Amazing steaks, sides and alligator bites!! Whiskey drinks were great and customer service was top choice.... Will come back anytime I'm in Klamath. Side note they use a local butcher shop for the steaks and tri tip

Stopped in for lunch at the Whiskey Bent Saloon. Owners are onsite helping customers, great service, offering a "just hang out" vibe. The food is outstanding, and don't leave without trying the fried Okra. The old fashion is the best I've ever had. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town. This is a must stop if visiting or living near K-falls.

The tartar sauce is really good. The ranch dressing is excellent! Not at all vinegary, it may be house made. I don't normally order something like the bangers and mash, but it came highly recommended. I am SO GLAD we did! It's not regular mashed potatoes, it's the whole potato prepared with a crisp outter shell, smashed down and seasoned to perfection. The sausages were surprisingly good and bursting with layers of flavor. The star was the onion gravy! I don't think I've ever had "onion gravy", but it is my new favorite thing. I even went home and checked Pinterest to see IF I could somehow replicate it... for now, it would be easier to just come back and order some more *smiles* The fish tacos are the same dipped cod used for fish n chips, but in set in 2 large white corn tortillas (per taco) instead of on fries. Fish tacos don't come with a side, but 2 fish tacos can be split into 4 smaller tacos. It was very filling and I didn't need an extra side of anything. It's a complete meal *cheers* The daytime service was excellent. The adult beverages were exactly as expected, water was refilled w/o asking, food was served hot and the guy checked on us a couple of times to see how the food was *yay* I could see this venue being super festive later in the evening. Lots of seating, high tables, low tables, wrap around wood bar, shuffle board, a pool table and speakers throughout. The place is very clean and has plenty to look at on the walls without feeling cluttered. Opens daily at 3pm.

We got a table immediately and our waitress brought us waters and took our drink orders. She gave us plenty of time with the menu and took our orders when we were ready. I got the 4 sausage links with eggs and hash browns, my partner got the strawberry banana waffle, and his sister got the peared up waffle. I also got a hot chocolate, which was pretty thick and a little too rich to finish. The whipped cream it had was great, though. Our food came out fairly quickly and was good. My eggs were good and the toast was nice. The hash browns were a bit chewy and tasted a bit like they had been cooked on a cooktop that hadn't been cleaned in a while. The sausage was also super tough and I wasn't able to finish it. The waffles my partner and his sister got were good, they didn't have any complaints about them. Our server was very nice and checked on us frequently. The prices were pretty affordable and the table was clean. The restaurant as a whole looked pretty clean, on par with a standard diner. There is ample parking both on the street and in their private lot. If you're in town and looking for a place for breakfast, definitely stop in! I'd recommend the waffles over the egg dishes, I would probably get a waffle next time I visit.

For an instant as we entered we thought we were experiencing the scene from Bob Seger's song Turn the Page. We looked at everyone and they looked at us. Like many lounges, they have a high % of local clientele and we clearly were not that. Nevertheless the friendly guy behind the bar welcomed and joked with us as we ordered our food and drinks. The overall place looked spotless and fresh unlike some places that have sticky tables and smell like stale beer. Below is the breakdown: Wings - amongst the largest I have ever seen. They came breaded with Buffalo sauce on the side. They were juicy and delicious even without the sauce. I asked for "hot" and the sauce was Franks straight up which is just right for me. Apparently they offer four Buffalo heat flavors and over a dozen other sauces. Burger - a 1/4 or 1/3 pound burger with standard toppings. Breaded Calamari strips - first time I have encountered Calamari that looked like a fish stick. They were tender and good. Frys - these were amazing. Everyone does frys and it is hard to get excited but these were fantastic. Crisp and medium sized they came out hot and fresh. We think the kitchen is related and shared by the chicken place next door. The service was just right and the gal working the table was super nice and helpful. Prices were more than fair. As we left we said goodbye to a now fully occupied bar and had several farewells come our way. Overall a great place run by great folks.

