This is the worst Whataburger I've ever had. Do not eat here. First off, 3 of the meal combos we ordered were made entirely incorrectly. I'd say they had mixed up our food with someone else's but the correct stickers were on the wrappers, the food inside however was not ours. Not only were the orders completely incorrect, the food was just cold and not prepared well. I'd talked up whataburger to my family who had never had it before, and nobody wants to go there again after eating here. I'll be disputing the charge with my credit card company since I couldn't get ahold of anyone by phone. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

First off, I kinda laughed at the review that expressed being distraught at not getting homemade chicken strips at Whataburger. I mean, seriously, it's Whataburger. That's some funny stuff there though. That said, I didn't think I'd ever be in a spot where I'd have to start doing semi-negative reviews of a Whataburger but here we are. Having had Whataburger within a mile of me for most of my life, I'm used to some of the things I usually see gripes about from the uninitiated. It's on them for not understanding the way of the Whata-world. At this location, it seemed like I kept encountering trainee after trainee or employee after employee that didn't know what was up. I'm someone that gives a place several chances before I swear it off for a while unless something grievous is done. Mostly inattentiveness to the customer is what I've encountered walking in. In the drive thru, it's been ok, though my order had been messed up twice. Luckily, in the latter instance, the manager was walking the trainee through, so he was able to show her how to resolve the issue while still at the window. Bonus points on that one. All of that said, this Whataburger is typically the closest to where I tend to stay in OKC. I actually ended up going to one a bit further away to get food with better service. May have to do that again on future trips. read more

they're pretty good, definitely not as good as In-n-out. In-n-out has stayed true to their simple classic menu with lower prices and fresher ingredients. I don't see why people compare the two, there's no comparison. Wherever in-n-out goes the crowds follow, their food is way better quality and the cleanliness of their restaurants are far better than any Whataburger I've ever been to. I wanted to try this, actually left another place when I looked over to see the Whataburger sign. When I lived in and later visited Texas it was always a favorite stop. I rolled in here to dine in at about nine in the evening last week. There were only two customers inside. I ordered a double cheeseburger, side of peppers fries and a drink. I am telling you it took twenty minutes for the food, and it was not hot. The person at the counter let it sit ready, and cooling off. The long wait for warm not hot food was what cost this visit stars. It was not the service nor food I have had before. I don't eat at Whataburger a lot--mainly because I just don't think of them as an option but that will be changing. I was picking up friends from the airport and the plane was late and I was hungry so I drove north on Meridian remembering there was a Burger King near I-40. I get there and they were backed up so I left and since there was a Whataburger nearby I decided to give it a try. I got the bacon burger (opted no cheese). This is a serious sandwich! lots of lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pickles to go along with a nicely flavored bacon. the sandwich comes with mustard rather than mayo which is fine with me (lots less calories). At whataburger you get your drink and sit down and someone actually brings the food to you like a real restaurant! The food was excellent, the staff was competent and friendly, and the dining room was clean and spacious. If it's been a while since you've been to Whataburger, give them a try--I think you'll like it. read more

I'm visiting OKC from Texas so I may have somewhat of a bias towards how a Whataburger should operate, but this is the worst Whataburger experience I've ever had...and that's including the time I woke up in a WB drive thru covered in puke that smelled of Goldschlauger. I got in the drive thru line at 11:10pm behind a very unique black 4x4 that I was admiring. After 5 mins we never moved. There were probably 7-8 cars in front of me, then 2 more behind me. I decided that it would be faster to go back to the highway and drive a few miles away at the next exit to see what was open there. On my drive, I ultimately decided I needed some WB and figured they worked out their issues and drove back up to WB. I got back at 11:26 as a car at the back of the line swerved out and took off, obviously frustrated. Low and behold I was back behind the same 4x4, we were just a few spots further up. The guy who finally took my order seemed pissed as hell, like I was an inconvenience to his night. I ordered a basic HAMBURGER meal. By the time I got my food, I had spent another 13 mins in the drive thru. Had I not taken a tour of NW OKC mid trip, it would've been a half hour sitting in a line of only 7 cars. In that time I watched more cars drive away than were served, meaning the owners don't give two shits about their business here because as I read other reviews, this is normal for this place. Oh, and the best part...cold fries and cheese dripping off my hamburger when the word cheese was never mentioned. The only positive thing I can say is the dude at the window was super stoned so at least he had a good excuse for barely functioning. read more

