Solid spot to grab a beer / cider / non alcoholic beverage! My husband loves the IPAs they offer and they have a huge selection available for purchase on the wall too. I had an amazing hibiscus cider from city orchards here once and fell in love - so delicious! One of the best ciders I've ever had! They do rotate beers often too so they have a cool variety of options! Service is quick order at the front and plenty of indoor seating! Great spot to hang out before dinner if eating at the restaurants nearby or before/after walking the park.

Ambiance: Taproom with coffee, beer, wine, & other drink options perfect for trying new drinks, hanging out, or enjoying a Saturday on the patio! Small patio area that is dog friendly. Indoor area has multiple high top tables and bar seating. Industrial vibes throughout & an entire wall of beer available to purchase to-go! Fun spot! Street parking available. This tap room is full of unique options for all beer and wine fans. If you prefer to grab beers to go, they have a full wall of beers from all over Texas and the world. The bartender was great for recommendations as well. Highly recommend all beer fans stop by when you're in the area!

WhichCraft is a great neighborhood tap room with a wide selection of beer canned and on tap. They also have coffee, wine, and food available. There is plenty of space inside and outside with the perfect chill vibes to relax with friends. The bartenders are very knowledgeable, samples are allowed, and 3 different glass sizes available if you feel like trying a bunch of different drinks.

"Ah, beer. Very insightful staff that will help you find your ideal pour. I love that they source locally, from their brews to their coffee it's all amazing. You can order ahead online and pick up at the counter or they also offer curve side pickup. Hit this place up for all your beer and coffee necessities. Taproom and beer to go

I've only been to WhichCraft two or three times but already I'm really loving the concept! Their tap beer selection is varied and very well categorized which makes it easy for those of us who have a very picky palate to pick the right beer. I'm also a fan of their to-go bottled beer selection as I enjoy discovering new beer and having the option of drinking it later at home, without having to commit to a whole 6-pack. Staff is always friendly and helpful, and the ambiance is very chill and cozy. WhichCraft is well located in front of a nice park in Mueller, only steps away from coffee shops and the best movie theater in town (IMO!) It's definitely one of my favorite casual beer shops in the city. I recommend!

Unique Sours

I love this place. My favorite beer type is sours. They have the best selection of unique cans and flavors. I always find new ones to try every visit. I go there about every 6 weeks. There is nothing better than an icy cold sour after volunteering at an outdoor food bank to refresh yourself. I have never tried any of the items on tap however people seem to enjoy them when I come in. I've seen people playing games when I've come in too. Go check this place out In Mueller. I'll be back in 6 wk. Here are a few that I got today

This place is nice to go to after work hours and chill. The wall of all the different beers is impressive. The staff was very friendly and knew all about the beers on the chalkboard. This particular night was challenging for the bartender because ppl just kept spilling drinks lol. It took all in stride and gave good customer service. In all, it's not a really cozy, comfortable place I personally like to chill at but it's a nice venue nonetheless. The prices aren't bad and the staff was awesome.

Awesome bottle shop with three solid guys who liked talking beer, food, Texas, and great spots to see in town. As I arrived I was tempted to try the 2017 aged barrel aged pumpkin beer first then the DDH Tupps and then many others that afternoon. A little later I bought a 2016 Alaskan smoked porter to share with the guests at the bar. We also sampled some cans with coo logos like European Vacation terrible beer but fun to try. We were fortunate to meet the dude working at Jester King the next day ! My 200th brewery visited all time. Nice shop. Nice people.

Draught House is German inspired with a nice, big beer garden and the way the inside looks it seems like you may have walked right into a German restaurant or drinking establishment with all of the dark wood and lighting. I believe you can get food from a food truck , possibly things like sausages which I'm sure are good but we brought in some food from a grocery store as we wanted something lighter and more vegetable forward. Their beer selection here is quite large and choices are pretty numerous. I decided to go with an Amber Ale it was very good! The name of it was called Cold Comfort. Flavor features to enjoy with this particular beer are malty, sweet, caramel and breadiness. The beer had a nice carbonation level too! All the flavors blended and melded together quite nicely which was nice. They certainly do know how to make beer and it was nice to get a beer type that I don't get as often. Lots and lots of other intriguing beer options aside from the one I tried here!

I knew I wanted a burger from the Crown before I started the long drive from South Carolina. Despite a literal wrench in my tire, I managed to make it there on 2/28 by 1pm, where my travelling companion and I met up with an old friend of mine from college. There was a bike swap going on, which felt about right for ATX. We ordered a beer and a burger then settled in on the porch (the part I call the "inside/outside" because it has a roof). I'm not going to say the Crown has the best burgers in the world. I guess it depends on what you want in a burger. I will say that, for the price, the Crown has the best pub burger - a good basic burger. I got a jalapeno cheeseburger, but I can attest to the deliciousness of the veggie burger and the mushroom-swiss. Back in the early 90s we used to bring my daughter with us and she would play pinball with my friend, Dirk. The bartenders at the time included a couple of guys who used to work at Duddley's Draw in College Station, TX. In the early oughts, I would come in for lunch and try to decide if I wanted the chicken tacos or a burger. Later I came in with the guy I was dating for too long for beers and a burger. Times change, Austin grows (parts are completely unrecognizable and no longer have that "vibe" that seems uniquely Austin; however, the Crown is a jewel in the rough that continues to shine for those of us who can see it. I had an awkward piece of time on 3/4/26 so I stopped by for a NA Guinness before heading out to see my aunt in Lakeway. I had the pleasure of seeing Derwin! My trip wouldn't have been complete without saying "hi." It took a minute, but he did eventually remember me! Here's to hoping it doesn't take another 8 years; because, we only get older and my friends are starting to show their age! I hope the Crown continues to serve great burgers and cold beers. I'll be back next time I make the pilgrimage home!

After reading through all the reviews, I noticed there were hardly any photos so I added 10. Parking can be an issue and you need to be careful because you could get towed or booted in this neck of the woods. They do have about a dozen or so spots behind the bar. The interior reminds me of a burned out home with a dirty concrete floor below and scorched, black exposed rafters above. Plenty of old car license plates on the wall and a jukebox off to the side. Bring a picture of your dog, because they have a large corkboard for customers and their pooches. They have plenty of good craft beers on tap and a decent full bar. This is a great place to bring your own darts or pool cue and since there are two dartboards and a pool table here. There's plenty of four top tables, seating at the bar or five booths to sit at. There's also an outdoor seating area that allows smoking. If you are hungry, they do have a food truck out back that serves up tacos, ramen, nachos, etc. On our visit, the truck was not open after 4:30pm. As a result, we just had one beer and left. Unfortunately, we missed meeting up however my friend and I did get to check out the venue, listen to a couple of the bands and try a light dinner. The bands that we heard were Lew Apollo and Brother Thunder. The ambiance was great - the place is open to the sky and the benefit of great weather made it a fantastic day to be there. At our arrival, the crowd was minimal. We were able to sit near the stage and enjoy the music vibes. After reviewing the menu, we went to the bar to place the order. I decided to go with 2 chili dogs, and my friend ordered the steak sliders with waffle fries. They give you a number and when the board lights up with your number, then you go to the pick-up window to get your food. There was maybe a 10-12-minute wait. I thought that prices were very reasonable and the taste was good enough. We learned that the Rustic Tap is an LSU bar and they host a lot of the game watches. We used a rideshare, so I don't know how convenient or easy parking is in this area. Overall, I enjoyed my time here and would consider coming back for future events.
