I will not let anyone bash Whataburger without a fight! Atmosphere/Ambiance - 3/5 - Typical chain restaurant. Staff - 3/5 - Hit or miss. I usually do curbside, so my only issue is that I have had to a couple of times go inside to grab my food. I am not a fan of that when I have kids in the car. Food/Drink - I will list my favorite items to get: - Honey BBQ Chicken Strip Sandwich - 4/5 - The only complaint is that sometimes the chicken is a little dry. - Buffalo Ranch Chicken Strip Sandwich - 5/5 - I have never had a dry one of these. - Patty Melt - 5/5 - This is never a bad choice when hungry. - Mushroom Swiss (when available) - 5/5 - A go to when it is back. Overall, I get plenty of offers (BOGO), so I just usually wait for one of those to pop up on my app. I will always be back. read more

How, Sway? Seriously--how is this location so consistently disappointing? Why are the buns soggy and wet? That should never happen. To the owner of this location: please consider selling or transferring ownership to someone who genuinely cares about delivering the quality food and service people expect from Whataburger. My husband loves their chicken strips with gravy, toast and french fries. I usually go through the drive through which is usually fast and efficient. Whataburger is better than McDonald's and In-n-Out. We'll continue to patronize Whataburger. read more

Whataburger at this location is quite a nightmare. Recently, I ordered a chicken sandwich on toast with grilled onions and peppers and was charged over $10. After ordering I noticed on the menu that it should have been in the $6 range plus $1.10 for the tiniest amount of the onions and peppers. It turned out to be the wrong sandwich. When I brought it up to the staff they did not offer to refund the difference. Today, I walked in and the cashier was talking on the phone. She took orders from three other customers and then chose not to even acknowledge or help me. For quite awhile I waited, but since I was in a hurry to get to an appointment, I pulled out my card and tried to get her attention but she just turned away and ignored me. I felt upset and said, "Well, I have to leave now for an appointment" and she just said, "Bye" in an insolent tone. I turned back and asked for her name and she covered her name badge with her hand and retreated back toward the kitchen. I said "I need to see your name badge"and she kept covering it, moving back and turning away. As soon as I stepped over the line into the kitchen she started scolding me, "M'am you can't come in here!" and telling the person on the phone that I was crazy and she had no idea what I was saying! I went out to my car and called the restaurant asking for the manager. I am sure it was the same girl that answered the phone and said she was the manager. I asked her name and she said, "Alexa" which didn't seem to match what I had seen on her name badge that she was trying to cover. I started telling her that I had driven out of my way to come there, was not acknowledged and made to wait during her lengthy phone call and asked if she thought that was correct customer service. She stated that she had been on the phone with her boss and I couldn't just call on the phone to talk about it. I said, "OK, I will leave a review." She replied, "Go ahead, leave a review!" and I hung up. Worst attitude by service personnel ever! I hope Whataburger corporate will see this and get a clearer understanding about why they have so many terrible reviews. My husband went to pick up food ordered on app. He was asked to pull forward. The restaurant was not as busy as it has been in past. They delivered drinks and then he sat there for 15 minutes. He finally stopped someone delivering to someone else. Of course by that time the food was cold, they gave one drink wrong and no spicy ketchup as asked for. Not sure we want to use app anymore. This review is specific to the chili burger with Fritos; and I must say I am well underwhelmed. One of the biggest issues with "fast food" is the 20+ minutes wait; add the cost into the equation and I question every time I line up to order(both in a car and in store) Back to the burger....meh. The chili wasn't memorable, I'm not really a fan of Fritos. The Pattie's and cheese don't save the burger and the chicken gravy was a highlight for the dry fries and so so burger. This store was busy (after 2 in the afternoon) and it seemed short staffed. But they all worked with a smile and kept moving. They forgot to add the honey butter dipping sauce my daughters' requested, but otherwise, the order was correct. Both drive thru lanes had long lines, but they moved pretty fast. Service at this location was beyond poor. The alleged manager Emmanuel yelled at my daughters and tried to deny handing us our food because he "thought" my daughter was taking a picture of him. She had a small camera in her hand and was about to take a picture of the family. He did not want to believe her, my wife then tried to explain but was cut off. The whole facility was dirty; there was a bucket by the bathroom catching water from a leaky ceiling. None of the food was hot, not even the cheese on the grilled cheese. I never get a chance to go out to eat until late bc of work. And I happen to be the GM of a restaurant. By the time I get here there is always a line wrapped around the building. 3-4 employees working. And they aren't even decent employees. Every time I'm here I have to come inside to avoid the 30 minute wait in the drive thru, and the employees are loud, obnoxious, inappropriate and as far from professional as you can get. Besides that the lobby is always disgusting. There's never a clean table. Trash laying all over. It's a nightmare! I wouldn't suggest anyone come here. I don't know what happened to everyone else that reviewed this location but my experience tonight just 30 minutes ago at 1:30 am was 10 out of 10 the night staff were quick the buffalo ranch combo was PERFECT!!! I can not stress it enough that the onion rings were crispy and perfect and the burgers were sauced perfect and chicken was not dry just the correct amount of crispy crunch the people cooking taking the order and check out need a raise thank y'all for working so late to feed us :) read more

OooRah! Always glad to get back indoors for a Whataburger combo. This was our first visit to this location. It was a very busy Sat lunch hour; youth soccer and/or baseball must have been on lunch break. The drive-thru was very busy so we opted for dine-in. Be careful where you park on busy drive-thru traffic days as you may get blocked in. I found parking on south side or one closest to Hwy 380 best as well as entrance/exit. Kitchen was slammed with business but tapered off by 2pm. Considering the number of customers we saw today I don't think their current Yelp rating by others is justified. I would give them 5 stars if they can slightly improve their indoor service even when slammed at lunch time. Sign of great location and staff. read more
