I was very disappointed that NOTHING was hot. I ate one strip with gravy which was tasty and crisp. I don't really care for cool fries. I had to wait until I got home to heat the rest of my food up. I went to the drive-thru like normal, they had the guy come out with the portable unit to start taking orders faster. Took the order of the vehicle in front of me, then skipped getting my order and proceeded to the vehicle behind me. This used to be our go to place when we wanted something good and fast. However, we've been going less and less because the food just isn't as good as it used to be. Called out a few times which I know they can hear, they just decided to not respond. Who ever is the director of all these nearby locations should be let go along with all staff. Deserves 0 stars. There was a young lady at the front when I went there at 7pm on 1/17/20 who could not answer basic questions that I had and wouldn't even ask anyone else if they could help me. I waited more than 20 min for a what a chicken chicken sandwich and fries. That's longer than waits at some dine in restaurants. I waited less in the first week of the Popeyes chicken sandwich reintroduction. There were a lot of people in the back working and not too many people in the restaurant or drive thru. It looked chaotic and the food I received was pathetic. Been here before a couple of times and the wait has been horrid. Close to my home but I'll drive a little if I ever want Whataburger again. Ok...when I did a search on my neighborhood Whataburger I was surprised at the negative reviews I saw. I've been coming here for years but never thought about reviewing it until I saw the negative reviews. There aren't many reviews of this particular location so the average is pretty low. So I thought I'd boost it up a bit because I really never have had a negative experience here and today I was really impressed with the customer service! The counter person Sofia greeted me with a smile and a cheery attitude and had really good front counter hospitality! So kudos to Sofia! And when Aaron brought out my order he was also very gracious and hospitable. So kudos to the management team for emphasizing good customer service which was exceptional for today's visit! I found the location clean and the food typical of the Whataburger chain. Probably my favorite fast food burger joint!
