I really liked this place and I was happy that fellow Yelp reviewers had posted about how to place orders (grab a bag from the wall and circle the sandwich and ingredients that you want, then hand it to the person at the counter. My sandwich was made just the way I ordered it and it was so good. I got a club with mayo and pesto. The pesto was a little much so next time I'm gonna go lighter on it or just opt for mayo. But boy what a disappointment, the sandwich was nothing like their pictures. The sandwich I received? I fell in love with Which Wich when I lived in San Diego so when I was in the Tigard area and looking for lunch, I definitely knew where to go. They have specialty sandwiches they you can choose from or opt for the build your own. How it works is when you enter, on their walls are brown paper bags with lists of their ingredients. You mark your name on top and check all the ingredients you want. Go to the counter, pay, and they make your sandwich on the spot. I ordered their BLT with avocado and customized it to include black olives, banana peppers, spinach, crunchy onions, mayo and no tomatoes. OMG yum it was so good. They're also happy to offer utensils and additional condiments - you just gotta ask. Service was friendly and quick. On Wednesdays, they have a featured sandwich for just $5. I love this place. And conveniently located in the same plaza as Walmart with plenty of parking. read more

This place used to be really good A couple of years ago. I ordered the wicked which has five types of meat three cheeses and all the condiments and Extras you can imagine. For $13.30 this sandwich was entirely all bread. With inflation at an all-time high, I found this to be ridiculous. Not the high quality and quantity that they used to have. Wandered into Wich Which after a quick trip to WalMart. Never heard of or been here before and I was pleasantly surprised. I was a little confused at first with the ordering system, but after a few mins I ended up figuring it out. Sandwich was $6.50 for a regular. There wasn't much savings in ordering a larger size so I stuck to tbe regular incase I didn't like it. Lots of yummy toppings with good variety. All in all, I liked the proportions of meat, cheese, veg, and bread. Bread had a nice crust to it but wasn't overly bready. Sandwiches had that banh mi quality to it not typical of deli subs. I don't normally leave reviews, but this is one of the worst place I've eaten from in my life. I couldn't believe a food establishment could be so bad, so I went back a second time to see if it was a fluke. It wasn't. I'll give the breakdown: There are cards you fill out with the selections of ingredients you want and hand that card to the cashier. They basically ignored my selections and gave me random ingredients. They slide your card back in your bag when they call your name - I had to double check and see if maybe I messed it up, but I didn't, it was just hilariously wrong. Double meat might as well be a "tip" for the restaurant. You aren't getting anything extra. I ordered two sandwiches each to compare, and there wasn't a difference. I wouldn't recommend eating inside the restaurant - I took mine home. The Tigard location doesn't have proper ventilation, so the place is filled with heavy smoke that you'll smell like for the rest of the day. Just waiting for a few minutes in there was enough to give me a headache for hours afterwards. I would actually recommend trying this place at least once to experience how comically horrendous the whole experience is. You'll remember it forever. ahhhhh Yeah! I'm so glad this chain made it up here to Portland Metro. The first time I had Which Wich, was during my numerous trips down to Albuquerque, NM. I stopped in and had WhichWich one day for lunch by the campus down there. It was quick and tasty, and reasonably priced! I think the Chain is more known in the Southern part of the United States; I met a lady from Tallahassee a few months ago that cited WhichWich and their bag sliding down the clothes line with clothes pins. Regardless, I'm glad they finally made it up to my region! And, like many reviewers have said, it is another option besides subway and Jimmy John's, it's always nice to have a good variety! Last week when I tried the Tigard location for the first time, I was a little disoriented with selecting the sandwich as well as selecting toppings to go on it. But, by the time I stepped back inside to order a 2nd sandwich to go for my hubby, I had the hang of it, ordering a black Bean patty with yummy toppings to go! This location was super convenient for me as well, I did the Opal Creek Hike (east of Salem) earlier that day, and then made a quick stop at the Bridgeport Farmer's Market for my fav chocolate shop (Candy Apothecary), and by that time as I was heading home, traffic was in full-Force so I was able to take that quick exit off 217 (exit #7) and go relax at Which Wich instead of sitting in traffic. And, lucky for us, there outdoor patio was deserted that evening, so it was easy to grab a table with an umbrella and fasten my dog, Remy, and so we could both relax and eat in comfort. read more

