Popped In for coffee at the adjoining Morning Ritual and got hungry. So I mosyed on over to the The GOAT for some food. I ordered the burger and chips with cheese and bacon. It was comparably priced at $14 but extra for the bacon. (When did burgers become so expensive?). The burger was delicious- juicy with a delectable sauce. Very good. I didn't care for the chips. They are served cold and were a bit limp. I prefer hot and crunchy chips. Next time I'll get the French fries. The restaurant has plenty of parking and seating as well as a full bar with tvs. (Sports bar vibes). Service was excellent. My server was attentive and pleasant. Will return to try some other menu items.

I met a friend who had meetings on World Trade Boulevard near RDU. I suggested The Goat based on Yelp reviews and because it was convenient to her meetings and Interstate 40 since she lives in the Charlotte area and was driving home that evening. Vickie was already there when I arrived and had ordered the Queso Skillet. It was a great way to start the meal. The sausage gave it a nice flavor and paired well with the queso. Although The Goat has a full bar, we both opted for soft drinks. I had a club soda with cranberry juice, which was mixed well and refreshing. After enjoying the sausage in the Queso Skillet, I ordered the Nonna Tavern Pizza with Italian sausage, caramelized onions, banana peppers, and basil marinara. Whatever blend of cheeses was used, the pizza was delicious. I also had a side house salad with apple vinaigrette, which was very tasty. Vickie ordered the grilled salmon and said it was quite good. The service was very good, and the space has a modern industrial tavern feel with upscale farmhouse and brewery-inspired design elements. It feels casual and comfortable while being more polished than a typical sports bar. One feature that sets The Goat apart is its coffee-and-breakfast concept. The coffee, breakfast, and work area is separated from the main restaurant and resembles the kind of modern, uncluttered coffeehouse you might find in a contemporary hotel or airport lounge. It creates a welcoming space for morning coffee, breakfast, or remote work before the lunch and dinner crowds arrive. After my visit, I learned that The Goat is operated by LC Hospitality, an Ohio-based company that has expanded the concept to several states. The Brier Creek location is one of multiple Goat locations, giving it the feel of a locally focused establishment while benefiting from a larger hospitality organization. Overall, this was a good experience. The food was enjoyable, the atmosphere was inviting, and the prices were reasonable. The combination of restaurant, tavern, coffeehouse, and social gathering space makes for a unique dining environment in the Brier Creek area.

The portion sizes here are so good !! We loved the Brussel sprouts and sweet potatoes! I had them as an appetizer then made them my side with my fish tacos. Our server was so sweet and attentive ! Overall the location is beautiful, it is clean, and has parking in front. 10/10 experience will definitely be back.

Oops! Excuse the spill ... but here's the tea!! Location: 4/5 Parking: 3/5 Outside appearance: 4/5 Inside appearance: 4/5 Hospitality: 3/5 Food: 3/5 Price: 4/5 Went to this establishment during happy hour. I didn't realize it was happy hour until I saw the signage on the table. I ordered several appetizers. The wings: good but I've definitely had better. The sauce ones were too soft for my linking. The taco board: everything tasted good but I just assumed it would be tacos assembled not deconstructed. Brussels & sweet potatoes: they were good but I could do without the white aioli drizzle. The sliders: trio of different types of burgers in miniature size. I got to the last burger and discovered a .... STRING OF HAIR!

So I would have given this place a five-star because the the food, the actual person that was working, and the atmosphere were all very nice. The caveat to this, was that there was one person attending to about 20 people in the restaurants by himself. He was doing a great job at that but really there should have been other stuff on hand to accommodate everyone. Everyone surrounding us had to wait for an extended period of time to get their things in place because one person was working so hard to accommodate everybody. I don't think this should be held on the server the bartender because he was running around doing the best that he could. Moving along, went in for a burger which I heard was amazing from multiple people, but opted to get the salmon tacos ( also recommended) which were awesome! They came in threes and was a filling portion. The side chips is the option that comes with the entree but after hearing so many great reviews about the brussel sprouts and sweet potatoes, I decided to check those out. So glad that I did! They were out of this world good!! It seems that they have events throughout the week and different happy hour food items specials, which is always a nice touch. I will definitely be back and I met lots of nice people there having great conversation! They are also all big Foodies, so for us to all want to frequent their quite often says a lot about how good this Place conducts business.

