled chicken sandwich ever. Looked like somebody smashed it with all there weight on it. My girlfriend's triple burger ,same way. Left there still hungry. After 40 bucks later for 2 smashed value meals. Not much value there if u ask me. I've lived in the area almost 30 years. We do Not! Need another burger joint with that poor of service. Also I'll add the lady anacoco Indians were in there and a young boy went to counter while we were ordering and he asked for ketchup and she rolled her eyes at him. I'm like wow. He just wanted ketchup. U know just very rude to public, even a young buck. Felt bad for em. Me & my girlfriend went and got pizza as soon as we left and enjoyed that and finally got full. Jakyra was extremely unprofessional taking 2 customers ahead of our vehicle while she asked us to wait for a "moment". After waiting 20 minutes staring at the screen we order but she couldnt seem to hear anything we said having to repeat ourselves multipletimes. After waiting another 10 minutes we pull up to the window to see employees dancing and joking around in the back. When jakyra opens the window she asks for our name then what we ordered, she has to look for about 10 minutes. Finally she tells us our total and we ask for the Law enforcement discount with our identification. She the closed the window and said nothing to us for ANOTHER 15 MINUTES. When she tells us our total it is obviously not with the discount applied as we have received it before with the same order. We told her is was law enforcement and she tells us that the manager put a discount on it. By this point we are not interested in waiting any longer for our food. So we pay and leave. Once we get home, neither of our large meals had a "large" size fry. And our "discount" was the manager removing my large drink off the order and changing my meal into a sandwich and side medium fry. Not to mention all of the food was cold from all the waiting around. Very disappointed with our experience, we will not be returning to this whataburger anymore. Get someone on the drive thru with more than a elementary school education. Was like pulling teeth trying to talk to this woman. read more
