Dr. Kepner is an amazing doctor. It's rare for me to find any doctor, not just an eye doctor, who…read moreis so good at what they do. He asked great questions and really listened to my concerns, but he also took the time to explain everything thoroughly. I left my appointment feeling completely at ease with no worries or unanswered questions. His analysis during the eye exam was spot on. I've never gotten a new pair of glasses without them feeling at least a little off at first, usually with the doctor telling me my eyes would adjust over time. This was the first time I've put on new glasses and everything felt right immediately. I will recommend Dr. Kepner and this location to everyone I know. I was actually referred here myself, and even though it's a 35 min drive for me, it is totally worth it.

My daughter had an appt to have her prescription evaluated as she could not see clearly from her new glasses. Karen was annoyed and confused with her appt. Isn't part of a medical receptionist job to be cognizant of patients' visits - given she's the one who books the appointments? When Karen asked my daughter if it was an eye exam, she replied with I don't know, as she recently had a thorough eye exam. Why not ask her politely what my daughter requires / visit goal. Instead, Karen gives her an attitude, scoffs.. and while on a personal call, she belittles her, right in front of her! This type of behavior is not only unprofessional but disrespectful.

My experience with Dr. Ephraim was 5-stars across the board! He was timely, there was never any waiting, and it was overall an extremely pleasant, easy process. There was no puff of air (argh! thank goodness), yet he had technology that I've never had used on me from other places that was able to show detailed digital images of my eyes and its cones, etc. He prioritized both the health aspect of my eyes as well as the accuracy and optimization of the prescription which was exactly what I was hoping for. There was no pressure to buy glasses or contacts from them, which I appreciated. Dr. Ephraim was also super-personable and funny, and his staff was efficient and professional. I paid out of pocket because I didn't like the experience I had elsewhere, and it was worth it, but he does take multiple vision insurance providers. Note: I did originally have trouble connecting with them for an appointment and didn't get an answer the first couple times. I called a bit earlier and that helped to finally connect.

They replaced the nose pad with a cheap plastic version. I paid for them to order the nose pads that matched the frames. I noticed a small scratch on the lens later. They said the new nose pads would be there in 5-7 business days, and they would call. It's been over six weeks so I called. Got put on hold. Someone said they'd call but no information on when. I'm hoping that when I do get the proper nose pads, they can pop out the lenses rather than break them. They did inform me that if they did, that would be my problem. Hoping I can add an update and talk about the amazing customer service.

After I paid, I asked if vision screen test monitoring was used in place of dialation and was told it was not -- even after I asked optomitrist Toldedo Espiett about my eye health and was told all looked good. I asked if I could pay for the dilation test at that point and was told that I could not and that a whole other eye exam woud be needed all over again for another $159 in order to get screen dilation test. So am going elsewhere now and forever. This is dishonesty and highway robbery on the part of the optomitrist and on the part of Lenscrafters for choosing people that operate this way. I Will never ever go to any Lenscrafters again and advise not to use them!!!!

Every medical facility I go to requires payment for parking. This I find quite frustrating as we're already under stress from health challenges to have to worry about finding and paying for heaven knows how long. This facility is huge inside. Inside is conveniently located a pharmacy, an optical center and a spacious waiting lounge. There are various departments in the upper floors. I am here to accompany a friend and there's a reception desk with two attendants who are very friendly and efficient. My friend didn't have to wait long before she was called. The nurse was friendly and helpful as she took my friend in for her visit. From what I have seen here this is an efficient healthcare system and it's clean. Everyone I know who has this insurance is happy with the coverage.