My brother ordered a sandwich with meat by mistake, but they made a new one free of charge! I am very pleased with the customer service. They were operating under all the Covid-19 guidelines from what I observed. Everyone had masks and social distancing was practiced. Tried this place out of curiosity and definitely was impressed. The bread is more like flat bread but it tastes really good. I'd say it's just a little less than Jersey Mike's but not by much. Their fry machine wasn't working so I couldn't try the fries but had chips instead. The biggest drawback is the cost. Their prices were even higher than Jersey Mike's so don't be shocked when you see the total. A sandwich with drink and chips will be around $15 at the least. The kids meals come with carrot sticks, apple slices, a drink, and M&Ms. I ordered the roll ups for my kid. The picture online made them look like rolled tortillas filled with melted cheese or something, but what they ended up being was provolone cheese (?) wrapped like a taco shell around a piece of lunch meat. Another way Which Wich differs from Subway is instead of picking your toppings by pointing to them behind the glass, you fill out a paper bag questionnaire of what you want in your sandwich. Then you give your paper bag to the employee. They assemble your sandwich, and then stick it in the paper bag. Covid: The restaurant offers outdoor seating and indoor seating. The staff wear masks. The only negatives: 1. the tables should be kept cleaner; since seating is so limited due to social distancing, there aren't many seating options to choose from. 2. The prices are expensive compared to similar restaurants. Each sandwich costs about $9, and that's not even including a drink or chips. It'd be nice if Which Wich showed their prices on their online menu. It'd also be nice if their receipts showed the things I purchased, instead of just showing the total price I paid. read more

Not only was my sandwich wrong and completely covered in mildewy/old vegetables, but it also came with a side of assault on their female employees! I've come here multiple times and EVERY TIME I've seen the same young male employee physically assault 2 other female employees while recklessly flying through the kitchen in the back. I reported this the first time to another associate. The second time I ordered I talked to an employee AGAIN only to find out he constantly does this. Meaning the management already knows this and just allows it to happen. They allow a reckless employee to punch someone in the face while reaching for something and throw a KNIFE towards them (all while making my order) and then yell at the other employee for not moving. I witnessed this abuse happen and this man is still apparently not reprimanded for his actions. I'd much rather give my money to Subway and Jimmy John's than I would a company that allows abuse to happen, especially right in front of customers. This is absolutely disgraceful. read more

Oh Which Which, how you disappointed me. I've eaten at one before and have anxiously waited months for the Tigard store to open. At last, today was my chance to go in for the delicious Caprese sandwhich! There were only 2 customers in front of me, I was actually surprised there weren't more customers in line. But, Apparently you can order online in advance. There were multiple orders that came through (it was noon, after all). One order contained 27 sandwiches! I understand that ordering online is a modern convenience, however, it shouldn't be a total inconvenience to those of us planning to order and enjoy our sandwiches in store. Here's my thinking- a) don't allow online or call-in orders over 10 sandwiches. Many similar restaurants require 24 hour notice for larger orders. B) make 2 or 3 from the online order then make one of the in-store orders, 2 or 3 more then an in-store order. That way you don't have grumpy customers sitting there waiting for quite as long. Back to today... I finally get my sandwhich and it's been 28 minutes from order time to sandwhich in hand. My infant has eaten her bottle and is falling apart so I take my sandwhich to go instead. Finally get home, get the baby down for a nap and unwrap the sandwhich I have now waited months, 28 minute, and a car ride home for. What do I find? My caprese sandwhich (Mozarella, tomato, pesto) has no Mozarella. It has provolone. I'm guessing the young lady who made my sandwhich doesn't know the difference between sliced provolone and Mozarella balls. Major fail. It's like getting a tuna sandwhich made with roast beef instead. It should be noted that customers were openly complaining and getting visibly frustrated. There appeared to be no manager or "person in charge" to address the issue. In my opinion, these are just lost customers. A manager apologizing and handing out free cookies, for example, could have easily lifted the mood and tone of the experience. Sad day. I'll likely give it a month or so before trying again.
