Came here on a whim to try the French toast flight and it did not disappoint! We had 4 different kinds of French toasts to try. Presentation was excellent and so yummy! Some of the strawberries were frozen though.. We also got the country omelet that comes with choice of hash browns or red potatoes and biscuit, toast, or pancakes as a side. Delish! I asked for the gravy on the side. 4/5 stars due to each entree costing about $19+, which was a little pricey in our opinion. Staff were so friendly and checked in on us often. We were frequent customers of Biscuits Cafe but recently we stopped by due to my son loving the pancakes, this used to be our go to spot in the neighborhood but the prices have skyrocketed over the past year to a level well above the other local breakfast spots. The service is also a little spotting at times. Most of the employees are nice enough but they seem very busy and do not have a high level of customer service. Food cost was surprising we order a pancake breakfast with eggs and bacon, it was 17 bucks if not more, I searched the menu for a basic breakfast, the least expensive was 14 bucks without a drink, when I included a drink it was 17 bucks, nearly 40 bucks for two of us, this seems very unreasonable. I really do not like going to a fastfood place but I was really taken back from the pricing. My son loved his pancakes, I had two eggs, two sausages and hash brown, the first hash browns were nuked, hard, I had to ask for a much less overcooked set, they happily took my plate to replace the hashbrowns, about 10 min later the waitress stopped by to check on our table and I asked if she could see if she would check on the hashbrowns and if they were not able to accommodate the request to cancel my order, my son was nearly done with this meal. Thankfully the waitress brought my food to me, it look like it had been sitting for a while, the eggs were cold as well as the sausages. I learned my lesson, I will not be back to support this business. I hope they are successful, they have many locations in the area, I will be supporting other local breakfast spots going forward. read more

Coffee is good, don't enjoy opening the packaged creamers. Large menu with tons of options. I really like that you can choose your own adventure with the pick three or four options. Server never really spoke to me, very quiet and uncomfortable. He brought me water and menu, I ordered and waited 28 minutes for my food. I expected long wait given Sunday after church and busy restaurant so I waited. I got my food and instead of a runny yolk I got a runny white. And this weird meat looking stuff under the egg when I don't eat meat. They didn't check on me until I finished the other egg and some of the hashbrowns and asked how it was and I said alright and he didn't reply just looked at me like I was the problem? First time trying out a Biscuits Cafe and there were so many things. First off, this restaurant is like elevated fast food. Or... fast food with a server. A really lovely and kind, albeit kinda slow, server. Anyway, I got chicken fried steak breakfast with sourdough toast because it was $19 and basically so was everything else on the menu, so it was the biggest bang for the buck, nutrition-wise. I'll start with the smallest grievance to biggest. Here's the low down: Eggs... perfect. Coffee... way too strong/acidic. Upset my tum. Sourdough toast... this is NOT real sourdough. Maybe should have gotten a biscuit. Although, my brother got a biscuit... since it's what their claim to fame is, and it wasn't even a real, flaky, southern style biscuit. More like bread or cake. This seems to be the norm in the PNW and I'm not a fan. Hashbrowns.... what hashbrowns??? I think they gave me 1/4 of a small potato. But... bonus points for not being greasy. Steak... small, frozen, and pre-fab on par with Denny's. Bonus points for not being a dry hockey puck. Country gravy... this was the biggest travesty on the plate. Whoever is cooking here DOES NOT know how to make gravy. The roux, if they even used one, was not fried AT ALL. It tasted like, and had a mouth feel of, straight flour. Overall, with a tip this cost $28 and was worth about half that. I swear to god I'm getting to the point where I'm not going to tip anyone, anywhere, ever again unless I get a meal worthy of the price tag and great service... it's just not worth it anymore. I rarely go out to eat anymore as it is and then to pay for crap food is just a massive disappointment. Sorry, Biscuits Cafe.... I won't be back to any of your locations. read more

I am a strict vegan and can rarely find good breakfast food outside of Portland. Biscuit's Cafe is amazing. I was thrilled that they had oat milk for my coffee. They have two vegan menu options. I got the vegan French toast with two "eggs" and "sausage." It was delicious!!! The service was quick and personable. Our server, Chelsea, was efficient and delightful. I've been in Oregon for the past two weeks and haven't had a chance to get out of bed early enough to enjoy a good breakfast. I was doing a search for nearby breakfast and came across Biscuits Cafe. Inspite of all the negative reviews, I wanted to experience this place myself and give my honest feedback. When we arrived, we had to wait for maybe 10-12 min before we were seated as they were short-staffed. There is a message on their chalkboard that indicated this as well so no big deal. As soon as we were seated, we promptly placed our orders. The food came out in a decent time. My wife had the corn beef hash, daughter had waffles and I had the Almond French toast. I didn't get a chance to take a photo of the other dishes as I was mostly fixated on my quest for a French toast. I enjoyed the slight crunch and bits of almonds in the French toast. The texture wasn't soggy or dry- it came out perfect just the way I wanted it to. I complimented my meal a small serving of maple syrup in a mini glass pitcher, a small scoop of butter along with my choice of scrambled eggs and sausage links. The waitress was nice as well as our hostesses who entertained us. They were all friendly and pleasant with smiles all around. The location is less than a few miles from home. I think I'll be back again in the future. One tip if you're planning to go back on Scholls Ferry Road- if you go back down the hill behind the restaurant, you'll be able to head back up to the stop light just passed the roundabout. If you take the other direction you can only make a right on Scholls Ferry as there is an island preventing any left turns. read more