A great whataburger. Employee here are very friendly and make sure you are taken care of. They told me if I went online and took their quick survey they would give me a free meal the next time we came. Now my boyfriend and I both have free meals waiting for us the next time we go. Food was great at this whataburger. No complains I only have it three stars because it's a fast food restaurant it's not a four star restaurant but as far as fast food goes four starts for sure. read more

Only stop by this Whataburger in the morning if you've got a BS excuse to tell your boss of why you are late to work because they won't be happy to hear that it was because you got stuck in the Whataburger drive through for 20 min. Was it worth it? Well, I didn't get fired, and I did get to have a jalepeno cheddar biscuit that was hot and delicious. Pulled up to the drive thru about 7:39 on 10/30/20 and started to place my order for a jalapeño cheese biscuit and sausage sand which and the order taker interrupted me while I was placing my order so I asked her to let me finish speaking. She told me I was being rude when in fact it was her being rude. At that point I left the drive thru lane and went to McDonalds where they are more polite. Whoever you have working the drive thru lane has a really bad attitude. read more

We stopped in for a quick breakfast at this older looking Whataburger location with low expectations, but it was really very good. Simple and straightforward from the plain black coffee to the no frills menu. Everything was very clean. Service was quick and prices were low. I opted for the honey butter chicken biscuit and it pretty much blew Chick Fil A's chicken biscuit breakfast out of the water immediately. Decadent honey butter sauce dripping from the huge piece of deep fried chicken on a homemade tasting biscuit. Not a breakfast I would have every day but it was a shockingly tasty indulgence. The coffee and hash brown sticks were good too, and my husband enjoyed his taquito even though it was not like any other taquito he's had...more of a standard breakfast burrito, just flour tortilla with cheese and egg. Excellent! I'm from Wisconsin and we don't have Whataburger here, so I thought I would try it. It was excellent. I love patty melts and that is what I ordered. They are almost always soggy and greasy, but I keep getting them anyway. The patty melt here was PERFECT! Not greasy or soggy, PERFECT. My dad had a chicken wrap thingy. The vegetables were sauteed perfectly, again not overly greasy or soggy, and they had great taste. I wish we had one of these in Wisconsin! read more

I love the breakfast here, however if you want breakfast during the week here, forget it. I keep coming back expecting things to get better, yet they have not. The lady who works the window is rude and does not listen, 70% of the time they forget to include hash browns or an ingredient (such as the egg) on my breakfast biscuit. I have yet to wait less than 15 minutes for my breakfast here, while being the only car in the drive through at 430am. Pathetic. One of these days I will learn. read more

Foods good like always- just be aware if a blonde girl takes your cash at the drive through window, I gave her a 20$ bill, waited for 5 minutes, then she handed me my drink, waited a few minutes more, and was handed my food as she told me to have a good day and closed the window. I waited as she stared at me through the window and finally she asked if I needed ketchup but I told her no I needed my change. She gave me a look and acted confused before she picked my 20$ up off the counter and opened the register finally to give me my change back. Sometimes they get it right, a lot of times they get it wrong. Don't order in the store or you will wait 30 minutes or more for your order, that's if they even remember to get you your order. They only focus their energy on drive thru orders. I was blown away by how really dumb the 2 kids taking orders at the front were. How do they survive? Coming to this whataburger has made me very concerned for today's youth and where our educational system has failed them in this state. Somebody in the corporation needs to overhaul/retrain this stores staff members. read more

Hit or miss here. I've had some great burgers and shakes in the 4 weeks I've been here, and I've had the worst. Especially if you're in the drive thru, check and taste your food before leaving.
