Time to eat before the flight!
Amber M.

I know you're not supposed to have high expectations for airport food, but wow, no bueno. I was starving and all the other places just had sandwiches, salads and no seating, so I took a chance. It was really odd that there really is no service. You scan the QR code, order through the site and then they bring the food out to you. However, that does not mean that they don't have a 20% tip option at the end when you check out in the app--awesome. So I ordered a burger with fries and chili because I love chili on a cold fall day. The cili was actually pretty good. I love that the serve it in little cast iron skillet because it keep it nice and hot. The burger was underwhelming. The bun tasted like wonder bread, the burger didn't have much flavor, and the fries were cold. The server that brought out the food was nice and asked if I needed anything, but that was about it. Of course, it was airport pricing, which is to be expected. I come to RDU a few times a year, but next time I'll be sure to eat before I get to the airport on my way back home.

Meh. The nachos were cold and the chips were already soggy. The toppings were mediocre and the cheese is like the weird nacho cheese you get at gas stations. The fries were okay but we asked for ranch three times and when we got it, it was gross. 0/10 would not recommend

As far as airport food goes, this place was decent. Nice crispy tater tots, the burgers were ok. A bit on the dry side. My BBQ burger had about a teaspoon of BBQ sauce. But the ingredients were fresh. The service was not great. No friendliness. But that's expected in airport spots. The place had cool decor and a nice vibe. A country bar type of aesthetic. My lady made me promise to include that her southwest burger had NO avocado in it. She was disappointed. Happy, babe?

We went to Whiskey River in the airport in Raleigh. We went here since there were only really 3 or so food options at the airport. Both the chicken tenders and quesadilla were not very good unfortunately. The restaurant was very bizarre in the way it was set up. You scan a QR code to place your order and pay. There is really no server. It was a very odd set up. The live music yesterday was good though!

Yelpers.... Just don't, turn around and hum to yourself LOUISIANA LOVES POPEYES and walk yo self right across the hall. I mean look at my club sandwich.... It's like they got the 99 cent turkey and ham at krogers, slap a lil bacon and lil something something sauce and call it a club. Only reason I gave it two stars was the service was great and they live music- the food in RDU is so sketch there's like no decent place in terminal 2, so Popeyes hits your crave. This cost me 28 with tip and drink, I mean it's so sorry-- if you're here for drinks then maybe I'd like it more, essentially when you come here you are renting the space to sit-- the food is just meh.

I had a 3 hr layover & was starving so I decided to try this place out while I waited. My server was pretty nice but wasn't chatty per say. It took about 25 minutes for my order to show up but after taking a bite I regretted my decision to eat here especially when there is a Popeyes right across the walk. My fries were cold so I asked for a new order of them. I ate the burger even though it was brutally tuff. I won't mKe this mistake again. $24 with a drink & tip

Chicken tenders over rotten lettuce.

Dont waste your time or money going here. Food was terrible and service was very poor. Chicken tenders are really bad quality and did not taste fresh. looked like they had been sitting under the warmer awhile. not worth $15 and they served it on bad rotten lettuce. Ordered soda but they never served it then had to fight to get it taken off my bill. Save your money and go across the aisle to popeyes chicken or another restaurant.

Cameron was awesome. Very personable and great with customers. He made our drinks perfectly. We love the Texas tequila sauce on chicken tenders. The wings were a little overcooked but still delicious. We definitely would recommend this place while waiting on a flight.

In RDU airport killing time. Prices were relatively decent for airport food. My buffalo chicken sandwich wasn't the best, though. The flavor was good but I had to ask for a new toasted bun because mine was drenched in buffalo sauce and soggy. Thought I could finish up the average meal with the only dessert on the menu, but they were out of peach crumble. So, there's that. Tater tots were a little hard but that's being picky because I sure did eat them all. Other people seemed to enjoy their food and management was around asking people how they were enjoying their meals. Live music was a nice touch as well.

