Not bad, they were delicious just not expected. The same applies for the chimichangas. They were good, just not what I would typically expect from a beef chimichanga. Typically it comes with a hard fried flower tortilla with ground beef inside, they had more of a stewed Barbacoa textured beef and it was very soft. It also had a brown sauce as well as the queso. I don't think I've had it that way previously, but it wasn't bad. The chills relleno was the only thing you ordered that wasn't good. I've never seen a chilly and I'll come out that way. It looked more like a enchilada. When I cut it into it, it was indeed a poblano pepper, but it was covered in a red ranchero sauce in addition to the queso. The coding was very soft and mushy, and it didn't have much flavor. When I cut into it, it was cold inside and I had to send it back to be reheated. But the menu is large, and they have a lot of drink specials and good lunch combinations. I would come back based on the cleanliness, helplessness of the staff, the size of the menu

The salsa and chips are served up immediately and are consistently delicious. We tried several different selections and all are great. Always fresh, served hot, and generous portions. The fajitas are our favorites here. Overall a fun place to enjoy Mexican in Findlay.

Rancho Fiesta - Chimichanga - different. The beef isn't ground beef. It's more barbacoa texture. And the tortilla isn't "hard fried" still very soft.

My first encounter with this local gem was over twenty years ago on my first visit to this Ohio town, and it's still around with improvements, enhancements and is still great overall! A terrific family run business. From its jam-packed with a wide array of dry and can goods on grocery shelves, great meats, extensive local baked goods, and a much renovated and expanded restaurant and really nice Mexican-style bar! If you're in town and are in the mood for an ice-cold Dox Equis and/or Jalisco style Mexican cuisine, this the place for you! Their goodies run the gamut from an incredible Pozole to Grilled Chicken delights, to delectable Burritos to mouthwatering tacos, some terrific, refried beans and incredible chips and salsa! I think they are one of the top five Mexican food joints in the Defiance area. Oh, and do your groceries while you're at it. Buen provecho ya'll.

What really bothered me was the surprise 3.5% surcharge they add if you pay with a card. That includes debit cards too. I didn't see any signs about it and wasn't told until the check came. At that point, I didn't have cash, so I had no choice. For anyone wondering, surcharges on debit cards aren't allowed under Visa and Mastercard rules. I get that places are trying to cover costs, but it should be clear up front and within the rules. I wouldn't have stayed if I knew about the extra fee--or I would've stopped at my bank across the street to grab some cash. Just a heads-up for anyone thinking of stopping by: bring cash.
