We were told that they do accept cash & new $100 bills, but it's store policy to refuse old bills because they are "easily replicated". The money was never taken out of our hands, and we asked if they had a pen to check the bill like any other place. They said yes but still refused to take it. We were sort of taken aback. I went into the Wildwood store today looking for two new Up Country collars for my dogs and some new, natural chews for them. Two employees there but I could not seem to get greeted or assisted the entire time I was there. My questions about the chews and the sizing of the collars went unanswered and I eventually put all of the items back and left. I get better service--or simply service itself elsewhere and online. Good product is certainly what is desired but customer service can't be nonexistent even if the right items are for sale--very unfortunate. read more

Took my golden retriever here for the self-service wash. Great experience. Everything you need right there in your spa room. The tub has plenty of room, and you just turn a dial for the shampoo of your choice. There's even conditioner! Plenty of towels, a blow dryer, ear cleaning solution, and a few different brushes from which to choose. A refreshing cologne spray for the final touches and you're good to go. They even provide a waterproof apron. The store manager, Stephanie, was very friendly and helpful. For $16, everything is provided. How can you not?! I love a bakery that caters to my four legged baby!!!! The staff is soooo friendly and helpful. I'm greeted whenever I walk in the door. My baby just celebrated her 12th b-day on Saturday and I ordered her cake from there. I love how they have multiple options of cake sizes and shapes but what got me was the icing. When I saw peanut butter icing I was hooked. I ordered her a 6in paw print cake with peanut butter icing. They decorate the cake to your specification and let me tell you, her cake was incredibly moist and the icing was soooo thick with real peanut butter. OMG!!!!! I love the other items in the store like: the flavored ice creams (peanut butter and bacon and the banana), the Natures Variety raw bites, the low fat fishes, the dehydrated apples, the huge selection of Fromm brand dog food and the wide variety of homemade treats on the table to choose from. read more

Treats Unleashed is a neat little store with several locations in the STL area. We perused in there about a week or so ago and I realized that these are the treats they use at Four Muddy Paws, our go-to spot for doggie goods. I was so excited, we were right at the source!! They have homemade, all natural doggie treats along with the usual dog food, leashes, treats, and supplies. They offer natural and more hard to find brands that PetSmart doesn't carry. They have raw Primal n freeze dried for Cats!! I love not having to go to a huge store. I did the math and I save more by using mostly raw, freeze dried n can (sometimes dry-they give samples). Cat lost weight n eats a bit less (still happy) but I do use an enzyme for hair balls cuz raw diet food digests a bit slower. read more

Friendly staff! They are always so helpful when I stop by. This one actually isn't the closest to my house but I like the Trader Joe's next door better than the one in Brentwood, so sometimes I make the trek out here or stop if I'm driving to West County. I stopped once with my elderly pom after taking her to a specialist at Veterinary Specialty Services in Ballwin, and the worker really fawned over how cute she was. Maddie says she liked feeling like she had her puppy looks back. They have all the foods that I feed my dogs and cats. Great quality foods here. A bit more pricey than the place I usually go, so I usually buy my bulk foods elsewhere, but I buy cans here for my old gal when I'm coming by. The thing I really love about this place is the TOYS. Two things about the toys set it apart. First, the size. They have a lot of small toys, a much better selection for tiny toy dogs like mine. Second, the quality. I have a chewer. I mean DESTROYER of any toy. Once my dad got her a toy labeled "indestructible." She chewed it until her gums were literally bleeding and I took it away. The toys from here have lasted way longer, and they have some that are without stuffing or have other chew proof qualities. After trying countless expensive brands from the big box pet store, we were so happy to find knowledgeable people. They had great suggestions on food, wet and dry, as well as what in our house we have come to call "kitty crack," (unpasteurized goat's milk). they are amazing! i work like 7 days a week and couldn't get in to get my 17 year old Norwegian Elkhound Frosty a cake until last minute. they usually will only take orders at least 24 hours in advance (which is totally understandable) but they made an exception and had it ready the day before they closed for the holiday. it meant so much to us and he loved the cake!
