I'm honestly really surprised by how disappointing my visit was. It started off great with a free vacuum for the interior of my car. That was great. Then, the attendant took my payment for a basic car wash, which went well too. The problem started with the actual drive-thru wash. A guy took a mop with some soap and slathered it on part of the driver side of my car, but then I was pushed into the wash tunnel before he could even do anything with the other side. Kinda felt pointless to only do one side (barely). After I pulled out of the car wash, I realized my mirror was folded in on the passenger side, and I couldn't do anything until I got home. Long story short, just another service that's gotten so bad I'll have to drive to the suburbs to do. When they changed ownership a few years ago this place was such a hidden gem! Scammers! First of all the prices went up from $8 just last Thursday to $10 this week but I can't complain too much. Everything has gone up. I run my car through the rinse about once a week and was surprised at the increase but I needed my rinse so I said ok give me the $10 wash. I get home and my card has been charged $17. I really want to dispute the charge with my bank but it's only $7 and I can save someone else a headache by reading this. I hope the attendant with the mild cognitive decline who I could barely understand enjoys that extra $7 they probably tipped themselves. I am so serious. If the owner sees this they will know exactly who I am talking about. I have had friends that have been scammed by car washes like this and put on subscriptions they didn't authorize. I've contacted customer care with confirmation of my cancellation yet am still being charged. I've tried to go in person, but they're constantly closed on weekends. On 8-28, I wanted the $20 carwash, was talked into signing up for a program that would allow a 2nd wash for free within a month. Then the emails started and what I'd assumed was a "rewards program" to earn points toward free washes turned out to be a $30/mo membership program! The first email they sent me indicated I'd be billed on 9-29, so I started trying to email the company to stop it - no response to 5 requests. There is a corporate number, couldn't find it then...but turns out it may not have helped... So I watched my CC transactions and, as promised, on 9-29 they billed me $30. The next day I went back to the carwash to request they cancel the membership and refund $30. They politely did the latter, but couldn't guarantee canceling my new membership...because even THEY cannot reach the company. (I was told no one answers the phone there.) So I had to cancel my credit card, get a new one issued - and of course, update a number of vendor records online. Hours wasted. The wash itself was fine for this sort of thing, but I'm done with these guys forever: unscrupulous (or, at best, sloppy) interaction on site, zero accountability at Corporate office. read more

But instead they stood there talking about their hours messed up with the job and etc. I went thru the car wash and came out with the back of my vehicle still dirty. I went to this car wash last week and they were extremely busy. There were several cars ahead of me and they were running them through back to back. When I bought it they did not have the stickers to put on my windshield at the time so the manager said hold onto your receipt and we will give it to you when you come back. When I went back, the person said, No, this was just a one time wash you have to purchase the plan, so I did. NOW I am being charge for 1 plan twice a month. This is defiantly a QUICK CAR WASH spot. If your looking for a thorough cleaning I would suggest getting a hand wash else where. I needed a quick wash bc my car was just too dirty. Avoid this place if you like your wheels or have a new car. Short summary: My new car was damaged and the person working admitted it was their fault due to an equipment issue. He provided me with a damage form and I filled it out and left expecting a call back. I did not hear back in two weeks and they would not answer the phone. I contacted the listed owner, Charles Giles, via registered mail and he refused the letter. I then paid a process server to deliver the letter and give this business and Charles a fair chance to fix the issue before I filed suit in Fulton County. Filing a suit is expensive and time consuming and I wanted Charles to know this cost would need to be added to the total damages if we could not fix. I was contacted via email by Charles Giles using the email address Wash Box Express washboxexpress at gmail promising to get back to me after reviewing my video and their internal videos. Do not go to this car wash. For one it's very small and they do not hold themselves accountable. When you are driving into the car wash area, the rails sit very high and your car will get damaged. The attendant was guiding me in to the washing area, and my rocker panel was running against those yellow rails and my rocker panel snapped apart. The attendant went to get the manager and he was able to snap it back together and said it wouldn't come apart and issued me a refund. I later realized that the rocker panel is lose compared to the passengers side. I've called, emailed, texted the number from the website and did the online inquiry for them to contact me because now, I have to pay to get my car fixed. They never replied back to me. Beware, I visited the car wash on a Sat. The attendant not trained miss directed me and caused $375 in damages to my car. The lead attendant acknowledge it was their fault and too a report. You have to email them and they will get back to you when they feel like. I received a generic email that was so insulting. I'm surprised by all the negative reviews here. The basic car wash ($7) got two weeks worth of tree trash (leaves and about 5 lbs of pink flowers) off my whip. The whole thing was contactless (a first for me)-- you pull up to a drive through type window and make the selection you want, pay, roll the window up and pull up to the wash. The guys at the entrance did additional mopping of my windshield to help get all the crud off. Zero complaints. Fast and easy. read more

This is a place to avoid, especially for women. Their machine broke, Sludge was dumped onto my car while in the wash - they refused to clean it properly, refused to connect me with a person in charge and made disparaging sexist remarks to me. This place is almost completely automated. There is one human as you enter the car wash. The instructions said not to touch the breaks. My car shot through the wash and wasn't cleaned at all. The car was just a little wet. I may have done something wrong, but I was not sure how to remedy the situation as how would I attempt to rewash the car or even get passed the automated gate? I took my sedan through the wash at this location about 1.5 hours ago. At this car wash, you vacuum first, then go through the wash. There is no place to park after the wash so you immediately exit. I went down the street to Lowe's and noticed damage on my car that was not there before. I have a well maintained 2006 Mercedes and take great care of it, so the scratches (down to the metal!!) were immediately evident. I called the car wash, no one answered, and the voicemail is full. I am posting this review in hopes that the management will contact me and set this right. In the meantime, I HIGHLY DISCOURAGE other car owners to use this location in the event that the wash causes similar damage to their cars. read more

