My first time at a Whataburger. Everyone says you have to try a Whataburger and they are better than In n Out. Well let me tell you something,the Whataburger is good but seems just like any other fast food place. In n Out beats them by a mile. First off the food at In n Out taste way fresher. The Whataburger is good though, don't get me wrong I will gladly eat it any day. I had the patty melt today and it was good n cheesy on some Texas toast. So yes I did like it! The fries seem pretty standard but are good. They have a few different kinds of ketchup or sauces for you to use also. Now to the restaurant itself. The bathroom was just absolutely horrible. This facility or maybe business does not seem to have standards as other said burger joint. Nor do the employees seem as happy to be working there. The girl who took my order was friendly and nice though. The only reason I compare Whataburger to In n Out is because everyone else is saying one is better than the other. California vs Texas. Well California wins this burger contest. Still I eat a lot of fast food and will smash on a Whataburger if I get a chance. Ran through the drive-thru on my way back to Dallas. Ordered a burger combo and a salad. They asked what kind of chicken on my salad - I ordered "crispy". Got my order, drive an hour home. When I opened my salad, it was fresh and attractive - except -- there was not one piece of chicken in the entire salad. Not one. Called the restaurant. They offered to make me another one. I was not driving an hour each way to get a salad that they didn't put any chicken on. I asked for a credit to my card. I was told no. I asked for an e-giftcard. Again, NO. The lady told me if I'd call back the next day, I could talk to their acting GM. NO. I am a life-long Whataburger fan - but this is not the way that most Whataburgers treat their customers. In the past two weeks I've gone through the drive-thru to order a meal. Both times I ordered a #2 with cheese, onion rings and an apple pie plus a drink. In both occasions Whataburger did meet my expectations in the quality of food nor in their service. On the 11th of May, I ended up not getting the cheese on my burger. By the time I got it home, I decided to just eat the double meat burger without the cheese. When I went to eat the burger, I found it to be only lukewarm rather than hot. I only live 5 minutes away and this was disappointing as my onion rings were jammed into the cardboard container and were very cold. The only saving grace was my apple pie was piping hot. I thought this experience was an anomaly and decided to go back today, the 17th of May, I went back to Whataburger to place my order. Lo and behold, there was cheese on the burger but it wasn't melted on there. Also the burger was cold, not just lukewarm like the first time. The onion rings were cold and there was no catsup in the bag. The apple pie was the only hot item. There's another Whataburger in Lewisville and I'll check that one out as it's only 7 more minutes for me to drive. This Whataburger location is very clean and service is fast and friendly. We like this location because it's close to home and have been going here for years. The only issue is the drive through can be a pain due to how the parking lot is set up. The parking lot is kinda small also but we normally use the drive through and eat at Lake Lewisville. If you have never had Whataburger you have to give it a try. The triple burger is always a must for me. read more

Ordered a delivery for a burger, two fries and two drinks. When we received the order we were missing a fry, I originally called just to get a refund because I ordered off the app and the manager insisted I bring the food I ordered for delivery to the restaurant to verify I didn't get the fry. So I brought the food to the restaurant, no one even looked in my bag to verify that I didn't get the fry they just gave me the fry. So why make me come to the store and let my food get cold if you were just going to give me the fry either way? I would of been fine with a refund. How can it take so long to make so little food? It's genuinely impressive how long it takes this place to make a sandwich.

This is the closest Whataburger to my house and every single time I come after 10PM it is such a long wait. I don't know if the place can't keep their employees or if they just refuse to staff it better, but they would have so much more business if they just had enough people to take care of the people coming later at night. More minutes go by as he and his few remaining friends are unceremoniously dumped onto the tray. "Goodbye Bob" is heard as Marge is picked up. What is it like in the great beyond, Bob ponders? Is there an after-tater life? Will they all meet again in a thing called stomach Heaven? Is there a hell? He looks around and there is silence. All of his friends are still there but there is no large grasping device picking them up. Why? What did they do wrong? He grows cold. He is shivering. Is this my fate, he ponders? Why wasn't he used? And then, he remembers. "I'm sorry, you are limited to only one ketchup", the buyer was told. The buyer argues with the seller that he would like two, but the seller won't budge.
