It's not Myles, it kind of seems like Myles, but it's not. Thickness is the same, some toppings are the same, but the flavor isn't there, probably due to sauce. Service is ok, pizza is ok, prices are bit high. The lunch special is good, but it's weird that they don't let you make even the smallest changes. I am happy to pay extra dollar or two for another topping. I wish this pizza was better, but it is what it is. read more

This is a very good pizza place in Bowling Green on the western edge of BGSU campus and the eastern edge of the central business district. This shop shares a building with two other businesses (a Pita Pit and a Subway). The city parking lot in the back is very convenient. There is both indoor and outdoor seating at this restaurant. During our visit on a Sunday evening, it was not busy and everyone was sitting inside. The dining room was perhaps a bit dark but was spacious and comfortable. Social distancing was no problem. Our server did a great job taking care of us. Pizza was unquestionably the feature of the menu. We chose the Greek Pizza. This featured pesto sauce, grilled chicken strips, bacon bits, tomato slices, red onions, Kalamata olives and a three-cheese blend topped with Feta. This was presented with a toasty brown top. The pizza featured an excellent taste, but was very rich. We ordered the eight-slice size and brought five pieces home. The cost was not cheap on the surface. The pizza was $23 USD. With drinks, tax and tip, our final bill was $33. At $16.50 per person, this was not a bad deal, especially if it is considered that there were two additional meals worth of pizza brought home. I would not hesitate to recommend this place if someone wanted pizza in Bowling Green. read more

I spent plenty of time enjoying the old Myles Pizza Pub while a student, so for me and many others, this is a sentimental place some might consider sacred in the BG culture. I can say with confidence that you can still find an exceptional pie here. I brought my son here during a very busy school weekend and had my daughter with me two years later, during a slow period at the start of summer. The quality of the pizzas were consistent and our service was solid as well. While I thought a hearty small pizza would be enough for my daughter and I, she saw the Bosco sticks and ordered them to start. I'd never had them before, but they were excellent--5 of them served hot, stuffed with cheese, and covered in garlicky goodness! Then the pizza came. My daughter had never seen a pizza so thick and cheesy, since most of her life she's had only franchise chain pizzas. In her words, after the first bite, "This is the best pizza EVER!" The only knock on this pizza is it's expensive for a restaurant right across from my undergraduate Alma mater. At $20 for a medium, 6-cut pizza, it's no wonder why we ate a lot of cheap, chain store 'za when I was in college. Our bill with sodas came to $30, and that was with a side order of Bosco sticks for an additional $8. Still, the meal was super filling and I got to relive a little slice of my college life with my kid. That was priceless. read more

I stopped into Pizza Pub 516 with hopes that it would just be Myles Pizza. And I was pleasantly surprised that it's very, very close! The interior is the same as my beloved Myles. It's got that same cozy basement bar vibe I always loved about it. Plenty of seating, great selection of beer, and TVs to catch the game. We sat at the bar and waited for a takeaway order and the bartender/server was extremely efficient and lovely. We got the cheese bread and I said a silent prayer that it would live up to that of Myles. It is exactly the same. Best cheese bread in the world!!! We also got an extra cheese pizza, and I personally thought it was better than Myles! The sauce was so much better and the dough has that fluffy thickness but without that burnt edge Myles always got. I would recommend Pizza Pub to everyone who's looking for memories of Myles and to those new freshmen falcons looking to make their own memories. It will not disappoint! read more

Pizza's good, but a little pricey. Less stuff than Myles, but the sauce is very good. Great staff. Delivery is hit and miss time wise, but the delivery people are really friendly. If you want it within a certain time frame I'd recommend picking it up. All in all, a solid pie. read more

This location used to be a great pizza place. Not so much now. Pizza sauce is "meh," that is, not much flavor. Garlic bread was good but OMG $19.99 for a loaf!!! That's at least double the price it should be. Service was horrible, although we all know hiring staff is an issue. The real tell is that we went to BG to go to Campus Polleyes but there was a 40-minute wait to get in the door, so we went to Pizza Pub 516 and were the only people there!! We visit this pizza place in town often because the food, beer and service is GREAT! I can't think of one bad experience at this restaurant. I always go with the local beer selection - it's awesome and always features current local brew for the season. The pizza is loaded - a lot like Myles Pizza that was the previous owners. I think this pizza place in town has the best salads. The salad is huge and totally fresh! My husband and I split the Greek salad and sometimes have enough to take home. read more

Only Thing That holds this back from 5 stars is its not Myles. So my own Pettiness! But hey these guys are doing it right! They've kept the same Myles feel I grew up going to with my dad and that's awesome! The Pizza is still made in the same style as Myles was which is awesome. Sauce is the only thing different but its still really good. If you're a hard core Myles fan who's distraught over the departure of Myles, believe me I understand your pain. But don't fret and don't be bitter about 516. Give them a shot I'm sure you'll enjoy it! read more