I ordered a Corpse Reviver #2 and my husband went with a Paper Plane--both cocktails were absolutely delicious and well-balanced. The menu was a bit unexpected for such a stylish lounge, leaning heavily on fried comfort food. We tried the cheese curds and the charcuterie board, and both were surprisingly good. Service was a bit uneven. The bartender, while very chatty with locals, didn't acknowledge us at all--which made it clear we weren't part of the regular crowd. Thankfully, the waitress was friendly and attentive, even though we were seated at the bar. She's the one who took our orders and made us feel welcome. Overall, it was a pretty good experience--especially if you're from around here or don't mind a little local-clique energy.

Up until recently, the food had been consistently superb, which is why my last two visits were disappointing. I previously ordered the beet salad and absolutely loved it. However, during my visit two weeks ago, it was completely different from what's shown on their website and Yelp menu. Instead of being served on a plate with arugula, it came in a bowl with kale. The kale was extremely tough and difficult to chew, and there were very few beets in the salad -- I actually had to search for them. Overall, it felt like a completely different dish from the one I had enjoyed before. Last night, I ordered the seared scallops with corn risotto. I was told they were out of corn and would substitute asparagus, which I agreed to. The corn risotto I've had there before was excellent, with plenty of corn and great flavor. This version, however, looked like half an asparagus spear had been blended into the risotto, so there really wasn't any noticeable asparagus flavor at all. What also stood out was the portion size compared to previous visits. Last year, I remember paying around $26-$28 for this dish and receiving four nice-sized scallops along with a generous serving of real corn risotto. This time, the dish cost $36 and came with five very small scallops -- about quarter-sized. The flavor was still very good, as it always has been, but the increased price combined with noticeably smaller portions left me feeling unsatisfied. The bright spot is the service. The waitresses there are always excellent, friendly, and attentive, which definitely helps the overall experience. Will I return? I'm honestly undecided at this point. It's hard to justify paying $36 and still leaving hungry. In fact, afterward I walked down to the Pikey and grabbed a hamburger -- and that review will be a much happier one. Yum!

We grabbed a beer from the bar before we went to sit on the patio because it's a beautiful day outside. We were the only ones out here and it was peaceful. The wings came out and they were delicious and the ranch that came with it was big. The were crispy, perfectly cooked and mild like it said. The pizza then came out, we got the mama Mia pizza (#9). The bottom has a little crunch, the toppings look/tasted fresh and we were happily full. When the pizza came out the waitress asked us if we wanted ranch and she brought out a whole squirt bottle of it on ice and it was very good ranch. (I like a decent amount of ranch on my pizza especially the crust). 10/10 recommend and when we're back in town, we will definitely be back! So much space for lots of people. Looks like there is entertainment weekend nights and has a very relaxed and nice vibe about it. Look at the picture for the pizza and view in the patio.

There is certainly chicken so if you are hungry or want some pretty good bar food with drinks, there is that, be sure you have your cab money though, its easy to get swept away, its a lot of fun. The staff in general are quite good too. For the part of town you find Chicken N Cheers in I think they do a VERY GOOD job at conducting the overall atmosphere. They aren't there to be baby sitters, they are there to create an atmosphere that people would like to hang out in and they accomplish that in spades; I think that is the sign of a GOOD bar. Having been to many of the bars in town, Chicken N Cheers does it right. I have gone around 5 times now and every time I enjoyed myself. The crowd is generally on the younger side and are sociable. And that is GOOD. I understand that some have maybe judged them a bit too rowdy, but I'd say to those folks the establishment does do a GOOD job at threading that needle, you know "boys will be boys" and to be realistic with those sorts of expectations. Chicken N Cheers lives up to its name, practice your song at home, then bring it by and hand it off to Weezy, please, know your limit, and don't blame them for not being mind readers. 5 Stars.
