Friend and I went for lunch. We had the buffet. Waitress was really nice and friendly. There wasn't a very big crowd. Which might have been due to the road construction. Surprising the waitress asked if we would like to order a specific pizza. We ordered a deluxe. She brought it to our table on top of us also eating from the buffet. What a yummy spot! We ate at the buffet and there was a big variety of pizzas to try. There was a garlic bread pizza that was really good and a ranch chicken pizza that was my favorite! Love this place. I'll start there. Great local pizza buffet including salad and soup. Love the crispy thin crust although it's American pizza, don't expect traditional New York Pizza or cutting edge cuisine. The salad bar is very generous with delicious dressings as well as pudding and cottage cheese some of my favorites. You get one pizza order per table; I love the roast beef and ranch and the taco pizza no lettuce. My problem is the horrible service. The hostess was in slow motion. She also had what looked like a BM movement all across her backside and was totally oblivious. It literally made my stomach turn. We came in on a Sunday because they had posted a buffet special. When we went to pay the cashier would not honor the special although we showed her the online post. Her response was " I didn't post that" This is the second time they would not honor a special or discount that had been offered. I don't mind paying a few dollars more but it's inconsiderate when we specifically drove from Toledo to BG because of ads someone there had posted. Meanwhile you're stuck eating whatever is left on the buffet that is reliant upon what other customers ordered. The salad bar is pretty limited with few vegetable and no protein options. All you can eat buffet is reasonably priced and delicious. I also enjoy their pasta selection which is not part of the buffet. Service is generally good. They have blinds which are adjustable to keep out the sun. read more

Loved it! We stopped at Pagliai's on the way home from Columbus. It had some good reviews! It deserves more! We got the All You Can Eat Pizza and Salad Bar, and it was fabulous. For 15.00 you can even order a three item pizza of your choice and they give you first dibs on it when it is done. The salad bar was nice and fresh, and the choices on the pizza bar were great. Good Pizza, Good service and friendly folks! Their drinks are bottomless for a reasonable fee. I read reviews and called around for a place to deliver pizzas for a luncheon, wanting a good price. Pagliai's was the ticket. I spoke to the manager. He was very accommodating. I wanted pizzas for 50 people, cut in squares with paper plates and napkins included. He called me back with the total which was low compared to the menu. He had given me a discount. Yea! He also said the delivery was always free. I responded that the driver needed to be on time, and he was on time! He received a nice tip. Everyone liked the pizzas, especially, the BBQ chicken was outstanding. Others pizzas included Hawaiian, Vegetable, Pepperoni and White Cheese with garlic sauce. Try Pagliai's. I do not recommend. Placed my order online. Said pickup was 5pm but when I got there only half my order was ready. Had to wait 10 min to get the rest. I got the taco salad and hubby got the calzone. Also a side of garlic bread. None of it was good. I ordered no onions on my salad and it came FILLED with onions (pictures included). I picked them out as best I could and still kept biting into little pieces and it was nasty! I order sour cream and they give it to you in packets instead of putting it on the salad. Hubby said his calzone was not good. The garlic bread was two flavorless little slices of baguette with cheese melted on it. Disappointing all around and not worth it. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. My family and I went to this little restaurant just to grab a bite while they were visiting my dorm. It wasn't busy. We're seated, and then we order a drink and an appetizer while we decide on our entrees. We waited 30-40 minutes JUST for garlic bread. For my entree, I ordered the lasagna. Similarly, my stepfather ordered the spaghetti. The pizza for my mother came out and the calzone for my brother came out, but I never received my entree and neither did my step father. Eventually, after waiting for nearly an hour with no valid excuse as to why we hadn't received our food yet, we ended up cancelling our two entrees. On top of this, we NEVER received silverware. When taking my order, the waitress asked me if I wanted a salad with my lasagna, I said yes. I said yes with the idea that the salad would be brought to me, but as it turns out I was supposed to go to the buffet (which I was never informed that I had to do). When building my salad, there were a very limited number of vegetables with a depressing bin of store bough salad mix. I ended up with lettuce and green peppers and Italian dressing. There weren't even tomatoes or carrots. By the time my mother and brother finished eating, we were all fuming and just asked for two boxes. We received two boxes but one of them was used. We open the box to find pizza grease and sauce coating the inside. We end up getting up to check out, and the cashier tries to explain to us that we were wrong about our used pizza box issue. Overall, this was extremely disappointing and I would be surprised to this place get shut down if the health inspector were to ever come. read more

This restaurant is a staple of BG. I LOVE the food. Today I ordered the Chicken and Dumpling soup and Ravioli. Soup was buffet and was great as always. Ravioli are great for Italian lovers. Authentic meat sauce and stuffings. Service dog friendly. As a disabled individual they went above and beyond with their service and I am happy that they accommodated me and my Service dog. Selena was amazing and was thoughtful about everything even during a large rush. Buffet style is available and the restaurant is a really rustic and easy going when it comes to environment. In the fall of 1990 I was introduced to this pizza joint by a group of friends who were showing a young man around the town. The pizza was the best this small town boy had ever tasted. Well, 25 years later and I still have to eat here whenever my travels take me within a reasonable distance of BG. I have been coming to Paglias since before I can remember and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. I will not being coming back for a very very long time. The waitress sat my family of 5... We waited 15+ minutes for her to not return. Would give the breadsticks a 5 star rating but the pizza a 2.5 star so I will round up to an overall rating of 4 stars due to excellent service & salad bar & serving Pepsi products.
