The place looks trendy and nice, still looks like it's under development, some things were out of place with the interior of the cafe was not completely in order and seemed to be close to completion, but it seems to be a good place to hang out. I ordered the Best Southwest Wrap with the Peanut Butter Smoothie. The wrap tasted great and it was completely vegan which was awesome. I felt that it was lacking in portion, leaving me to want more. It's a little on the pricey side considering how much you get. The Peanut Butter smoothie tasted rich and was amazing! The owner and workers there were very polite and kind, the owner also gave my friend and I samples of the various smoothies that they featured on their menu which was a plus! I enjoyed the variety of smoothies that are available here which either had blend of fruits, or veggies or both. Other pluses about this place is that they offer free wi-fi, clean bathrooms, comfortable chairs and couches. The service was a little slow while we were waiting for our wraps to be made, but the owner was nice to engage in conversation with us as she brought out samples of her smoothies for us which made up for the wait. I'm really digging the fact that this is a vegan place and I live for smoothies and I would love to see this place succeed because there are good people running this place, but due to the price and portion of the food, that would be a be factor on how often I could frequent this place. I think I'd probably come here for the smoothies more so than for the food.

It was my first time today and they let me try several of their smoothies, which were all very yummy! I ended up getting the kale smoothie, which is delicious. They were able to honor the gift card that I had and they were incredibly friendly and kind. I can't wait to come back and bring all my friends.

I'm a huge fan of WIYCC, as everything is fresh and delicious, buuuuut, I have a few gripes. All of the smoothies are pre-made, I'm assuming to save time. This is fine, but all but one have banana, which I despise. Luckily, the one I get is delicious, but it's filled with fruit and I would prefer one with vegetables. A large is $8, is pretty high for a mango and some coconut water...I guess I'll have to try a juice next time! It seems to take a while for a pre-made smoothie. Again, they are delicious, but I think they still need to work out a few kinks behind the counter. I haven't tried the food yet (they were out of a product that I was interested in), but would like to try it soon.

The smoothies here are amazing. We walked in and were greeted with smiles and delicious smells. Since it was our first time they readily served some samples! We tried the spinach lemonade, yum-me, and kale yeah. ALL THREE WERE DELICIOUS. We got the spinach lemonade and yum-me to go. We will definitely be back to try more. I think the spinach lemonade might be my favorite so far though!

A large Yum-Me smoothie! Very yummy, indeed!

What's In Your Cup has been open for about two months now, and am disappointed I have not been in yet to try it out sooner! From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a refreshing, delicious smell, and the owner, Sheryl's welcoming demeanor. I let her know I had never been in before, and she let me try an abundance of samples ranging from Kale-Yeah smoothie, Yum-Me smoothie , Black Bean Soup, and a refreshing lemonade. All were delicious, to say the least, and are all the owner's own recipe! I decided to order a Yum-Me smoothie, and while I waited I noticed there was a whole wall of vegan and clean eating literature behind me - which sparked up a conversation that everything on the menu is vegan. In addition to smoothies and raw juices, there are soups, dishes that can be made into a wrap or a salad, guacamole (Sheryl exclaimed it's the best - so I'll definitely be back to try!), as well as a few different types of salsas. The inside is incredibly clean, only the best ingredients are used here, and the staff is phenomenal. I promise you won't be disappointed - this is a place worth stopping in!

LOVE this place. Our order took a little too long, but the food was amazing, and they apologized with a free desert. Such wonderfully kind people. I will definitely be coming back!

Southwest burrito $12.25
Stone Z.

The burrito itself is tasty but it's suppose to be "$9.96" according to their website but I was charged $12.25. The burrito isn't as big as the pictures they've shown either, it's about the size of a dollar bill. They also threw in those fancy flaxseed chips? So it was over $2 more than what I thought and it was smaller than what I thought so it was kind of a let down. The inside is nice is just the price points are a bit much for me. They'd probably use the mostly organic thing to reason why it's so much. It seems more like a $6-8 burrito to me.

Such a cute spot. The ladies running the place are SO NICE. She let me sample the smoothies and made an incredible Southwest wrap! I highly recommend stopping in and will definitely return anytime I'm in the area. 100% vegan

Ask the Community - What's In Your Cup Cafe

What is the size of the wrap like? Is it meager or hefty in portion? Is it like the size of a Chipotle burrito?

It's totally appropriate. Not crazy big but not tiny either.

That intrigued me enough to revisit and try the drink out this past week. Thai Milk Tea, Small w/ Boba ($6.40) - As I was ordering, I was told that the sweetness couldn't be adjusted since the the tea was premade and mixed with sweetener. It's a little unfortunate, but it is what it is. On the first sip, the tea first starts with a somewhat dairy forward flavor, but immediately follows that up with an extremely roasted, smoky and somewhat astringent flavor of a very strongly brewed tea. About half a second later, an extreme sweetness floods the mouth but helps to balance out some of the smoky astringency. I'm not sure how they get it to be so smoky - I regularly brew Thai tea in an espresso machine and I've never gotten it to be so strong before. It's also much smokier than any Thai tea I've had in restaurants. The sweetness is a bit too much for me. After sipping a bit, I decided to save the rest for later and add some fresh brewed Thai tea to temper the sweetness down a bit. The boba this visit is a big improvement over my previous visit. This time, it's not rock hard; instead, the boba has a decent chew on the exterior while retaining quite a bit more firmness in the center. I found the boba to be a bit on the lumpier side and a little inconsistent in shape but it's not bad. Drink Rating: 3/5 Boba Rating: 3/5 I also asked for a small sample of the black tea. This is also pre-sweetened, probably on the order of 25% or 50% vs. a fully sweetened drink as compared to other boba shops. For my tastes, it actually right on the dot: not too sweet, which allows some of the natural tea fragrance to really be at the forefront of the drink without being drowned out. I honestly would get this tea as a milk tea without any additional sweetener added. Bobalee is a first mover into Ypsilanti. It's a very well run business, with friendly staff and great ambiance. As I mentioned in my previous review, this is a business that's worth supporting. Bathrooms - Single unisex room in the back.

It was a snowy afternoon so the customer volume was likely lower than usual at the shops of The Courtyard in Ann Arbor. The suite had a bright orange awning and about ten tables of various sizes for seating. Several power outlets were available along one wall for students to plug in their electronics and hang out because this business was across from a large college campus. Two self-service kiosks were at the counter where you could place an order. A menu board was hanging on the wall to the left for quick reference. Just drinks were served here as no food was offered. The categories were milk tea, fruit tea, slush, chocolate, yakult, macchiato, fresh milk, and tea. Six recommended choices with photos were listed at the top of the board. I selected the second one which was the Tropical Special. This drink was from the fruit tea category which was likely where I would have made a selection anyway. Passionfruit green tea with pearls and coconut jelly were the ingredients. I requested light ice and normal sweetness. The tea flavor wasn't strong, and the pearls were chewy and clumped together on the bottom of the cup. The jelly was extra filler that added more texture. The price was at least two dollars less than what I would have paid for a similar product at one of my local haunts. I gave a 3.5 star rating for my experience at CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice.