From the garnachas, to the Cuban sandwich with perfectly seasoned crispy French fries to the pork pupusa which were all good but it was their churrasco steak and pollo Dorado (golden fried chicken) that blew our party of 4 away. The Churrasco steak was super tender and maximum flavor. It's been a long time since I've had steak that good. Their golden fried chicken was no joke in that it was perfectly deep fried and juicy. Fried beans and rice sides and small salads were all fresh and wonderfully flavorful. Do yourself a treat and check this place out and you will be pleasantly surprised. Will definitely be back again. NOTE- I noticed after I got home that the prices charged for their Pupusa. Churrasco and pollo Dorado were all $1 more than listed in the menu. Also the beef garnachas are charged per piece so be sure to confirm how many you're getting when ordering because my waiter ended up bringing out five of them for our party of four when we were expecting one. We ended up eating all five but it came a bit of a surprise when it came time to settle the bill.

Very friendly and made our experience worthwhile. When they were out of the cucumber for my drink she adequately notified me of the additional wait time and was very understanding of me canceling the drink and single handily made me want to return to the goat. Wanted to check out what Durham had to offer during my stay in Raleigh, so hopped over Line and came to this cute cafe! The residents living in the apartments that were built next to this place are pretty lucky! Our server told us that The Goat holds a lot of activities for them and the pool area is a nice place for residents and restaurant customers can hang out and play games. We got the biscuit flight. Perfectly buttery, fluffy on the inside, with ample crispy edges! The honey and berry dips were god, but the pimento cheese dip was out of this world! I like pimento but I'm not the biggest fan because everyone makes it differently. My pet peeve is a Mayo forward pimento. The Goat Pimento cheese seems to be made with cream cheese and I didn't taste any Mayo, so THIS is how I prefer my pimento cheese! I couldn't get enough of its savory goodness, then going for a honey or berry dips for that sweet salty sensation. The coffee service was annoying. Our server brought out the biscuits before the coffee, so I asked about it. About 3 minutes later a girl came with my husband's cappuccino and my coffee was in a glass filled to the brim with ice. I immediately said, wait I didn't order iced anything, I drink my coffee hot and she immediately snatched it and walked away without saying a word! That was a strange way to treat a customer who has not only been waiting for late coffee but when the coffee came it was all wrong! We were almost done with the biscuit flight by the time my Lavender Honey Mocha with Oat Milk HOT came out. I will say that it was a delicious cup, however! Worth the wait??? Well I ended up asking my server for a to go cup for the coffee. The last nail in the coffin of The Goat not getting that 5th star is getting a plastic to go cup for a cold drink. By this time I realize they were never gonna get it right. So I just pulled my warm coffee into that plastic cup, prayed the microplastics and toxins from the plastic cup would spare me this one time and kept it moving.

Looking for authentic Irish pub vibes in North Carolina? Trali Irish Pub absolutely delivers!…read more I had to order the Shepherd's Pie, and it did not disappoint. Rich, slow-cooked beef stew topped with a beautifully swirled layer of creamy mashed potatoes--it was the ultimate comfort food. To pair with it, I enjoyed "The First Squeeze," a refreshing wheat beer from a local North Carolina brewery that complemented the meal perfectly. I planned to skip dessert...but then I spotted the Baileys Cheesecake on the menu. Resistance was futile, and I'm so glad I gave in! It was the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. With its warm, authentic Irish atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food, Trali Irish Pub is definitely worth a visit. Sláinte!

I needed a nosh before a meeting and who doesn't love an Irish Pub?…read more This was my first time visiting Trali and won't be my last. It was about 6pm and the dining room was about half full, but everyone seemed in good spirits and many were watching the World Cup. The hostess sat me at a table near the entrance and facing the bar, I had a book with me to catch up on and planned to read a bit. Within a few minutes, the server came around, showed me the beer list and asked if I wanted anything else. When she returned, she saw that I had a book and very attentively asked if I would like to be moved to a quieter table... yes please! She mentioned that a 16 top was due any minute and they'd be taking up the large bar top in the center of the room, and it'd probably get pretty loud. She then talked with the hostess, and they moved me into, the library, of all rooms... how apropos... It's literally adjacent to the open bar area, but walled off and with a definite library vibe. I was sat in a corner table and with perfect ambiance. Looking over the menu, I couldn't really decide on a dish, but I wanted something more traditional Irish. I finally chose the Boxty potatoes topped with corned beef and it was a perfect portion. Everything came out to the table quickly, perfectly hot, and portioned well. I loved the mix of flavors and textured from the baked mashed potato to the shredded corned beef, and finished every single bite. I finished two chapters of my book and was pleased to see another patron in that room also reading. All in all, a night well spent and will definitely return when I'm in the area.
