It's a bad place, chronic bad. It's close to my home and I tried to go more often there, in a hope they "hooo, that guy again..." but not. They are bad robots, soulless and didn't care for nothing. Thank you for being kind and helping me fix my order that was made wrong by another location. The manager Brice and the employees went out of their way to replace a Whataburger order that I received from door dash that was burnt and I was not able to eat. I ordered door dash this morning for chicken strip meal and when it arrived it was burnt just like last night. I am pregnant and not able to move around as much so I do a lot of door dash. But this meal was so bad and burnt that I had no choice but to drive and go try to get it replaced. Before driving I called and spoke to manager Brice who assured me it was not his location that filled my order but he offered to replace it for free for me. I was so happy and appreciative of his help. When I got there the employee (a male with glasses) told me that yes they did not mess up the order but he can do this replacement for me one time. She was very upbeat and cornfirmed our order. Shantae, who was helping to deliver the food and take payment, was great as well. Slow and wrong. I ordered curbside and waited 20 minutes before I decided to walk in and get it myself. The girl said "we're busy" and I'm looking around like there are 3 people in the restaurant. No one was in line. When I finally got my order it was missing items. #1 rule for this whataburger- Always Always Always check your bag. They are ALWAYS missing something or got something wrong. I am a big fan of Whataburger, as it's one of the last places that does decent fries after the non-trans fat Laws passed on the 90's much to my disbelief. While visiting friends in Texas I stopped by for a quick fix. This location didn't have great reviews and it was easy to spot the reasons why. Easily enough. The tables could use a good wipe down. The fries were cold and greasy which was interesting as they were really busy at the drive through, so I am not sure how they managed that. Lastly the Dr Pepper from the fountain tasted like it was out of syrup. No whataburger drive through is fast, but last week we sat in line for over 30 minutes to be told they were closing at the managers request because they couldn't handle the workload. This was at 10:30 pm. Tonight at 9:55 we walk in, not wanting to wait in the god awful line, to which we are told the doors should have been locked. The gentleman told us that only two people were working, and they would take our order, but it would be a very long wait. Think we will just drive to a different location or restraints from now on. This Whataburger wins 1st place for the slowest drive through in Rowlett! It's almost unbelievable because the inside restaurant can be almost empty and the drive thru line will still back up with a wait of over 30 minutes. And it's not due to lack of employees. The young man at the window was also very professional and kind. They made my order hot so I had to pull up for a few minute's. Work on your customer service skills! Me and my relatives stopped by late at night for burger meals and some Dr. Pepper on the side. The guy who took our order, Cameron, kept saying over and over that they we're out of Dr. Pepper and his temper was getting elevated. And in the end, still has the nerve to mess up the order by replacing our French fries orders with onion rings. If it wasn't for the awesomeness of Whataburger, knowing I'm not from Texas, this review would get no more than two stars. Line of customers waiting on their orders and lots of goofing off and talking from what I heard and witnessed last night (2-2-18) with employees when we approached the window. Staff that doesn't really seem to be bothered with customers waiting. We ordered at 950pm and didn't drive off until 1011pm. It was so retarded.