Just okay. I had been wanting to try the Goat for the longest time. Unfortunately I was disappointed by my experience. The service was incredibly slow. We were told the wait would be 15 min but it was closer to 25min and it wasn't packed. Our drinks took forever to come along with our food. They took so long with the food we couldn't even enjoy it at the restaurant because some of us had to rush back for your afternoon meetings. Maybe this was a one off situation but it doesn't make me want to go back. The food was okay, nothing spectacular. Ambiance was reminiscent of a first watch.

Popped in for a Friday lunch with a friend. The restaurant wasn't too crowded, and the service was excellent - our waitress was super friendly, attentive, and the food came out quickly. The fish and chips looked pretty but lacked a bit of flavor, though the Brussels sprouts were good. A decent spot, but I might try a different dish next time. I didn't care too much for the Golden hour spritz but my friend loved her blueberry mojito Moctail.

Chill vibe, spacious with indoor and outdoor seating. Standalone restaurant close to a housing community so I guess good for the residents. While the food was good, service was slow and even tho it was during their happy hour, the place wasn't yet busy it look a while. We got the boneless wings and fries basket, the Nashville hot mac & cheese, for drinks we got a Foothills people's porter beer and an old fashion.

My husband and I wanted to check this place out because we were craving burgers. The Goat has a great vibe and potential. Service was noticeably slow and they didn't seem that busy. The beers were good and we really enjoyed our appetizers. However, we both thought the burgers were just "blah". The meat was not exciting or flavorful. The burgers were overcooked in my opinion. The toppings on my Nashvegas burger were tasty, but it didn't make up for the dull meat. I think The Goat is probably fine for drinks and appetizers, but I don't recommend it for dinner or burgers. Appetizers Pickle Chips: so delicious (my favorite food of the night). I loved that the pickles were thick. They had the perfect ratio of pickle to fried coating. Farmhouse Tots: HUGE tots (the biggest tots I've ever seen) covered with pork belly, fried egg, queso, scallions, & sriracha aioli.

    Holly K.

Pretty solid "bar" food (that's what I would best compare it to). Have been here twice now, sat outside at the window (nice option if you're swimming at the pool right outside, or want a little fresh air). The outside bar is pretty long (as is the window that they open up for service), and there's plenty of bar seating- as well as tables. I have tried the pepperoni flatbread (appreciate all the optional add-ons), the burger, and the tater tots. I thought the flat bread was really good, not too saucy, crust was fluffy and crisp, and the pepperoni was crispy. The burger was really juicy, the brioche bun was fresh and soft, and I loved the option to add on macaroni and cheese as a side (instead of fries). I got the American burger with bacon, and added the macaroni to it! The loaded baked potato tots are scrumptious- the sour cream, fried onions, and cheesy (creamy! interior really make the tots unique, compared to any I've had before. I would definitely come back here to eat lunch or dinner again!

The food here punched way above its weight class - I'm talking Manny Pacquaio level. From the garnachas, to the Cuban sandwich with perfectly seasoned crispy French fries to the pork pupusa which were all good but it was their churrasco steak and pollo Dorado (golden fried chicken) that blew our party of 4 away. The Churrasco steak was super tender and maximum flavor. It's been a long time since I've had steak that good. Their golden fried chicken was no joke in that it was perfectly deep fried and juicy. Fried beans and rice sides and small salads were all fresh and wonderfully flavorful. Do yourself a treat and check this place out and you will be pleasantly surprised. Will definitely be back again. It was about 6pm and the dining room was about half full, but everyone seemed in good spirits and many were watching the World Cup. The hostess sat me at a table near the entrance and facing the bar, I had a book with me to catch up on and planned to read a bit. Within a few minutes, the server came around, showed me the beer list and asked if I wanted anything else. When she returned, she saw that I had a book and very attentively asked if I would like to be moved to a quieter table... yes please! She mentioned that a 16 top was due any minute and they'd be taking up the large bar top in the center of the room, and it'd probably get pretty loud. She then talked with the hostess, and they moved me into, the library, of all rooms... how apropos... It's literally adjacent to the open bar area, but walled off and with a definite library vibe. I was sat in a corner table and with perfect ambiance. Looking over the menu, I couldn't really decide on a dish, but I wanted something more traditional Irish. I finally chose the Boxty potatoes topped with corned beef and it was a perfect portion. Everything came out to the table quickly, perfectly hot, and portioned well. I loved the mix of flavors and textured from the baked mashed potato to the shredded corned beef, and finished every single bite. I finished two chapters of my book and was pleased to see another patron in that room also reading. All in all, a night well spent and will definitely return when I'm in the area.
