They were sincerely trying to help me and looked through all the phones there (a lot ) every time I went in. You know how it is. You tell yourself you're going to back up those PICs and the information on all the people you need to stay in occasional connection with but you just don't realize how much you don't do this until you lose a phone. But the weeks turned into months and I gave up hoping I'd ever recover that phone and then 6 months later this nice fellow from Ford Bros. tracked me down by calling my contacts to return my phone! He gets abandoned phones in lots from places like municipal governments or whatever and before he sells any of them he goes through each of them to make sure they are clean and that is just unbelievable. Mine was in a lot he picked up from some town in Southeast Wisconsin so how it got there from State Fair is a mystery that will probably never be solved. He went through a lot of trouble to return my phone to me and then tried very hard to refuse my reward. Actually I'm not sure that he ever even cashed my cheque. That was Cole but I'm betting his brother is just as ethical. They have a Milwaukee location too, if you need to move antique, collectible goods or liquidate an estate you can bank on the honesty of this operation.

Billed as a huge antique mall with 7 miles (not quite)…read more Part of a lager Volo complex that offers many things for families from dinosaurs to titanic exhibits. The antique part runs along side of the main attractions. There are many small booths that run through 4 buildings. Lots to look through. The one building is a maze over several floors including a barn attic. They are connected by a covered walkway. I wouldn't think they are handicapped accessible. I found some albums with decent prices. I wouldn't make it a destination, but I'd stop if I was in the area.

I went in to Leonard's the last week of July to get a battery replacement on my mother's watch. My…read moremom passed away recently and her memorial service was the following week in southern IL. I wanted to wear the watch in her memory. I knew I wouldn't have much luck getting a replacement down south and I was in a hurry to get packed and on the road, so called Leonard's. They were closing in about 30 minutes, but I was a bit desperate and asked if I could stop by. The woman on the phone was so incredibly nice and said she could get me in despite having other customers at the time who were being serviced. She mentioned there is a battery shortage, but she'd see what they could do. I ran over and leave Chiluba they had the right battery. They got my moms watch done in maybe ten minutes. Both the women were so sweet, considerate and friendly. They were very attentive to the other customers and I could see that they truly care about their business. The one woman even showed me how to change the time and date on my moms watch and carefully instructed me so as not to break the turner. They both asked me about my trip (I didn't mention it was for my moms memorial), and about the area I was headed to and then wished me safe travels. I can't thank these two women enough. They have no idea how much it meant to me to be able to wear the watch and that their kindness put my distressed and saddened heart at ease even for a few minutes. Thanks ladies! You made my entire week better than you could ever know.

In addition, when you tell a customer there are only two people allowed at the jewelry station while you actively have THREE people there, is just nonsense. Frankly I didn't waste much more of my time after that encounter, but a quick perusal of the kitchenware pricing indicates a vast overpricing on the first day. There are plenty of other companies that run fair, respectful sales in this city so I certainly wouldn't recommend darkening any of the doorsteps that have the misfortune to work with this group.

A friend used them for her sale and was impressed by their professionalism and all the precautions they took to ensure security and shoplifters. Staff is friendly and funny! I definitely seek them out when doing a weekend of sales.
