I took myself out to eat at Ivy and Ale last night, and what a little gem this place is. Nestled in a neighborhood in Ferry Park across from WIC, it has such a charming, welcoming vibe with both indoor and outdoor seating. The waitstaff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. Everything on the menu sounded incredible, but I decided on the Crab Cake Bucatini. The pasta was made fresh that day, and you can absolutely taste the difference. The crab cake itself was outstanding, loaded with lump crab and very little filler. The sauce the bucatini was tossed in had me literally saying "oh my" on the first bite. It was one of those meals where you just melt into your chair and slow down to savor every bite. This is a great spot for a date night or meeting up with friends. I very highly recommend Ivy & Ale. Support your local businesses, places like this are special. Oh, they also have tons of live plants for purchase!

The ambiance brings you into a cozy homey feeling, surrounded by plants and a peaceful atmosphere. The service was fantastic, very attentive, and the restaurants vibe was just spectacular. They offered indoor and outdoor dining which was also nice for those warm sunny days. The menu was great and offered plenty of unique dishes to choose from; their dessert menu was so interesting that we struggled to make a choice. Everything we ordered was prepared fresh and came out looking fantastic - everything tasted as good as it looked. I do suggest making a reservation on the weekends since they are a smaller restaurant and get very busy. Overall, this is a great place for a romantic date night or family dinner.

We stopped in on Saturday around noon and quickly got a table. It was my first time here! Vibes were great. Food was sooooo good!! Staff was so nice and checked on us multiple times. Parking was a bit difficult. But I will be back!

After two solid years of parenting tag-team with zero nights off, my husband and I finally snagged a sitter on our FWB vacay and ran out the door like teenagers skipping curfew. A friend had recommended Ivy and Ale for date night, and it did not disappoint--at least not in terms of vibes. We sat outside under a canopy of trees, string lights overhead, and a quiet that can only be described as luxury when you're usually dining with toddlers. Ambiance? A+. It felt cozy, romantic, and just the right amount of casual. We both tried local hard seltzers we'd never heard of before (adventurous, I know). They were light, fruity, and hit the "we're on a date and don't need to chug caffeine or wine from a plastic cup" sweet spot. Food-wise, we had a split experience. My husband ordered the pistachio-crusted salmon on a bed of orzo with roasted lemon and practically licked the plate clean. His only complaint? He wanted more of it. I had the blackened shrimp and grits. Now listen, I'm picky about shrimp, but when it's blackened right, I'm in. Unfortunately, this shrimp wasn't really blackened--more lightly sautéed with a whisper of seasoning. The grits and sauce were solid, but most of the shrimp stayed behind on my plate. Could've been a hit, but it just missed the mark for me. Naturally, we needed dessert to make things right. We couldn't decide between the orange crème brûlée and the olive oil cake with berries and cream, so we went for both. They weren't bad by any means, just not the grand finale I was hoping for. The brûlée could've used a thicker, crunchier top, and the olive oil cake leaned a little dense and extract-heavy for my taste. Still edible. Still pretty. Just not the kind of sweet note I wanted to end on. TL;DR: Ivy and Ale is an absolute date night vibe with outdoor charm and solid drinks. The food had some highs (that salmon!) and a few misses, but all in all, it's worth checking out--especially if your babysitter's on the clock and you're in desperate need of grown-up time.

Ft.Walton is known for its beautiful beaches. I travel for work and it's always hard to find high quality food and service. I have to say this place is a gem! The atmosphere is in trenched with beautiful flowers and modern decor. They had me also with music selection of Zach Bryan. Ok on to food and service. Ladies night is on Thursday with discounted drinks and my server was amazing! You cant go wrong with their hot whipped feta spread. Their chef also featured a perfectly cooked salmon over orzo rice. If you're in the Ft. Walton area this place is a must dinning experience.

This is a hidden gem!! Absolutely the most adorable restaurant with its aesthetics and atmosphere. It offers a variety of craft brews, wines, seltzers etc. I ordered their Florida Hazy and Waygu Breakfast Smash Burger which comes with a side of potatoes, very delicious!! They have a very eclectic, earthy vibe with tons of plants to choose from if you're interested. Very happy I stopped in and I'll definitely be coming back with my fur child because they're paw friendly

My server was friendly and knowledgeable with the menu. She made several suggestions that were fantastic. The Bam Bam shrimp appetizer was really good and the fish tacos hit the spot. Where things got disappointing for me, is how long in between I saw her. From the time I finished eating to her checking in was over 20 minutes. I asked for the bill and it took an additional 15 minutes. Overall, the poor service detracted from what would have been an amazing experience.

Being in Bavaria just a few weeks ago, we were a bit hesitant about going here, but we were pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Weisswurst and Brezel with sweet mustard brought back memories of our recent trip. Our server was alone and was quite busy but she handled service easily. We had time to peruse the decor and again, it brought us back to our time overseas. Thank you for that. The weisswurst had great flavor and texture and the Brezel was hot, salty, and soft. My liter of Bier and my wife's glass of gewurztraminer made for a great light lunch for us. Our only "complaint" is that we live 12 hours from here, so getting back is a bit of a problem for us! Thank you for great food and a bit of Bavaria here along the Gulf of Mexico

I got the Gingerbread Oatmeal stout and the Funny Papers Hazy. The Gingerbread stout tasted more like ginger than gingerbread to me. Strangely it was still pretty good. The Funny Papers was a delicious juicy hazy. Wood Foot has 12 beers on tap plus 2 THC drinks, the pizza looked solid and the courtyard area was nice with multiple TVs to watch sports.
