Hired Wheelers to perform a simple HVAC system inspection for both the furnace and the A/C. This was a duplex so there are a natural gas furnace and A/C unit on each side. Technician spent about 5 min inspecting the furnace in the crawl space and another 10 min looking at the A/C unit outside. Same time spent on the second unit as well. I asked the technician how he verified the coolant charge in the A/C and he said if he turns it on and it gets cold it's acceptable. For this they charged me $230. Seriously? I would expect actual professionals to have checked with a refrigerant pressure gauge set. Grossly overcharged for inferior service. Will never use these clowns again. read more

Just wanted to mention that Dillon and his brother were very nice. The company is honest and very upfront. We ended up buying a new condenser unit and was told not to spend the money from a luxury one. Their reasoning was great and saved us a butt ton of money. I will continue to use them in the future. Highly recommend. Also, please watch out for the A/c places that try to price gouge you. I had one company try to charge $200 for putting nitrogen in the system so they could solder the tubes. I trust Wheeler's. Just yesterday I called with an emergency, the a/c had gone out at my rental property and the compressor is over 20 years old. Any other company would tell me to replace it, but Brian replaced the capacitor and had it running in 20 minutes. Brian and Jeremiah have both been amazing. They can fix just about anything and won't try to sell you a more expensive solution. We met both owners that worked on our outside AC unit, they sourced an identical type to replicate our system for ease of use. Woke up to our AC not working during the hottest week in July. Wheeler Plumbing, Heating and Cooling was recommenced by our neighbor who recently had worked done on their ac unit. When I called to schedule, the lady who answered was very upbeat, friendly and scheduled was quick and easy. The next week, Brian came out to service the ac unit. He was friendly, knowledgable and honest. Brian was able to diagnose the problem fairly quick and didn't pressure us with sale pitches (as we have experienced with other companies). My realtor referred me to Wheeler's several years ago when the blower motor went out on my furnace. I liked that they tried to come up with the most affordable way to fix it rather than just pushing a new unit on me, even thought that was an option. The motor they replaced for me went out again after 2 years. The owner said that was not right that it didn't last longer but the part wasn't under any warranty at that point so he offered me a really good deal on getting another one installed at just their cost of another motor if that's what I wanted, to make it right. I was happy to be given this option since I didn't have the money for a new furnace in the budget then. The newest motor has been running well ever since. I had a problem with the heat pump on my AC/Heater last July. The fan quit working so I thought the heat pump would have to be replaced. I checked Yelp for reviews and found Wheeler's so I gave them a call. I spoke with Jeremiah who had me do one simple thing to find out if the pump was shot. We determined it was only a capacitor that needed to be replaced which he did the following morning. I got a follow up call and email after that to make sure we were pleased with the repairs. These guys are great and I will be using them again in the future with any more heating/ac problems. read more

I was first introduced to this company by my home warranty company. Since then, I have used them independently for my heat and AC and they are always incredibly helpful, quick, friendly, and explain things to me in terms that I actually understand. My home has a heat coil (???) heating system which almost nobody in the state of Colorado was able to diagnose/service, but Wheelers knew and helped me out with all questions/etc. Jeremiah (owner??) also took time out of a holiday weekend to connect with me and ensure he got me an appointment ASAP so I could get my units serviced to put the home on the market.
