some of my favorite baked goods and bread in the skagit valley! and if you live south of there, pro tip is that they come to the u district farmers markets on saturdays in seattle so you can get your fix if your schedule doesn't allow for a drive up to water tank road. the roasted onion loaf is one of my favorites but i honestly don't think you can go wrong with any of their products. if i lived closer i'd probably get some things for the thanksgiving table and i'd certainly be buying from here with more regularity. as it is, i try to buy their stuff as often as possible. their walk up window near the skagit regional airport in burlington is easy enough if you're anywhere in the vicinity and the skagit coop also stocks their breads. today i was swayed by a piece of almond coffee cake as my impulse purchase along with the bread i went there for. it didn't disappoint and i saved half for tmrw since it was pretty rich. if you want to buy local and support a small business this is a great one in my opinion!

Best bread in Skagit Valley! Don't miss their baguettes or roasted onion bread. Skagit wheat is great for tomato & Mayo sandwiches in the summer. Also love their challah bread! All employees are super friendly and helpful. It's a must visit!

Purchased two loaves while they were selling baked goods at Gordon Skagit Pumpkin Farm. Bought the Honey Oat and Roasted Onion loaves. Both of them were super tasty even days later. We savored each slice. My favorite was the Roasted Onion heated up with some plain cream cheese- DELISH!! We enjoy supporting local small businesses and will gladly purchase from here again. Each loaf was $10 and different shape for each. There's nothing like biting into a fluffy fresh loaf of bread. We stored ours on the paper bags then placed them in plastic bags in our fridge to help maintain freshness...and boy did they stay fresh!! I couldn't get pictures before everyone dug in to the loaves.

    Why not one of each.

Wonderful fresh baked bread. The Skagit wheat makes incredible grilled cheese. My favorite sweet is the coffee cake.

Good bread, very meh cookies. The location is remote but rather charming and service was pleasant.

Been shopping here for a while, but it's out of town for me. I usually pair up with a friend or…read morefamily member for my monthly visits. I particularly enjoy their fresh produce, local dairy, different wines, and a wonderful greeting card section. While not everything is organic, a much bigger emphasis is placed on local, organic, and renewable. I also like the bins with nuts, beans, and many other dry products, helps with reducing packaging. You can even fill your own honey jar. Outside you might enjoy nursery finds. Order your lunch at the counter, many great options. All in all, it's always a good experience with friendly and helpful employees serving us. I just wish it was closer to home!

There are things here that Whole Foods and Met Market only dream of, and freshness they cannot match. Yes it is a bit more than Safemeyers, but the quality is superior. The bread selection alone makes it worth the visit, and that is not to mention excellent brewed coffee, a high quality and ever changing cafeteria, and technical books covering everything from air frier food prep to building a home. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about what they sell, and if you ask a question they can not answer, they will find one.
