The indoor and outdoor dog friendly areas were so large that it never felt cramped or crowded. The food and drinks were flavorful from the strawberry matcha to the pumpkin spice martinis! I knew Diehl Feed South was close by. So, I decided to stop by. It was little like an Alice in Wonderland experience. Zoe the Cat peered at me atop a shelf by the front door - silently inspecting me, assessing my usefulness with the lazy blink of an eye, and immediately categorizing my character on behalf of her Proprietress as non-threatening, and thus free to browse the Wonderland that was her home. The store itself is just brimming from floor to ceiling and wall to wall. This is not a place for small children to run wild or adults who are cringe at one thing out of place. This is a place for folks who love slow shopping, almost forgotten small shops, controlled chaos, eclectic interests, hidden treasures, and all that celebrates the outdoorsy natural world. Diehl's has a little bit of this and that - from pets' treats and toys, to bird watching, feeding, and housing, to helping the bees and butterflies, to outside chimes, flags, and decorations, to gardening gadgets, to small animal feed, and more... I wandered the tiny aisles carefully, searching amid the crowded shelves like they were a Wonderland Maze - and cautiously because they are a bit precarious. Every inch and corner had something of curiosity or interest. I was there for a specific purpose though. Like Alice, I went down the proverbial Rabbit Hole, and began searching for my birdseed birthday treasure. With so much inventory, and so little knowledge of Finches, I decided to ask the Lady of the store for help. The Proprietress... well, you just need to meet her and chat! I was in the presence of an Elder who Knows Things and has the Power to Change the World for Good. She may be tiny in stature but definitely big in personality and full of Knowledge when you ask the Questions. She did not stop moving and working during my entire visit. Yet, she was very friendly and chatty as she multi-tasked, hefting heavy bags of feed and misc product around that weighed more than she did. She advised me on the selection of birdseed. We were supervised the entire time by Zoe, who must have deigned me worthy of her attention. I was allowed to offer pets and scritches, in between her sloe-eyed blinks. I believe Zoe knighted me a worthy Wonderland adventurer -- and paying customer. You will not hear any shrill shouts of a mad Queen spewing high prices or the annoying beeps of electronic bar codes being swiped. Rather, you'll have a lovely chat with a kind Lady at the counter, working hard beyond an expected age, giving you a Decent price, and silently offering a choice to donate to local charity at the counter with a jar collecting change. And yes, I found my specific birdseed and some feeders, with the delightful customer service by the Lady. I'll be back. I love shopping local and a good Wonderland adventure. Plus, I hear there are more cats! I need more Zoe pets and to meet the rest of her Wonderland party. ;)

They follow appropriate procedures for avoiding any cross contamination, required vetting, and administering meds when needed. They have supplies and cute items for your pets too and all purchases go back to supporting the cats care! They mainly take in strays and surrendered cats, so consider taking one or two home and give them the love they desire!

The cut is uneven, particularly around her face, which appears choppy and not well blended. Her paws were also not cleaned up to the standard I expected. The areas of greatest concern are her armpit and belly, which were shaved extremely close. Her skin appeared irritated afterward, and there is a small area on her belly that looks consistent with a minor nick from the blade. I spoke with management to address these concerns and am currently requesting a refund based on the result and condition of the grooming. Overall, I am not satisfied with the service provided. If you have a long-haired or double-coated breed, I recommend clearly confirming grooming expectations in advance.

They really understand that Every animal is different and that what works for one may not work for another. Recently we switched to a different vet due to moving, but the rest of my family still brings their pets here. Though the rooms are small, they work for what you need. There is plenty of wait space and seats, though they usually don't take long to get you in a room. They are always happy to provide advice and really take your pets best interest to heart. The prices at this location however are about double, if not almost triple, what I pay at my new vet office closer to home. You can quickly rack up $300-$400 bills for one animals' yearly checkup/shots. I can take my two dogs and cat to the new office and pay under $300 for the same yearly checkup/shots. This is what got the rating reduced to 4 stars. If I ever moved back to the area, I would gladly come back to this Vet office, but the savings at the new location just can't be passed up.

I've had two senior animals they've…read morediagnosed wrong, one had cancer but they said it was a mouth infection and made our poor girl go through ridiculous surgeries back to back for no reason. we had to go to a specialist and they immediately knew it was cancer... we had to put her to sleep not very long after. Now our other senior animal they've diagnosed wrong said she had a thyroid issue so she was on medication for that for years...turns out she doesn't have that issue she has stage 2 kidney disease. we had to go to another vet for them to run tests accurately and get that diagnoses. They only care about how much money they can get you to spend every time I've been there my bill has never been below $600 because they over sell you on everything and don't tell you the price till you get to the checkout. i highly recommend Martins veterinary hospital they're the best I wish I would've gone there sooner they actually care about your animals and try to help them.
