Great drip coffee and breve. The bagels are dynamite-nice chew and flavor. We had the Ham and Swiss bagel on two occasions and the yogurt parfait was fresh and tasty. The staff are really friendly and there are lots of seating options. Inside is super clean. read more

So far myself & other reviewers agree that the atmosphere at Whidbey Coffee is phenomenal -- a Restoration Hardware, Industrial conversion kinda vibe --however I suspect that if you're looking for a semi-quiet place to work or study this may not be your spot? I say this because at this moment there are less than a dozen people in the bldg & its quite noisy, likely due to all the concrete & brick (there's a child who's enjoying hooting & hollering to hear his voice reverberate off the walls)? I can only imagine what the noise level would be like if there were another 10-15 ppl?! BUT don't let that disuade you from stopping in. At least give them a try. PROS: it's not Starbucks; ambience is inviting with plenty of seating. Good service. Nice fireplace. Complimentary wifi. CONS: my hot chocolate wasn't very hot, nor was it very chocolatey (I think Starbucks's & McD's are better), however my husband was happy with his hot chocolate. Food-Drinks, pastries, and sandwiches were delicious and very fairly priced. Ambiance-Really hip and unique inside. Lots of seating, power outlets, and windows. The private room is really nice and spacious as well. Customer service- no complaints. Smiling faces. I came here a few times to study hours at a time and felt extremely comfortable. I couldn't be more happy about the amount of seating and power outlets. You don't feel cramped next to strangers like you would at other coffee shops. Definitely recommend this place! read more

Just went to this place for the very first time. Wow! The place itself is beautiful! There is a wonderful plant wall. The decor is great. The light that comes in mid-day is great. Our drinks are okay. Now! The service was AWFUL! Not welcoming, not helpful, not polite, not courteous. Our drink was simply placed on the counter, I had no indication that it was ready. The few treats we ordered were thrown in a bag and put on the counter. The cashier couldn't wait to get back to her personal conversation she was having with someone at the sit down bar. The lack of customer service alone will be the one thing that makes sure I will never return to this business. read more

Beautiful decor and the building looks so unique. I don't know much about coffee and I have a specific taste but the staff was so nice and helping me find something I would like. The ham and cheese croissant was to die for!!! Now when I drive to get my coffee I always bring my pup and they love to see him and give him treats :) great coffee! I was really excited to go and get some better coffee today and I drove through and ordered one of their pesto breakfast sandwiches and a mocha frappe. The lady was really nice but the food and coffee is terrible. This was my lunch break and this was my only source of lunch today and the breakfast sandwich had zero taste to it (honestly McDonalds tastes better) and the coffee is so terrible I cannot even drink it. It tastes like a mixture of the chocolate and the milk being expired. It literally is so nasty I cannot drink another sip of it. Feeling very frustrated because I spent $10.50 on my lunch and cant drink my drink and my sandwich is unsatisfactory. I do not recommend this facility. read more

Friendly people, good service, neat coffee shop with good coffee. I came here with my girlfriend on Sunday morning. We actually saw the outside yesterday and were drawn in by the unique design of the building. It's a very neat place. Love the polished concrete floor and the amount of space inside. I had a sausage and pepper jack breakfast sandwich that was pretty good. The flavor wasn't extraordinary, but the cheese was melted perfectly and I'm a sucker for proper melted cheese on pretty much anything. I had the holiday blend drip coffee with my sandwich. It was solid. My gf went with the breakfast burrito, which was also pretty good, although it could have used a bit more meat. Her white chocolate mocha was damn good. Would absolutely recommend it. The people working were friendly and welcoming, which set the tone for us to have a positive experience here. We enjoyed the place and will definitely be back. read more

First time at this coffee shop. We went through drive thru. Excellent customer service. Cashier made suggestion of buying bag of coffee as it was only a few cents more and then our drinks were free with special they were having. So we got the two drinks we ordered plus a bag of coffee to take home! Cashier made conversation while we waited for our drinks to finish, although they were pretty quick compared to our previous coffee stand. Menu sounded delicious and can't wait to come back and try the food next time. Edited to add we have been back to this coffee shop many times now and coffee and food are wonderful and always fantastic customer service. By far my favorite coffee shop in this area. read more

Beautiful coffee shop! Very clean and the baristas are welcoming! Love the indoor/outdoor fireplace and the plant wall! As for the coffee, just as wonderful! They have white chocolate sauce and powder, so you do have to tell them which white chocolate you want. I got an americano and forgot to say powder and received sauce, they use sauce as their default. Still great though! They even sell house roasted coffee during the holidays, just bought a bag! Oh also! Try the sausage and pepper jack breakfast sandwich. You will not be disappointed! It's amazing!
