Like most of the other reviewers, I bought a Groupon for a remote starter from Wheel Dynamix. Without checking first, I had assumed they would be open on the weekends for me to drop in and get it installed (I live in Boston). Found out that they are not which meant I had to take time off work to come in. But everyone I spoke with was nice and very helpful. They told me that if I came in right at 8:45am, they'd have me out of there by 11am - AND I could use their wi-fi to work while I waited. Turns out my car was ready by 10am. It was a total win and extremely easier than I thought it would be. Was also chatting with another customer in the waiting area and she mentioned how uber picky her son was about any work that is done on his car. He researches the crap out of places before using their services (sounds like me!) and swears by this place so you know it's gotta be good. From speaking with Jeff and observing his team for the hour that I was there, it's clear to me that they care about both the customer and the work that they do. Highly recommend them! read more

I've been a customer since 2006 and am FINALLY getting around to recommending the work that Jeff and his professionals do at WD. I initially went for window tint and a clear film for my new Charger. Since then my family and I have gone back for wheels, tires, brakes, suspension, oil changes, detailing, and even just to "listen for a weird sound I'm hearing." Jeff is always forthright, honest (even when he refers me to another shop) and fair. We go at least twice a year to switch out the winter/summer tires and more for other services. I wanted a Class III (2" receiver) hitch on my 2016 Subaru, but the dealer will only install a Class II (1.25 receiver). For less than the cost of the dealer install, and at very competitive price with other nearby aftermarket installers, Jeff installed my Class III hitch. I've installed hitches before but since this required drilling and some cutting, I didn't want to deal with it. Wheel Dynamics did a very clean install, including a 4-flat trailer lighting adapter/connector. I offered to leave the vehicle for the day (asked for it back by mid-day if possible), and dropped it off when they opened, but they called me at 10:30am saying it was completed! Also, as requested, the drilled holes had been protected with calking. In retrospect I'm not surprised, as Jeff told me they do a lot of Subaru hitches. Why bother even commenting on a hole in the wall 1-2 bay car wash type operation next to scrap heap/insurance auto body shops? Who would expect a commentary about a misspelt company name (actually appropriate, since the word dynamics is socially general to something changing from one form to another under force)? It's not going viral to disclose that the sales/owner processes each customer with high $hmoozeability (mostly for late model/new money acessories like PIAA garbage bulbs, Weathertech mats "custom laser designed" for Dodge Hemi-Cudas and Nissan GT-R wheels at 4K each. If you have nonsensical amounts of money and like being sized up by a would be former policeman...no, more like DeCaprio in Wolf Of (Wheel) Street (scene with Leo reeling in and then sticking it to customer), well, here's your new World Of squirr-wheels..totally nuts. My almost complete stupidity was in putting up with being brushed off by this guy as if I were some scratch on paint. This was offset only by the sublet detailer having promised a very good to excellent job of detailing/removing surface scratches from my car. I could have paid $100 less somewhere else with Groupon, but I initially wanted to give my money to local business. I got to this shop after an app't about a month earlier, and was chided for being 15" late (not true-was clearing my car of valuables in full site of owner doing 'sell-arounds' with a suv and Mopar owner!! I was concerned at the borderline tactics of the owner, almost hiding the detailer from meeting me to make sure the right areas of paint were tended to. I may have hung on in hope the owner woul be responsible for my car post payment, but I discovered the driver's footwell kick space fuse door was missing. I emailed sev. X, but there was no reply. This part is probably $100 from a Lexus dealer, but I haven't gone to court on this, but the lack of fair and timely reply is obviously a sign as soon as I bloated Wheel Dynamics' wallet, they would be responsible for nothing onto themselves. You have been warned-and I"m saddened this company has, in almost 20 years, not put up dancing poles, smoke and mirrors-I guess they left that to all the endlessly positive reviews here. I have ordered a set of wheels and tires from an online store. When I installed them on my brand new car, I was getting very bad vibrations above 65. I found wheel dynamix using yelp and can honestly say that these guys are top notch. I am always paranoid to have people work on my vehicles, but they took care of my car like it was their own. I found Wheel Dynamix about 5 years ago. It's a great place for doing snow tires as they store them there and switch them for you every year to regular tires. I am from Manchester NH and couldn't find anyone close to me that does paint protection film that I had any confidence in. My local Acura dealer had a car in the showroom with paint film installed by a MA outfit and I knew right away I wouldn't be happy with it. I happened to find Wheel Dynamix by a chance referral and stopped in several times over a few months and Jeff and crew were very easy to deal with and helpful with my questions. As soon as I knew when I was picking my new car, Jeff was very accommodating, getting me in immediately for the X-Pel paint film as well as an exterior detail. The 48 hours that they had my brand new car was difficult, but I had complete confidence in them and I couldn't be any happier with the result. I have been having an issue with high speed wheel vibration for several years. I have talked with several mechanics over the years and unfortunately I was unable to find anyone capable of solving my issue. I actually work at a dealership and a person I work with referred me to Jeff at Wheel Dynamix. He immediately new exactly what the issue with my car was (after market steel wheels, hubs were not properly centered) and gave me an incredibly fair price on new wheels. I spoke to him and ordered the wheels on a Monday afternoon and he had my long standing issue resolved by the close of business Thursday. I have taken several long highway drives in the days since having my new wheels installed and my car now drives smooth as silk. They did a nice job mounting and installing my tires and wheels. They threw my old dirty rims in my car without putting down the blanket that I had left in the back seat specifically to shield the leather. It made a big mess. The Groupon is an absolute SCAM! They charge you more for the additional costs than what the groupon costs on it's own. When I called the place and asked questions a guy named Jamie hung up on me. So I went to get my after market rims put on by professional. They charged me $180.00. For just lug nuts and to mount them. Pricey but professional...... But the broke 2 of my studs on the right tier and one on both of my back tiers. And was gunna have me pay to fix them the next day...but I got all my studs fix and my wheels mounted for $100.00....
