Was referred here by a friend. Came in after contacting the store and confirmed they had my prescription. I came in, dropped off, and was told to return in 20 minutes (TWENTY). That is insanely fast. I grabbed a coffee and came back. Lo and behold my glasses were done. We spent a few minutes making sure everything fit well and then I was off on my way. Very nice and helpful owner! I got a pair of glasses from Happyeye couple months ago, and got so many compliments ever since. The lenses only took 20 minutes to be done. So we just went to the food court to grab a bite, and after we finished eating, the glasses were ready. We did find defects on the original frame I got here, but luckily we double checked before we left the parking lot. We went back in and owner gave me a new pair right away. I am a recent and new prescription eyeglass wearer and after having spent nearly $500 for a pair (with insurance) at my new eye doctor, I wasn't ready to spend again in that ballpark for a backup pair. Queue in Happy Eye. The owner was so kind and helpful. He had sooooooo many selections and frame Thor that it made it almost impossible to narrow down to one pair when they all look good on haha (not a bad problem to have). In the end I did settle on one and walked away with a $119 spend for the frame and custom prescription lens , all without insurance. Very happy and great costumer experience. With some of the best UV protection, you get what you pay for. SOme are expensive, but they will benefit you in the long run. People that work here are cool. Came by this place because saw their business card at one of the restaurants I frequent at. Ted I believe is the owner. Such a friendly person. I had some frames that I had brought at another establishment. I have been waiting for months to get them filled, due to having the wrong prescription initially and other Costco didn't want to fill because of the brand of frames. Usually other optical places do not like to fill in prescription. But Ted was so kind and help me put new lenses on my existing frames. Thank goodness he had them in stock. I got my frames within less than an hour, granted I went on a week day. He also had a variety of other frames that I will take a look into when I'm ready for new frames. This is my second time coming here and I got prescription glasses this time :) My first time, I came and picked up regular sunglasses and I love how the glasses fit and frame my face! It's hard to find glasses that work for my lower nose bridge and this store definitely has lots of options for Asian faces. The owner/optician is a friendly and great guy who's super helpful and knowledgeable. He finished my prescription glasses around 40-50mins and cleaned and adjusted them for me after. Not only do they offer a free eyeglass cleaning for you they have quite a variety of glasses/sunglasses to choose from as well, and the prices are pretty decent too. I can't remember his name at the moment, (so sorry if you're reading this) but the person in charge is really nice! And the best part is depending on what you get, you can quite possibly get your glasses done that same day! I went to get new eyeglasses there and he said he'll get them done in 30 minutes. I recently bought my new glasses here and have been really satisfied so far. If you need to buy it without the long process that you should make an appointment for checking your eyes in advance as you know this place is perfect spot! Like South Korea you can visit there, check your vision and can buy it. Unless you want to buy special lenses for your glasses, you might be able to have yours within couple of hours or a day which is incredibly convenient unlike other places. The owner is Korean and super kind and knowledgeable also he got a lot of fancy glasses, descent but cheaper and had a keen eyes to recommend it for you. I will definitely revisit there for my daughter cus she got a super bold and thick lenses at another optician which made her eyes much smaller and sad so I will buy a new one to bring her sparkling eyes back at here! read more

I was browsing around the Source OC with my boyfriend and we came across Happy Eye. My boyfriend was in need of new glasses so we decided to stop by for a look. It's a TINY shop so we didn't expect much going in... but we were pleasantly surprised at the quirky decor and the selection of eyewear. There's a lot of trendy Korean sunglasses and glasses frames that you can't get from other regular American eyewear stores. At the time we went, there was a special promotional so all the frames were super affordable, especially for their quality/style. The owner/optician was a very friendly gentleman. He was warm and friendly, but did not pester us and let us browse by ourselves. He even took my boyfriend's current glasses to clean them up for him. We both ended up getting new frames! The process was super easy and quick! My boyfriend had his glasses ready by the next day, and mine was ready in less than a week (despite the gentleman having to order a specific pair of lenses for mine). He was so nice, professional, and offered suggestions when necessary without pressuring us to purchase anything. Important note though: he is not very good at English, so there may be a bit of a communication barrier for more complex topics (like my boyfriend and I were asking a bunch of questions that required more specialized language to respond).
