Cheap alcohol and good service, but way too much cigarette smoke inside. Just adding more characters.

Let me just start with saying it was not even their fault. I went in and bought a four pack of seltzer of a certain flavor and I left everything was great. I got home. I drank Everything was great tasted wonderful. I opened the third can and it tasted weird, bitter when I finally looked down. It was a different colored rim, and it was a completely different flavor. I went back up to the business and I asked either for a replacement or something to help. They gave me a discount on the same package and even opened it to make sure that all four flavors were the same. Of course I wasn't going to drink all four, but it was just very nice to see them check and make sure everything was great. Been going there for years, always great Went in tonight. My regular drinks, beer and mixed drink were $3.21 more The bartender had a bitch so far up his ass with every movement to make sure he wasn't "giving anything away" or miss charging, IDK. He's been there for years, great employee!!! He would have to ask her to move to be able to make the drinks. No one should have to work with a stick up there ass!!!!!!! I will never go back..... Can't comment about the bar area, but for a small store they had some decent bourbon finds, including Buffalo Trace which has been hard to find lately ($30 so a little pricey but they had plenty). Guy behind the counter recommended Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel, which I'll test later to see if it was worth the $60 price tag. Hopefully looking forward to some future finds here. read more

10/10 great place with a friendly bartender! Clean environment with lots of seats. They also have boiled peanut when you get snackish! We had so much fun when we were there and If we find ourself in town again you can bet we will go back! read more

Bottles are overpriced, old lady behind counter was openly racist and rude. I paid over 200 for a bottle of 1942 which was 150 down the street. I hand her my debit card to pay she throws it down on counter instead of handing it back. She did this twice as I had two separate purchases so it was intentional. If I'm spending money in your establishment have some damn respect. read more

Inventory was very limited due to the building being under construction... Owner and cashier said updates would be completed within the next week or two and asked that we please return to check out a much larger inventory and very good prices. Hopefully this will be true as we found the items we purchased were about $5 higher per bottle than other stores. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Great location and appears the new and improved version will be very nice. Glad we could contribute to cover the cost of the renovation. Lol read more

Tiny little liquor store. The place smells like cigarettes as the raspy voiced lady smokes all day in here. She was pleasant but fairly unhelpful. The prices were awful. I repeat..AWFUL. Stagg Jr. bourbon, which is a $49 bottle in Michigan was priced at $89. EH Taylor small batch was priced at $59.99 and is a $39.99 bottle in Michigan. Once again the prices were awful. (Did I mention awful?) Unless they have something that you absolutely can't find anywhere else, don't buy it here. Go down the street to Beach liquors and pay a reasonable price tag, not the inflated prices of this stinky place. I won't be back. read more

Customer service was awesome, very helpful. The not-so-helpful part was the owner's stipulations to purchase products I don't care for in order to purchase what I wanted. Hi whiskey barn. I live 200 ft away from you in a family oriented subdivision. I have an infant and a 4 year old who are constantly woken in the middle of the night from your patrons trying to show their subs off. it is 2AM now and they have been steady beating for 45 minutes this particular night. Went in one day and a very nice gentleman helped me find what I was looking for. But, when I went a second time, a loud, foul-mouthed female employee randomly declared to everyone within earshot that "All lives matter" and that "we're Republicans up in here." Regardless of political affiliation, why would you make such a declarative statement that you know won't jive with 50% of your customers?? America is divided enough, we don't need a mediocre liquor store adding to the problem. read more

Worst place ever the bartender was rude and had no care for the people in the place letting people yell and fight and the only thing she said was you half to go home and call the cops so it doesn't ruin her business.will never come back and hope it closes it doors from lack of business she should be ashamed to run a business like that read more

I can not comment on the bar side of the establishment, I only stopped in on a bourbon hunt, looking for rare bourbons to take back home. It's located on the strip between Navarre Beach and Destin and was one of several liquor stores that I stopped in at during Spring Break. When I first walked in, I noticed the strong stench of cigarettes, so I guess they smoke in the bar area? idk, that's an assumption. Honestly for a place named Whiskey Barn, there isn't a lot of bourbon selection. They have more than just whiskey too, by the way. The sold everything to tequilla to vodka. There were a few dusties that we picked up, one was a 2003 Bookers. The sweet cashier lady said that they just got it in, but I'm not too sure about that because it literally had dust on it. In the bourbon world, dust is a good thing though. I'd stop back in if I were in the area. read more

I know that Florida has now officially eliminated all covid-19 precautions, however I am not comfortable entering establishments without wearing a mask. So when the older lady who was behind the counter mocked my decision to wear a protective mask, I was turned off. Never going back there again. read more

Had a nice atmosphere with the pool tables. But one bouncer IDed my friends and I when we went in and he told my underage friends not to drink, only 10 minutes later a different bouncer who was obviously drunk came over and kicked them out. Communication fall. read more

I appreciate you taking the time to review our neighborhood bar. Unfortunately I think you have us confused with another bar. We don't have bouncers at the barn. Lots of helpful regulars if we ever need them, but no one but the bartender would card you and if your friends were not 21, they would have been asked to leave. It's a 21+ establishment. Yoli was a great bartender...very friendly. Total dive bar (which I love).