We have been going to this location for years and used to love it here. But, the overall quality of this place has gone downhill in recent months. Prices have gone up, and portion sizes have gone down considerably. My husband's go-to omelet usually fills his whole plate, but today, it barely filled half of it. Nickel and diming for any extras or changes. We get inflation, but paying more for so much less is not cost reduction, it's price gouging. Almost $50 plus tip for two people is a lot for so little. The silverware is flimsy, the food seems greasier, and the bathrooms are sticky. The staff seems to bust their ass in vain, and the turnover is sad. We want to give it one more chance, in hopes that the owners realize this is how you lose loyal customers. read more

It comes as half a portion of waffle. It was topped off with maple cream sauce and bacon bits. The combination of everything tasted great together. I got it with red potatoes on the side and the potatoes were cooked really good and tasted great. Also tried the County Benedict and that was pretty tasty. The gravy, sausage and egg was a great combination. Tried their Biscuits Premium Roast Coffee and it was not a good at all. It tasted really watered down and old. Service: YIKES! We walk in an 1hr-130hr before they are supposed to close and one of the waitresses yells over to the cook to ask wether he wants to cook one more order. After about five or so minutes of them going back and forth they finally decide to not turn us away and seat us. Got seated, looked over the menu, was ready to order. No server ever came to us. We waited about 10-15mins before I got up and let them know that we were ready to order. The girl that took our order was flustered, kept forgetting what we ordered and was just all over the place. I felt really sick to my stomach after having a vegan breakfast here. I thought it could be the oil. So I called and see that they use a very low quality oil both on the hash browns and what they spray the waffle iron with. Full of chemicals. I should of asked before I ordered anything. I would of not got anything with oil in it. When are these chain restaurants going to get a clue and just use high quality olive oil or sesame oil. Will not be a customer at this place again. Also they just brought out the hash browns first and set them in front of me and then later the gluten free waffle and vegan sausage. That felt strange as well. Disappointed overall. Which oils should be avoided? The oils which should be avoided for cooking are oils like soybean, corn, canola, sunflower, and safflower. These oils have unstable fats and will decimate the nutritional properties of your food. Oh, and they'll give you a big fat health risk in the meantime. (Shame on them.) read more

i dont think this place deserves the low reviews that it has! i was never really a fan from the times ive tried ordering delivery from here, possibly bc some things didnt pack so well/wasnt fresh when it arrived - but dining in was such a better experience overall! we waited for around 20 minutes on a sunday around noon for a table and took a nice stroll around the area. they were pretty busy and shortstaffed, but service was still great regardless. we ordered the avocado eggs benedict, and chorizo omlet. they both came with a good amount of hash browns (or the side of your choice). the hash browns were nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. its great that they have the condiments ready to go for you at the table! (although one or two of them were past the expiration date, so make sure to check!) all in all, a solid breakfast/brunch place to go to. good portions for the price and the food came out fairly quickly. read more

Potatoes are pre-prepared with onions for flavor however easily picked out if you dislike chewing onions like me. I ordered hashbrown, however next time I'll definitely get potatoes. I had Almond French toast, and egg whites. I added salt to taste, so if you need low salt these are good without adding. Just as we remembered the old location in Beaverton that we used to go to. This one is closer to Progress Ridge and newer. But the food is the same and the staff were great. I dropped a star because I wouldn't say it was the best breakfast but it is more if what you expect from a typical breakfast restaurant. Eggs, breakfast meats, pancakes, French toast, waffles and so forth. They didn't ask for my rewards number so I'm having to reach out to corporate to try and add that. Came back after a couple of months break. My daughter ordered the cinnamon roll French toast & hot chocolate. I just had a glass of Fresh Grapefruit juice. See attached: Notice the word fresh before orange and grapefruit. This gives the impression that these juices are fresh squeezed, or apparently the Apple juice is not fresh? Seems petty, but it's $5. Hot chocolate was not cold & diluted. But this was quickly corrected. As the table next to us was leaving, the paper holding the napkin around the silverware fell to the floor on the table Empty handed employees walked over it six times never picking it up. For instance on this particular morning the cinnamon roll was dry and chewy. Tasted old and stail.
