I didn't read the reviews before I stopped so that part is my fault. Seriously how do you screw up a bacon cheeseburger? It was rung up correctly after I repeated myself 3 times to the drive thru person. What I came home with was a cheeseburger with slimy wilted lettuce, no tomatoes, pickles, and no bacon. Bacon cheese burger with no bacon. Oh and cold fries. Did I mention it's rush hour and I'm the only car in the drive thru and had to wait 10 minutes for the food? It could at least be a warm screwed up order. I will not be to this location I'll drive the extra 5 miles to go to a better rated location. Don't stop here just keep driving there's another Whataburger down the road. And it does not let me give it no stars so by default it gets one. read more

This whataburger is really bad at service. I live right by this specific whataburger and constantly they are getting my order wrong or rude through the drive thru, i don't understand what the issue is i'm not rude, I understand if they get drunk customers sometimes and or if they have bad days but it's not hard to be decent and attentive on orders read more

The fact that I even have to give this place 1 star is ridiculous b/c it deserves negative stars. It is by far the WORST experience I have ever had with a food place. The customer service was horrendous, even the manager was AWFUL. We waited 30 minutes in the drive through! THIRTY minutes at a FAST food restaurant! I finally get out and go inside, I stand at the counter for a good 2minutes while employees stare at me, but don't even acknowledge me before I say something. I make the comment I've been standing there and not one person out of at least 6 employees say one word. I speak up and a kid that doesn't even look old enough to be employed starts talking to me in an extremely rude manner with his hands INSIDE of his pockets, does not say sorry or even try to accommodate me in any way. I then ask for the manager and let him know the situation, he WALKS AWAY while I am talking.. so at this point I have my voice raises and am pissed. Employees started to laugh and gossip with me standing RIGHT there. The manager argued about give us our $$ back, even though we had waited for 30 minutes, had to deal with the ABSOLUTE RUDEST employees I have EVER seen, & we watched the MANAGER in the kitchen on his PHONE!!! I get its fast food and it's a bunch of teenagers, BUT as a manager you should hire employees that have decent customer service and at least try to accommodate guest and as a MANAGER, YOU should satisfy the customers not walk away while they are speaking. This is the 2nd time I noticed this bad behavior of not giving receipts or the balance cash. Last time the cashier held the credit card and I went back to get it. Used the drive through and ordered a Double with cheese add Mayo, received a single with no mustard. This was my last trip to Whataburger Rowlett-66 & Dalrock. At 10:45 in the morning it took 15 minutes to get to the outside order speaker in the drive in. Now I know why. After I ordered and finally got to the pickup window it took them (and I'm not exaggerating) 15 minutes to get my order to me in the car. My food was cold and they had put onions on my wife's patty melt when I specifically asked them not to! I've had trouble at this Whataburger before. Not any more! This Whataburger will not make your food like you like it. I like egg white in my BOB and they refuse to remove the yolk. I have asked management and they stated that they will not do that. Other locations follow the well known Whataburger model, so they do fulfill the request of egg white only. But this location says they do not have the tools to do that. Ha. That's comical. This place is absolutely terrible. Slow/rude service. They didn't ask what kind of drink or cookie I wanted for my kids meal. I waited for over 20 minutes and multiple other cars left the drive thru before i made the decision to join them. I should have known better than to return here after the embarrassing experience i had when two of the employees teased me for the type of car i drive and laughed after forgetting my fries. Decided to try another Whataburger after my last (check my other reviews to see how that went). I got to the location on Lakeview Parkway in Rowlett (across from Walmart) around 8am on a Wednesday. It wasnt' crowded but I sensed a steady efficiency from the kitchen. Placed my order and sat down. I love Whataburger in general. The food is almost always really good. But to say that the service at this particular Whataburger was slow would be an UNDERSTATEMENT! Do not go to this location unless you have at least 30 minutes to spare!!! So I came through the drive-thru after work tonight about 10pm or so. It's pouring rain! I give my order to the girl on the speaker and she repeated it back, word for word. I then pull up to the window and the guy repeats my order. Again, word for word. A different guy walks up with my order in hand and comes to the window. He also repeats my order back to me, word for word. I give them my card, get my drink, and take off. I get home and there are the ONIONS I didn't order. Thanks a lot whataburger. Neither bathroom had paper towels. Service was very slow. Hamburger was the worst by far compared to many Whataburger locations over the years. This place was poor. The prices were slightly more expensive than most other locations I've visited, and they didn't have the drinks I've grown used to at Whataburger. The wait was longer, considering there was only one person in front of me, than most locations I've been to. But I wouldn't of cared much about any of that if the food was good. Too bad it wasn't. I ordered the Triple Meat Whataburger. It's a big and juicy burger, I'm not expecting it to be that neatly put together. But the burger was sloppier than usual, with the bread smushed on one side. Worst of all the food had very little taste. The fries weren't salted good and the meat was just meh. It just didn't taste like Whataburger. If it sounds like I'm being nitpicking, it's because I've come to expect a high standard from Whataburger. The one I regularly visit around my home in Richardson put this Whataburger to shame.
