I'm a huge fan of WIYCC, as everything is fresh and delicious, buuuuut, I have a few gripes. All of the smoothies are pre-made, I'm assuming to save time. This is fine, but all but one have banana, which I despise. Luckily, the one I get is delicious, but it's filled with fruit and I would prefer one with vegetables. A large is $8, is pretty high for a mango and some coconut water...I guess I'll have to try a juice next time! It seems to take a while for a pre-made smoothie. Again, they are delicious, but I think they still need to work out a few kinks behind the counter. I haven't tried the food yet (they were out of a product that I was interested in), but would like to try it soon. read more

What's In Your Cup has been open for about two months now, and am disappointed I have not been in yet to try it out sooner! From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a refreshing, delicious smell, and the owner, Sheryl's welcoming demeanor. I let her know I had never been in before, and she let me try an abundance of samples ranging from Kale-Yeah smoothie, Yum-Me smoothie , Black Bean Soup, and a refreshing lemonade. All were delicious, to say the least, and are all the owner's own recipe! I decided to order a Yum-Me smoothie, and while I waited I noticed there was a whole wall of vegan and clean eating literature behind me - which sparked up a conversation that everything on the menu is vegan. In addition to smoothies and raw juices, there are soups, dishes that can be made into a wrap or a salad, guacamole (Sheryl exclaimed it's the best - so I'll definitely be back to try!), as well as a few different types of salsas. The burrito itself is tasty but it's suppose to be "$9.96" according to their website but I was charged $12.25. The burrito isn't as big as the pictures they've shown either, it's about the size of a dollar bill. They also threw in those fancy flaxseed chips? So it was over $2 more than what I thought and it was smaller than what I thought so it was kind of a let down. The inside is nice is just the price points are a bit much for me. I LOVE smoothies and fresh juices. I got the mang, tang bang smoothie and it was undrinkably sweet. It literally tasted like a full cup of sugar with OJ swirled in, and that was all I could taste. The smoothies from Mc D's (which I don't even like and are also too sweet) still tasted better and less sweet than this one. It was also $8.56 after tax for a small-ish large, which is a NYC smoothie price. I was excited to try the mango salsa and they were out of all their salsas. When you have a menu that is fairly limited you shouldn't be out of items. I also was in a rush and had to repeat my order 3x despite being the only customer ordering anything. Great service and interesting drinks I got the kale smoothie which was really good. The only complaint I have, is that it was way too sweet. I definitely had a sugar crash afterwards. I prefer my smoothies to have some sweetness but not too much. Update: gave them another try. The mang bang tang is too sweet and resulted in diarrhea. Is there artificial sweeteners in this? I suspect so which is causing the diarrhea. Plus there was an after taste to the smoothies, like a power-like aftertaste. Thought I was purchasing something healthy but I actually don't think so. Very delicious place for vegans to get lunch wraps. The blu-nana shake (blueberry, banana, almond milk) is very sweet and brings out a rich blueberry flavor. So I read all the reviews hoping for a 5 star experience at this vegan smoothie joint. I didn't experience a 5 star experience - at all. The owner is a delightful woman who is welcoming and that's really about it. The smoothies are average nothing to scream about. I had ordered the SW Vegan chicken wrap and what I got was barely any chicken protein, old wilted, moldy tasting mixed greens and tiny bits of daiyo cheese. Just a disappointment and I paid $10 for this small wack ass wrap! I could have gone to the Lunchroom and ate a delicious burrito for the same amount. I didn't mention that it took almost an hour for this wrap - she ran outta cheese by 1 pm and asked a customer to make a Kroger run for her. This place is great for vegans with more to offer then just smoothies. The wraps are good and the vegan chili is amazing! There owner is so nice and will gladly give you free samples to try. Inside is really open with plenty of natural light and seating and even has a fireplace. It's still fairly new so there's still some kinks to work or, mainly no real signage up front. I was so excited to find a vegan cafe only 10 minutes from my house!! I went in and Sheril the owner was there to greet me. She was awesome and even let me sample some of the smoothie options before choosing. I ended up getting the Hail Cesar wrap (comes with chips) and the Mang, Tang, Bang smoothie. The smoothie was so sweet and delicious and the wrap was full of flavor. I have no idea what vegan chicken she uses but it's waaay better than any I've had before. I even had a little less guilt eating the perfectly crunchy and salty chips that came with my wrap because they are made with some chia seeds (I'm 90% sure that's what Sheril said) which gives me a bit more healthy omega fats!
