Frustrated!!! I have a credit card account here so you know right off the bat I like this store…read more But this last transaction really left me upset. Let me start by saying I live an hour away from this store location. I originally bought a pair of vans and got them home, tried them on and hated them. (I currently own another 16 or 17 pair). So I went back in to exchange them. Of course though, every one I picked out was out of my size...grrr so I talked to the manager and she said "let's look on the website and you can see all that we have available ". To me, that was a great idea. In fact hard choice. I chose new skool blue checkered and she asked what size I needed I said "I wear an 8", she went on with the process and had them being sent to my house so I did not have to make the hour drive again right away. Waited and waited, they finally came today (approximately 8-10 days later) and they are a MEN'S size 8!!! Now, I am positive I do not look like a man, and I've dealt with this manager on multiple occasions. It's not that she wasn't nice or helpful, she was, but NOW I have to drive the hour again to return these (thought it was resolved so that's providing I can find the receipt) and re-order the shoes all over again and then the waiting starts. I DID call the store, the young man that works there answered, he's awfully young, he tried to reassure me not to worry bc I have 90 days return them. For me it's the principal, the gas money (gas prices are through the roof) and the waiting 10+\- days to get the replacement! Maybe if they would have offered me some form of compensation I might not be as mad, but like I said he was young and I feel did his best.

Quality/Quantity - Time to get some new replacement Birkenstocks. $114 each. I am going to wait…read moreuntil they go on sale for $99 each. Atmosphere - Good size and a clean organized store. Open 7 days a week from 10am to 8pm, and on Sundays from 11am to 6pm. Plenty of mall parking. Service - N/A, self service. Actually, there are plenty of employees working today, but not one person said hi to me... They were all working hard and I actually felt like I was in their way... Price - Reasonably priced, especially when on sale. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1960, starting as Neils Factory Shoe Outlet, and to your parent company Caleres Inc.'s success for the last 130 years.

I love that the Shoe Tree is listed as a shoe store on Yelp!…read more I was born and raised in Reno, Nevada and I try to make a trip back about once per year as my parents and little brother still live there. When I decide to drive instead of flying I try to always stop at the Shoe Tree on my way out of town. This thing has shoes of all styles and sizes, some of the shoes have names and dates written on them. I particularly like the high heels that can be found in the tree (Those take more of a commitment to secure in the tree as they don't have shoe laces). On my most recent Reno trip last week I mentioned to my brother that I was going to stop by the tree on my way back to Portland. He gladly donated an old pair of Converse Chuck Taylor's for my hubby and i to toss into the tree. I'm so glad he did because it made my visit to the v tree infinitely better. I decided I would take a video of my husband tossing the shoes up into the branches. It took a few tries for the Chucks to get lodged into their new home (though my video indicates they made it on the first try). We even had a huge RV pull over to watch the shore toss who honked a loud horn of celebration when the shoes landed in the tree. I'm not exactly sure how a tree suddenly becomes an official shoe tree, but I'm glad it does. Next time you find yourself travelling northbound on Interstate 395 outside of Reno make a point to stop at this shoe tree. You can even see if you can spot the grey Chucks we added to the tree (they have greenish soles).

It's still a tree! Now with more shoes on it! My favorite is the glittery stripper pump with…read moresee-through heels. Tres chic for bumblefluck nowhere. I like how people are stringing shoes together to create a chandelier effect on the branches. We added to the tree but sadly, it was just a boring old plaid sneaker. Next time I need to get rid of my glittery stripper pumps, I'll come here.

One of my favorite features is the Walk of Presidents upstairs. The lifelike presidential statues are fascinating, and you can listen to each president's story as you stroll through history. Kids (and adults!) will also love the indoor Ferris wheel (only $1 a ride), the classic shooting gallery, arcade-style attractions, bowling, the candy shop, and the impressive aquarium. You could easily spend a couple of hours here even if you're not shopping. Don't miss the cafeteria if you get hungry. It's a great place to grab a bite, and while you're there, be sure to stop by the fudge counter. They offer free samples of their delicious homemade fudge, making it hard to leave without buying a piece or two! When it comes to shopping, they truly have something for everyone. Whether you're looking for clothing, shoes, sporting goods, camping gear, coolers, golf equipment, water toys, or just about anything for the outdoors, chances are you'll find it here. The selection is incredible. What really stands out is the customer service. Every employee I've encountered has been cheerful, friendly, and genuinely eager to help. Located at Legends in Sparks, Scheels is one of my favorite places to browse, shop, and spend an afternoon. Whether you're shopping, exploring, or just looking for a fun family outing, this place has something for everyone!

We love all the aquariums, arcades, bowling, golf simulator, food and of course all clothes, shoes, and sporting goods. It is a huge store and it's always busy. The staff is very nice and helpful. Theirs prices just a little higher but their quality is very good and if you should have any problems you definitely can bring it back. I love coming here.
