Wow, this place is so rough and old. It that reason which Keeps me coming back. Been coming here for over 10 years and enjoy it every time I return. Every time I bring someone here they enjoy it. Good drinks reasonable prices good staff.

Bar area.

They are rude. Long waits for a drink. Blond bartender is the rudest of them all. She literally won't serve someone she doesn't know. Hot inside. Mixed drinks barely have any liquor.

It's my birthday, thanks for the free shot! :-)

Asked the bartender for toilet paper for the bathroom, and she pretty much ignored me. Otherwise would have ordered more long island ice teas.

The place to go to when you want to get away from the snooty posh like places. Like any dive bar this place has a relaxing ambience. Sat at the bar in a chair that rolled on wheels. Might be donated furniture but nonetheless gives the vibe of someone's place that they put together . Enjoyed that they offered their guests popcorn ! Movie style kind to pick on while enjoying their drinks and company of friends laughing about whatever. They offer a small room in the side to play pool . Saw two tables and middle room had about 5 tables. Womans bathroom was one stall. Small . I almost walked into the men's bathroom on accident since it was close to the exit. Didn't give the extra 2 stars for lack of space . Overall staff was nice. Drinks weren't overly strong. Good company .

Hijo le, dive bar for real. Sticky tables, floor, seats, restroom, and bartenders. Kicking jukebox, low-end spirits, miscreants, and no parking round it out. Give it a go, but make sure your shots are up to date.

Chill. Great vibes.

Happy vibes. Some people are drunk. But no ones judging. Chill place. Cool server. Means well. She's white, blonde and has tattoos. Give her a good tip. Literally just randomly stopped here and loved it.

For being a dark dive bar there was a lively crowd for happy hour. Whiskeys is a cool little place. The bartenders were quick and friendly. The seating seemed limited but I still managed to grab a table. The waitress kinda ignored me but it's ok. I don't mind getting my own drinks. What kept me from giving a better ranking was because like most dive bars it was crazy smokey! Other than that its not a bad place. One definite bright spot was the two dollar wild turkey during happy hour!!

Great place. The liquid marijuana pitchers are beast. You can get KO'd here for about $20. The atmosphere is chill, good staff. Free popcorn. I'll be getting turnt here more often.

Free popcorn just enough butter

I would like to start off by saying that I do enjoy this bar. However, tonight was hands down the…read moreworst experience that I have ever had there. There was a very obviously new staff working behind the bar (which is fine) but the quality of service was an absolute disgrace. I work in the restaurant industry and have been a bartender for 5 years now so I am familiar with all TABC regulations and the rights that each bartender possesses as a seller/server. As a bartender, I support and encourage other bartenders to exercise their rights to cut off a consumer whenever they please for the safety of the guest, themselves, and others. Tonight my friends and myself arrived after closing our own restaurant. The first drinks we ordered arrived quickly. Every drink after took 15+ minutes of waiting to be acknowledged while the bartenders were busy. In the hour and a half we were there, we might have had 3 drinks each. I understand a high volume of business will create longer wait times and I absolutely understand that bartenders have 90 things going through their minds at one time. But when I am asked four (4) times by the same bartender what my drink order was, and that bartender proceeds to forget about my friends and myself and make other people's drinks is where I begin to have a problem. I never got the female bartenders name, but she was inattentive. My biggest problem was at the end of the night when the bartender Matt, took another 20 minutes to take my friends drink order. When he finally circled back around to the order he says "I can't make that." Okay. My friends come sit back down at the table without their shots. I was confused and asked them what had happened and they explained that the bartender said that he could not make it. I proceeded to go up to the bar and ask the bartender what he didn't have to make the shot because I was going to suggest using a different ingredient. The bartender Matt goes "it's 1:50. The lights are on. Im not making your friends that shot." I explained that they had been standing up at the bar since 1:30 trying to get the shot and Matt follows with "yeah well it's too late to order now. I have the right to refuse service to anyone I please." I told Matt that I understood all of the TABC laws and regulations and he stated that he was not going to "make a shot like that" at this time of night. I asked for his name, he told me it was Matt, he then walks away and serves every other bar guest another round of drinks and/or shots. I wasn't aware that a bartender could refuse to serve specific shots to guests? Because we ended up receiving shots, just not the one that we wanted. That MUST be a new TABC stipulation that I have not heard of. Point being, this bar itself is good but needs to emphasize some more training on their new bartenders. Customer service and speed definitely seem to be a problem for Matt at least.

Adrianne did an amazing job behind the bar. Good music by the DJ. Great place to relax and get…read moresome cocktails. Dart boards and pool tables for those who like it.
