The decor is very Oklahoma, like a cattle ranch was turned into a tavern. The mushroom and swiss burger was ok. I could have used a few more ingredients, maybe some grilled onions or greens. The sidewinder fries were great, highly recommended if you like thicker "wedge" type fries. Based on the food I would have given 4 stars, but our server Lexi was just 6/5. Good place to catch a game. They have a lot of TVs and bar space. We stopped in for late night food. Their kitchen is open until 10:30. Pizza was good. Not the best but not terrible. When we travel, we try to find local places to eat. Mug Scratch Kitchen was very close to our hotel and we decided to give it a try. We sat at the bar and were greeted by Sammie. She was very personable and hospitable. My wife ordered the wedge salad. I had the bacon cheeseburger. My wife liked that the wedge salad came out similar to a chopped salad. It was very tasty. The bacon cheeseburger was delicious and cooked to perfection. We really appreciated the hospitality Sammie provided during our visit. I've been here a couple of times now when I'm in town for business. The food and service are always good. I like the ambience. Feels a little like a dive bar but nicer. The Mug is frequented by a lot of people I know that got to OKC for work because it's close to the hotels where we stay, it's a sports bar and has good food. The place is quite busy in the evenings, especially on a Friday night. Everything was clean, music and TVs on for entertainment... it's a bit loud, so definitely not intimate, but enjoyable mint. I recently went in and initially sat at the bar, but it was quite crowded, so I decided to get my order to go. Wings & salad, easy peasy. Their side salad is the best side I've ever had. Usually just some lettuce and a couple veggies , but this was loaded with vegetables and even had crispy fried onions on it. Nice treat! I'll go for the Hot Chicken and ask for extra sauce on the side so I can make it hot. Fried pickles appetizer or the sampler if you're really hungry or there's more than 2 of you. I usually get the coleslaw as it's good and better for me than the sidewinder fries which are good as well. No spicy mustard for your reuben and no Louisiana Hot Sauce. I think it was Tabasco. Can't remember cause I prefer Louisiana Hot Sauce. Nice selection of local craft beers. Haven't had any of the cocktails so can't tell if they know what they're doing, but they do sell a bunch. 3 bar area's. Outside seating on the west side of the building. Service good. It's not fast food. I would suggest that you order your drink and appetizer at the same time and when the appetizer arrives order your entre.
