Read on to learn more.... We came in to try and test out some e-bikes, but were not able to test anything as they have very little, to nothing, in stock. "Everything on the floor has been sold" we are told. Pretty much a don't touch kind of vibe... Kind of cold, but I get it, other peoples orders. We ordered 2 bikes anyway and paid $1000 to hold our place. They need the money down to help with order costs I was told. As we were ordering, I spoke about the tax rebate program Colorado is doing. The guy mentioned it was a rough burden on them as they had to front the cost and they had no ability to pre order any inventory. Explains the no-go on the test drive. I asked when we would get them and they said they get priority over ordering directly from Aventon's website, so about 3-4 week plus one week to build it. After waiting almost 2 months we call to find out where our bikes are as we have heard nothing from them. We were told they have have not even been ordered due to being out of stock?!? We were then told we will need to wait at least another month, or more, and that's IF they can get our order in. I get on Aventon's site and it says both bikes ARE in stock (Size and color), and will be shipped in just over a month if I order now. (I also checked a month and a half ago, when they were both in stock, and the site said I would have already got them from Aventon.) When I pointed that out trying to understand their process, they became oddly defensive and started to give are reasons why its bad to buy directly from Aventon, better to buy from them, you don't get the CO tax rebate from the website, and you need to wait. Very much a HA HA ,checkmate Mr customer kind of vibe..... So we sadly canceled the bike order and went elsewhere empty-handed. I guess we lucked out as I just saw Aventon increased their prices $200, as announced on their social media accounts, "due to ebike tariffs and increase in ocean freight". We had no documented price guarantee from anyone when we "ordered" the bikes, so we would have had to pay that increase. 1 star for a very disappointing experience.

I had been under the impression that I could ride a regular bike in Gatden of God's but it is…read morereally hilly. In my former triathlon life I could have done it but electric assist is more appropriate, especially in 45° weather. So I called after they closed but the owner picked up and helped me reserve 2 beach cruiser type bikes for the next morning. We were staying at Buffalo Lodge which is an affiliate so he bought the bikes to us. That was super convenient so we could leave our car at the lodge. We had a thorough instruction course and test ride and off we went. The bikes were well maintained and had good power. Comfortable and operated nicely. 2 hour rental was sufficient to see everything, explore a little and take lots of photos. There was a bag on the bike large enough to hold a jacket, snacks, lock, and the complimentary water. We were instructed to leave the bikes locked at our lodge and give the key to the front desk. Easy from start to end. Highly recommend.

Their $100 tune up should include brake bleed, derailleur adjustment and wash. When I picked up my…read morebike they charged me $125 for the service and couldn't explain why I was charged the extra $25. After taking the bike out on my first ride I still had the same issues I was having: Bad shifting Bad brakes (still needed to be bled and I needed to replace pads) The second ride after their tune up: my chain snapped. Paid for a new chain, went on a third ride: derailleur cable snapped. Took bike in to see why these issues weren't addressed during "tune up." I was charged $25 to put in a new cable and after that was installed, my bike still didn't shift properly. I ended up bleeding my brakes, changing my own pads, installing my own chain and adjusting my own derailleur after spending $150 on a $100 tune up that was basically just a bike wash. I can service my own bike, but I took it to a shop because I thought it'd be a better use of my time and money (I work 50+ hours a week). That was a mistake. I would give them 1 star based on my experience, but they are veteran owned and nice enough people.
