    simple breakfast

We were frequent customers of Biscuits Cafe but recently we stopped by due to my son loving the pancakes, this used to be our go to spot in the neighborhood but the prices have skyrocketed over the past year to a level well above the other local breakfast spots. The service is also a little spotting at times. Most of the employees are nice enough but they seem very busy and do not have a high level of customer service. Food cost was surprising we order a pancake breakfast with eggs and bacon, it was 17 bucks if not more, I searched the menu for a basic breakfast, the least expensive was 14 bucks without a drink, when I included a drink it was 17 bucks, nearly 40 bucks for two of us, this seems very unreasonable. I really do not like going to a fastfood place but I was really taken back from the pricing. My son loved his pancakes, I had two eggs, two sausages and hash brown, the first hash browns were nuked, hard, I had to ask for a much less overcooked set, they happily took my plate to replace the hashbrowns, about 10 min later the waitress stopped by to check on our table and I asked if she could see if she would check on the hashbrowns and if they were not able to accommodate the request to cancel my order, my son was nearly done with this meal. Thankfully the waitress brought my food to me, it look like it had been sitting for a while, the eggs were cold as well as the sausages. I learned my lesson, I will not be back to support this business. I hope they are successful, they have many locations in the area, I will be supporting other local breakfast spots going forward.

Excellent friendly service and our food came out pretty fast! We love that there are so many options on the menu for whatever you are feeling that day. There are build your breakfast options so you can add a lil of everything. Trust me you won't leave hungry! Adult drink beverage options are great as well for the brunchin' days! Today I tried the spicy chorizo omelette with loaded hash browns for the win. We did start with the fresh made cinnamon roll and it was super squishy.

Server never really spoke to me, very quiet and uncomfortable. He brought me water and menu, I ordered and waited 28 minutes for my food. I expected long wait given Sunday after church and busy restaurant so I waited. I got my food and instead of a runny yolk I got a runny white. And this weird meat looking stuff under the egg when I don't eat meat. They didn't check on me until I finished the other egg and some of the hashbrowns and asked how it was and I said alright and he didn't reply just looked at me like I was the problem? I got my check and left. Hollandaise was nice but hard to enjoy when raw whites ran across your plate

I've been in Oregon for the past two weeks and haven't had a chance to get out of bed early enough to enjoy a good breakfast. I was doing a search for nearby breakfast and came across Biscuits Cafe. Inspite of all the negative reviews, I wanted to experience this place myself and give my honest feedback. When we arrived, we had to wait for maybe 10-12 min before we were seated as they were short-staffed. There is a message on their chalkboard that indicated this as well so no big deal. As soon as we were seated, we promptly placed our orders. The food came out in a decent time. My wife had the corn beef hash, daughter had waffles and I had the Almond French toast. I didn't get a chance to take a photo of the other dishes as I was mostly fixated on my quest for a French toast. I enjoyed the slight crunch and bits of almonds in the French toast. The texture wasn't soggy or dry- it came out perfect just the way I wanted it to. I complimented my meal a small serving of maple syrup in a mini glass pitcher, a small scoop of butter along with my choice of scrambled eggs and sausage links. The waitress was nice as well as our hostesses who entertained us. They were all friendly and pleasant with smiles all around. The location is less than a few miles from home. I think I'll be back again in the future. One tip if you're planning to go back on Scholls Ferry Road- if you go back down the hill behind the restaurant, you'll be able to head back up to the stop light just passed the roundabout. If you take the other direction you can only make a right on Scholls Ferry as there is an island preventing any left turns.

When I got to the place, I waited a long time for the waiter to come. The food was so good though!

Food: 1. I ordered a panini and to my surprise it looked more like a regular sandwich that was not that warm. It looked like their normal cold sandwiches and not warm and barely crisp/crunchy as a panini would be. The fries were amazing though, loved it! 2. Eggs benedict. I got their regular eggs benedict and that was good! The potatoes were also wonderful and I think I enjoyed this more than the panini personally.

The fruit and yogurt were pleasantly sweet. The avocado toast has a balsamic relish on it that is deliciously savory! Hubby had the chicken fried steak... Too boring for me but he enjoyed it. Coffee was great and our server, Diana, was equally wonderful! My only note to the manager is the ceiling panel was flapping and could possibly be dripping fiberglass below. You probably want to fix that soon. Thanks for a truly great breakfast!

I got the Pork & Pineapple (comes w/ bacon and basil) (I substituted my bacon for fresh sliced tomatoes). It looked good enough to eat (but, I definitely didn't taste as good and, I wouldn't get it again and, the topping slid right off)! The way it was described verses the way it was prepared I give it a 0/5 (I thought if it set for a minute it would get better forgot the basil so it was thrown on after it was cooked)! The Beef Stroganoff was delicious and the chose of noodles really brought the dish together. Chicken Avocado Swiss (it should have been a veggie burger (literally) the chicken was so thin and, it was way too much bread. Their drinks were really good as well. Service~First Timers~I wanted to view photos and reviews but, my husband wanted to really try it anyways (but, for some reason they block your WiFi allow you to connect to theirs and, it still didn't work). Our waitress was very nice, attentive, and, helpful with recommendations. I should've created my own pizza but, I like to try it the way it's presented if It's my first time trying an establishment. The best part of the experience was the service from Kennedy as a quality member of the Ridge team. Kennedy was very attentive and friendly throughout our visit! At one point, Kennedy offered our party an extra pour of spirits that was accidentally made by the bar staff. It was comped so that it wouldn't go to waste... what a thoughtful, very unexpected gesture! Thanks Kennedy I had a phenomenal first visit that left a very strong impression related to service and food. I'll definitely be back!
