Ok guys this one is in a Walmart so I was skeptical. I ordered on their app while I was shopping and I figured I would get done shopping and have to wait to get my food. But when I got there it was waiting before they said. The burger wasn't the way I ordered, but it was a very good burger. LOCATED INSIDE WALMART You wouldn't typically think that phrase would conjure up thoughts of good food, however, in this case, you would be mistaken. Their menu is mainly grill and fried fare, beef, chicken, and some fish selections. The burgers are very good and my kids tell me the chicken strips are good. I wanted to just sit down with my 1 year old to open up a rotisserie chicken while we waited for the pharmacy to open back up (we both can't have gluten) and the guy at the front wouldn't even let us sit down. How is it that service can ruin your entire experience? I've eaten at Wayback burgers on 8/20/2021. This is after I got some concerning health news. I thought I would treat myself to an "old fashion" burger. I asked if I could have the classic and add bacon to it? They said I could add bacon to anything. I didn't want a large sandwich. I did want fries and sodas. I ordered the classic add bacon large drink and an order of fries. It was $12. Pretty much what I would expect. When they delivered my food it was just the sandwich. I said oh am I waiting on the fries. He said "oh you want some?" "You didn't order it". I said okay He asked "would you like some I can get some. I said no. He said I can get you some and I said no please no. First of all why would I pay $4-$5 more. It's already over priced. Then I take one bite of my burger it was extremely delicious. Then he goes to bring me fries and ketchup. I again steadily say no. I do not want fries that have sat under the heat lamp. Not worth the price I paid. Then the second guy comes in and tries to talk to me and I said no leave me alone. Why are they so persistent. I didn't want to be bothered. By then. I'm dealing with other concerns than my overpriced burger with no fries. I then decide to leave. I take my drink leave the sandwich because at this point I don't want it. Then I threw my drink away because I have a crappy wal-Mart cart and can't steer it and have my drink. I then was not focused on my chore after coming from the doctor. I couldn't think or deal. Waited 15 minutes for Horseradish butter burger and Chili cheese fries. Ordered a large drink charged for and received regular. When order arrived it was wring no cheese fries, took another 2 minutes. Not too long ago, an outlet of the Wayback Burgers restaurant franchise opened up near the north entrance of the Wal-Mart at 3301 SW 104th St. in Oklahoma City. Like so many, I have a tendency to rush through Wal-Mart as quickly as possible, grab what I came to get, and get on with my day. I passed by the little burger joint many times, never stopping to sample their wares. One day, though, I had my grandkids with me, and they were hungry. I used the novelty of trying a new place where they had never eaten before to excite them at the prospect have having a burger and fries for lunch. The meal was wonderful, and the service even better. The manager, Sam, is friendly and works hard to assure that his customers are well satisfied, but the stars of this place are Anthony, Chelsey, and Tristan, three members of a family that all work at Wayback Burgers. Collectively, they are engaging and hardworking, and their son, Tristan, is the very epitome of youthful eagerness and the model of pride at doing a great job. I highly recommend that as you race through the doors, take a few minutes to park it on a stool, enjoy a good, simple meal, and say hi to the great folks that make and serve the food.
