They really go above and beyond with the quality of care and customer service you'll receive. The store is very clean, nicely decorated, and arranged. Their assortment of glass frames offerings are brightly displayed across a center island, side walls, and windowed cases in the back. The store is nestled in the shopping plaza across from The Source OC (so you can go across to enjoy some great food and shopping while you're in the area/waiting for your order to finish). As soon as I walked in, Minnie, the optometrist, welcomed me with a bright smile and warm greeting. Throughout the process, she was very professional, friendly, informative, and polite. I really appreciated that they didn't pressure me into anything and were quite transparent with everything they were recommending and doing for me. After settling on the lenses and frames, they offered me water and coffee as they quickly got to work on my order (placing in the buy orders, working on coverage with my insurance company, etc.). Since I have pretty horrid vision, they needed to order custom lenses (which is why it took a few days to get it in). I appreciated that they were able to get me a great price on these fantastic glasses (anti-scratch coating, UV blocking, blue light blocking, and lightweight frame). I also appreciated the thoroughness of their care - Minnie offered a demonstration of how effectively my glass lenses blocked blue light/UV rays, checked and rechecked the centering and comfort of the glass frame on my face, and sent me home with complimentary glass cleaner sprays bottles and soft clothes. With this kind of service and care, I'll be back for more of my vision care needs!

I had a very unusual experience at this office…read more After calling several highly rated optometry offices in the area, I couldn't find anyone who could accommodate two walk-in appointments for my children. This office was able to see both of them immediately, so I decided to give it a try. The office was empty when we arrived, and both the front desk staff and the optometrist were very kind. We were told that my daughter was slightly farsighted and my son was slightly nearsighted, so we picked out frames for both children. When it came time to pay, I was told my daughter's glasses would be $250 ($150 for frames and $100 for lenses) and a similar amount for my son, but would give me discount so it was $460 total. I was then instructed to pay $460 upfront and was told I should receive a reimbursement check from VSP in about four weeks. This process felt unusual to me, but I paid and left. Later, my husband asked me to obtain copies of the prescriptions in case we wanted sports glasses for our son. When I called the office, I was told they do not provide prescriptions. Instead, they offered to refund $50 per child so I could take them elsewhere for an eye exam and prescription, while still purchasing the glasses through their office. I asked multiple times why they could not provide the prescriptions and never received a clear explanation beyond being told that they simply could not. Since I didn't want to take my children to a second office just to obtain prescriptions, I requested a full refund. To their credit, they were very polite throughout the entire process and promptly canceled the $460 charge without any argument. However, I left confused about why prescriptions were unavailable after the eye exams and uncomfortable with the overall experience. While everyone was friendly, something about the process did not feel right to me. That was my experience, and I hope it helps other parents make an informed decision.