Placed our order for a 12 inch pie, waited 45 minute, pie was cool in the center with raw doe and veggies. Sent it back for another 15-20 minutes, center was barely warm, doe and veggies still raw. Manager offered to take 50% off bill which meant we had to take it home to finish cooking it ourselves. I told him to take the whole pie off and keep the rest of the pie. Shouldn't be that difficult for a pizza place to cook a medium pizza. I guess the delivery orders have priority over the seated guests. Waitress did a good job....the cooks, not so much. read more

We ordered garlic breadsticks as our appetizer. Being that this is a pizza place I would expect decent breadsticks. They tasted like toasted hot dog buns with garlic butter brushed over the top. We ordered marinara sauce to go with them it was ice cold and came out in a clump when we dumped it out of the container. We also had barbecue wings and were charged for ranch dressing to go with them. For our pizzas we ordered 2 specialty pizzas. One was the Mediterranean. Because we requested it without onions, the server informed us that we would be charged separate for each individual item, that goes on the Mediterranean. However she said the price would be about the same. Needless to say a small, thin crust Mediterranean pizza that is normally $19 actually wound up to be $26.50. Did I say small pizza? It was a similar story for the other pizza because we didn't want green peppers and onions on the whole pizza. The taste on both pizzas was bland and greasy. We could have had a similar pizza from our freezer at home for much less. The chicken on the Mediterranean was rubbery like it came out of the microwave. Both came out with the edges black. We all decided we would not go back. We left with a full belly yet completely not satisfied from a flavor standpoint. Our bill was $86 NOT including beverages. As mentioned the only thing we had were 1 small pizza, 1 large pizza, breadsticks and wings. On a positive note, our server was pleasant and did a very nice job. read more

Worst pizza I've ever had:( We loved Myles, sadly this is not even a slight representation of the old pizza brand. The decor has not changed, the menu was slightly different, but the real slap in the face... Well, that came after ordering a pizza with pepperoni, (fresh) mushrooms and black olives. We were told "fresh" was the standard for their mushrooms, awesome!!! To bad their "fresh" meant frest out of a can. We got the pizza, it didn't look bad, took more than twenty minutes even though we were literally the only customers in the place, but we didn't mind the wait. However, after waiting that long, one would expect a pizza that tastes, at the very least, mediocre. Sadly, this was not the case in this instance. Our pizza was so black on the bottom, it was uneatable. It was the equivalent of toasting a slice to bread on the hottest setting thrice. I've since brushed my teeth and still taste burnt bread. I'm sorry to say this is not a great or even good pizza place. Go with pisanello's or campus pollyeyes. read more

I was a fan of Myle's for many years, and was sad to see it close. However, it seems that the new place has gotten the old recipe down pretty well, even without the secret sauce. It takes a little while to get the pizzas made, but my guess is that's because it is still just as thick as ever. Kudos to the new owners for keeping the tradition going! read more

Pizza Pub 516 is very similar to Myles Pizza and in my opinion much better. The service is terrific and the food is considerably more consistent than the old Myles Pizza. I can imagine people have a certain fondness for the old Myles for nostalgic reasons, but this is a better pie. read more

We really enjoy 516 in BG. I ordered a cauliflower crust with banana peppers and sausage. I've had the cauliflower crusts at The Village Idiot, Pizza Cat and PizzAroma. I've enjoyed all of those cauliflower crusted pizzas but I've found a favorite in the 516 cauliflower crust. We also ordered one of the specially pizza and the cheesy garlic bread. The bread is just amazing and I should never order it again cause I wanted to eat the whole thing! The pizza was delicious and they certainly don't skimp on toppings. My only disappointment was that there was no olive oil and vinegar dressing available for the salad. Other than that, it was near perfect. read more

This place is VERY similar to Myles. I found 2 differences - the sauce is less sweet and they no longer carry broccoli as a topping. The service is much nicer than previous which made up for the long wait. As this place is in their initial "growing pains" and keeping up with the masses cut them some slack on the lengthy wait (40 min for us) Bc it's worth it! read more

Ordered a pizza with mushrooms, got asked if I wanted fresh or canned. I picked fresh. When I received the pizza it had whole fresh mushrooms on it. I was not made aware that they do not slice their fresh mushrooms and I have never heard of a pizza place that puts whole mushrooms on their pizzas. When I called to question them about not properly informing their customers, they apologized but said it was what I ordered. Yeah, I wasn't informed properly and they didn't give a shit. I don't want an entire fucking mushrooms on my pizza. Will never do business with them again. read more

Looks like they cleaned up the place a bit. Bathrooms haven't been updated though. Sat at the bar so we could see them making the pizzas and noticed No one was wearing gloves. They were digging their hands deep into the big plastic container of cheese and putting the other ingredients on with no gloves. I thought anyone handling food was suppose to wear gloves. Guess not. Went to the new Pizza Pub 516 which soft opened today. It is the old Myles Pizza building and 95% remaining decor. The pizza was very good and amazingly similar/identical to Myles. Same high prices but same high quality. With the added benefit of someone actually washed down the inside and repainted fixtures and flooring. Very nice. Service new and so learning. Pizza guys the same ones I have seen in that small kitchen every other time under old ownership. No longer Myles: Pizza Pub 516 is the name. Perhaps Pizza Smyles is more like it. Everyone seemed very happy. And they reduced the draft beer price from the old lofty prices. read more
