Overall, I appreciate the end results of washing and drying my car, knowing that I washed it to the best of my abilities, as sometimes I question the effectiveness of certain drive through car washes.

Sometimes between work, life, and just making it through the day is enough stress, when someone else can pick up the slack for some bucks, I go for it. And that goes for washing my car or doing absolutely anything regarding my car, (hell, even someone else driving it is nice!) Dealing with a tree that my car is usually parked under, hard rain and disrespectful birds, my white car has been struggling! So I was on the hunt for someone to detail my car and hopped on Yelp. First, where are all the detailers?! Those that I found didn't answer the phone or return my calls, and I was being super impatient so I kept it moving. After searching for a bit longer, I gave up and figured, "...I guess I'll just wash my own car!" (Lol like, girl get up!) So I began searching for car washes and came across East Point Car Wash - perfection. When I arrived, I noticed it was a busy Saturday! There were plenty of customers using the various stations around the car wash, perfect day for some car love I assume. I parked behind another car and waited for my time to enter. But before I did, I lowkey freaked out because I only saw the cash/change machine but no ATMs/Card readers and I only had a card - yikes! So I quickly drove around the corner and got some cash... only to return and see that there wer card readers in the wash bays - man! Lol. BUT - the cash was used and didn't go to waste lol but know that you can use your card here. :) I'm a late in life driver and feel like I've only washed my own car like 3x in life, and have washed more cars for charitable efforts than anything else. Well, I may owe some folks some refunds because I was not that good when I first started washing my car this day lol. I love that the dial has so many options that are easy to choose from + the extendable broom/sprayer/tools, and there's ample space to move around. But I was still a bit confused on some things but lucky me, there were plenty of helpful Uncles around to assist me while dropping some southern charm at the same time lol. I didn't feel overwhelmed by the assistance offered, they were all kind and respectful and offered to wash it all for me. How sweet! I accepted the helpful tips (like the one that told me to use the engine cleaner to get off hard spots - brilliant) and was happy to know they were around if help was needed. Each function was so great + the vacuum section and fragrance options = so worth it! My only complaint is that you're not offered much time for your $4-$5 required purchase. I feel like I was racing to wash my little car in that time frame and definitely spent about $20 to wash the whole thing. BUT - it does look fantastic! I will absolutely be back and this time, I'm letting one of those nice gentlemen wash my car because maybe they'll do it faster and save me some $ while I look pretty. So if you see me sitting on the sidelines drinking my Pistachio Latte while some nice gentleman washes my car, please mind your business and don't ask questions lol!

I don't know my way around, so I Google car washes near me. I found the 1012 WASH. I pulled in and I explained to Jason that I just needed my car to be hosed off, meaning all the mud just taken off. At first he seemed reluctant because I think he wanted to wash the whole Jeep, but after he understood what I wanted he went ahead and did it. It took him less than 5 minutes and I was very grateful and I tried to tip him and he didn't want to take it. After the third or fourth time I insisted he finally took it. My Jeep was all rinsed off and looking sufficient enough to go into my friend's fancy neighborhood. I was very happy and grateful. I asked him for a business card and I told him that I do reviews and I was going to give him one a good one. If this is what he did expecting no money and did such an amazing job, I can only imagine what he will do for a paying customer thank you Jason for helping a Damsel in Distress on a Friday afternoon, a much older damseling and distress but nonetheless, thank you very much.

The guy who walked up said they weren't really taking any more customers, but they'd take me (I think he saw how dirty my car was and felt sorry, lol). My issue with that, though, was that he said they didn't close until 6:30pm, and it wasn't even 6:00pm yet. Anyway, he provided an inside/outside cleaning service that got the job done for $40, which is about what I'm used to paying for a hand car wash in Atlanta.

My only issue was that the attendants didn't do any pretreatment before sending the car through, which is also usually a good time to remind customers to turn off their auto wipers. Also, a lot of the vacuum spots were occupied, so I had to wait for one to open up since a lot of them were missing vacuum hose. Many of them. Still the wash quality was solid overall. I selected the $30 wash with the special ceramic coat. The staff is friendly and my car was decently clean. The machine failed to completely remove bird feces and dead insects from the hood and front bumper however they have plenty of clean microfiber rags and cleaning supplies and I was able to touch up the areas on my own. Overall I would recommend this location.

The guy at the entrance was helpful and explained the differences between different washes. Although the basic wash is a little costlier than other places, we liked that they had some people manually put car soap before it went through the automated wash. Also, the place has many self-vacuum cleaning spots, which is helpful, especially on busy days. They also have cleaning fluids and damp clothes to help with cleaning the car. If you are a car enthusiast and live close by, I would suggest taking their monthly plan and saving a lot of money even when you visit every weekend. Definitely recommended
