If it's your dog's first time attending daycare, they will allow your dog to try it out for a few days to see if it's a great fit! There's no pressure to sign up which is great. I love that they have several cameras that are turned on during the day (Dogtopia turns their cameras off from 12-2) so that I can check on the dogs frequently. It puts me at ease knowing that they're safe and having a great time!

I have been taking my dog, a very sweet & calm cocker spaniel, to your facility for over 4 years…read morenow. I recently left him there for 5 nights while I was out of town, August 13 - 18, 2025. I picked him up and my dog is exhibiting fear based behaviors that include flinching, cowering and whining. I don't know what happened to him while under your care, I called to talk to someone on your staff, it was a male, hispanic. He didn't offer his title. He said he spoke to the staff but nothing out of the ordinary occurred that anyone could recall. I just now bent down to put on his leash and he flinched when I got near him. It breaks my heart that he's now acting this way. He is 11 years old and has never behaved this way. I just took him to the vet to get him examined and try to find out why he is acting this way. This dog never whines or is vocal. Please supervise your employees closely and make sure they are treating all of our animals with proper care. I don't have any proof that anything happened to my dog aside from his behavior after leaving the facility. I'm just stating my experience with my dog and your facility.

Unfortunately, I don't feel that learning curves covers how I picked him up on Tuesday. I chose this place through referral, and also customer review. My gal never had any issues utilizing this place previously. They have a good location, and their cost isn't too bad considering where it is. I had him in for 4 nights, and provided the food. and some treats. First recognition. I did get an email about him having stomach issues and diarrhea. I appreciate that notification. When I arrived to pick him up, I was waiting in the front and there was a lady (not sure if she's a manager or owner), and we chatted about his stay. She mentioned he was behaving a bit more aggressively and bullying a bit, and had to be kept from some of the other dogs. That, I completely understand. He's a big boi for a two year old, and we're still working on training some of those habits out. Fights and injuries were not mentioned. When they brought him out, he had marks on the bridge of his nose and his lip. This was not reported to me, and when I asked they said it may have been due to him being anxious in his cage. Except that they were not rubbing wounds, they are four puncture wounds. He also smelled atrociously, and required an immediate bath. He had brown stains on his legs and hind quarters. This man would not sit in his own stool unless he had to. If it wasn't his own, then the cage wasn't clean. And his breath smelled just as bad as what I had to wash off of him. If he wasn't allowed out with others, and was given his normal diet, his breath shouldn't have deteriorated to such a degree. When he came out of the door, he wasn't excited, he was fearful. While separation can be a traumatic experience, this wasn't that kind of emotion. We've been separated for weeks before, I know what that is like. Even after two days since pickup, he still not quite right after this experience. From a logical perspective of baseline customer service: 1. If my dog is bleeding from his face, you need to report it to me. 2. He shouldn't be covered in feces. 3. With my original inquiry, I and was told what may have happened. That doesn't work well for me. If he was separated, in a controlled environment, we should know exactly what happened. And no one should be covered in feces. Follow Up - I wrote to the facility, and they responded quickly both times. They apologized for his condition, and that protocol was not followed. Though it doesn't change my experience, I appreciate that. They were also nice enough to offer a credit, and grooming. Things aren't always perfect, I get it. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

I probably have been more complacent than I should have and stopped taking my dog there earlier. This last time, I reached out to PD to get an explanation of what happened to my dog, and was told I would be reached out to, but never was. I had been using Polka Dot for a few years, but it's definitely different than it was not too long ago. Sadly, we will not be coming back to Polka Dot, nor will I recommend anybody bring their dog there.

I dropped him off around 7am and picked him up around 5pm. He fell asleep in my arms on the way home so I think he had a great time. Groomer Anna will be my go to as long as I'm in Houston. She called me after she was done and we had a lovely conversation about training scottys.

My dog loves Molly's. The people there know every single dog and when we show up, they always say…read more"hi Daisy!" (They speak to her not me!) She loves it. When she sees her leash and we head to the car she starts jumping up and down over a foot off the ground she's so excited! She loves day care and has a best friend there. She is so well taken care of and we've started adding agility training a couple days a week. She's very skittish still around people from her life pre rescue, but she adores everyone at Molly's! She goes every day and if we don't take her, she is not happy with us! We really love it. It's been so good for her confidence and exposure to more people. This time, they reported a total of $120... UGH WHAT! I asked if the prices were yet again increased, and they told me the groomer tacked on a fee for "difficulty". Everyone my dog encounters is like "omg he's so calm", "he's so lazy", "I wish my dog behaved like Archie". This report of his behavior was totally surprising. Also, they never called me to tell me he was ready- I had to call after 7 hours to find he had just been sitting there ready. Hair cuts have been hit or miss. Go somewhere else- you don't know what you're going to get in quality or financially each time!

She didn't even offer to make it right for her mistake, all I got was the comment "at least he didn't starve". As I was preparing the payment she stood and waited as if she wasn't going to give me my dog if I disputed. When I got home, I realized that she also didn't follow the medication instructions properly as there was one pill that he should have taken but was sitting at the bottom of his bag--Not even in the pill organizer case that she encouraged me to buy. This business doesn't even deserve one star. If you care about your pets, please find another sitter.