For what this car wash is about, it is more than convenient due to location, cost, quickness, and getting what you pay for. Or, in my case I would say more so due to the fact that I frequent this place at least five times a week. It totally works for me and I'm assuming the same goes for others. I (actually my employer) pays a monthly automatic fee of $19.99. We were fortunate enough to get locked in at this price over a year ago but now the monthly fee for unlimited washes starts at $29.99 depending on what package you get. All monthly packages come with unlimited vacuuming as well which you do yourself as you drive in before driving through the car wash. This is perfect for me because I happen to live in a loft, where I reside as well as work as a caretaker and one of my duties is the upkeep of my 71-year-old boss' car. And due to the fact that it's not garaged, sits in it's assigned space under a big tree (that houses lots of birds & pollen) -added with the construction going on next-door that supplies plenty of dust thank you, - equals more than enough cause for a daily car wash. Oh, and you have to sit in your car and have it in neutral while rolling through the wash. -and you can always expect a smile & extra good customer service from the employees directing you into the car wash. Steve and Calvin are the two (of 3) familiar faces that I see quite frequently and they always go out of their way to make this 3 minute process simple and pleasant. One HUGE tip: do NIOT roll down your windows until you see the green light at the end of the wash! If you do so, you'll be sorry due to the air dry that basically feels like a tornado. DO NOT TRUST YOUR CAR TO THE MACHINE AT THIS CAR WASH! SEE PHOTOS! I am so disgusted with this car wash that I am going to let the pictures do most of the talking. We're talking EXTENSIVE damage- not minor. The workers are nice enough, but the car wash is sub-par. The car wash stopped (broke down) while we were in it. The brushes got hung up in my rear bumper, and ripped it off, as well as denting it- hard. It can't even be "taped" together- as if I'd want the gf driving around like that. I am now stuck with my gf's car in hooptie condition, having to file an insurance claim, get her car repaired, and ALLLLLL I wanted was a simple RINSE OFF of the car. Sigh. The car is inoperable with the bumper hanging off. I would STRONGLY advise you NOT to take your vehicle to this business! What a nightmare this is about to be. P.s. I tried Eco Express this morning with mixed results. The machine was broken so I paid $5 cash for the basic wash. When the attendant brought my receipt, he didn't bring the $2 change (washes before 11am get a $2 discount). I went inside to get the change and it was provided to me with a genuine smile. I'd expected the Manager to be annoyed because the machine was broken, they were fairly busy, and I was asking for $2, but he was very nice about it. The turn into the car wash was a little tricky and I heard an awful grating noise from the inside of my driver side tire as I turned in. Once on the rails it was fine, but that noise still concerns me. The $5 wash itself is a great quick clean and run; similar to the quick car washes that gas stations used to have. The vacuum I used didn't seem to have the suction I've experienced in other places, so I wasn't able to get the dirt in the cervices, only the dirt on the surface. If you need a quick clean and vacuum because a bird pooped on your car and your kid spilled Cheerios in the backseat, Eco Express is a solid choice. read more

Overall, Eco Express is one of the well-priced assembly-line car washes with free vacuums that I enjoy. The entrance is on Moreland. The Hosea L. Williams Drive entrance is always closed, but probably used as an emergency exit if that need ever arose. Therefore, the best way to enter Eco Express is northbound on Moreland. Eco Express is located on little acreage and the facility is definitely space constrained. As a result, customers must vacuum their car first. The inherent problem with that is that the vacuums are free, so it is only a matter of time before someone uses the vacuum without buying a wash and the trying to back up and creating a traffic nightmare (even though there is a sign that says that the vacuums are for car wash customers only). The complimentary vacuums have good suction but they are not covered, to protect the customer from rain. The hoses are also too short, so creativity may be needed to vacuum the back of a vehicle. I put my backseat down so that I could reach the trunk of my station wagon. Turning around to back into the vacuum stall is challenging due to the tight space. Similar to other express car washes, an automatic kiosk is used to accept credit or cash payments for the wash. Eco Express offers some monthly wash plans as well for $20-35/month. This is a good idea for those that wash their car more than 4 times per month. I wash my car about once per month so I always opt for the basic $5 wash. After paying for the wash and passing the gate, vehicles must bank around a super sharp corner to align to the belt that pulls the car through the wash. I could see this sharp corner being an issue for larger vehicles. Also, I have a station wagon with a rear wiper. Many express car washes will place a plastic bag over it to prevent damage. Eco Express did not do this, but there was no damage. When I left the wash, I had to stop at the Edgewood center to put my rear wiper back in place though. This is why I prefer having the complimentary vacuums after the wash (bent mirrors or rear wiper blades can be adjusted before leaving). Overall, Eco Express even with its imperfections is the best express car wash closest to Midtown. I prefer Swifty further south on Moreland but Eco is more conveniently located. I will probably visit Eco Express again. read more

In July, my tire was popped by the rail track going in to the car wash. The employee on site had me complete an incident report and said once the manager reviewed the security tape to confirm it happened, they would contact me to reimburse me for the tire. I had my six year old with me and numerous people saw it happen and asked if they could help, but at the time I was confident the car wash would follow through with what they assured me. I used my own AAA to get the car towed to where my new tires were under warranty, so that the total cost was only $81. I contacted the manager and sent him copies of the bill several times over the ensuing months. I got a response months later that they would look into it, but again nothing. Someone was working on the machine (or robbing it) and a sketchy looking guy approached my car and mumbled "Card". I was struggling to understand him for a few minutes. Did he need a card from me?
