I think all five in my party got the Beach *Something* (I forget the name). It was the top one on the menu - vanilla custard mixed with chocolate syrup, peanut butter, and Reese's peanut butter cup pieces. Nothing really revolutionary, a variation of that combination is probably available in every ice cream shop in the US. But it was so good! Creamy, rich and super smooth and consistent throughout. We all loved the custard. And equally important the staff that took care of us were super friendly and took the time to answer our questions and highlight some menu items for us. So I just went here a couple of days ago for the first time by default. I was actually going to go to another ice cream store ,however, it was closed so I searched on yelp my trusted source and came across this place and I'm so glad I did. When you arrive it has a nice area to sit and eat your custard with family or friends they have seats inside as well but I preferred sitting g outside. If your feeling lazy do t worry they have a drive thru for ya, I ordered the brownie sundae. It was to die for, the brownie was nice and warm. I didn't even have to ask them to warm it , it's something they just do! The vanilla custard was great. First time going and the first impression was not as good as I was hoping for. The garbage can right before you inside was so overflowing. It was all on the ground and employees knew since they would walk right past it to take people their order to the car. On top of that the banana split I order was ready but it had no banana after they made it then they tell me instead of telling me first to see if I wanted something. They were busy so I wasn't going to wait or have them waste it, but who orders a banana split without the banana. It's like ordering a cookies and cream without the cookies. The only reason I give it a 3 is because the kids liked theirs and the cashier guy was really nice and explained things being our first visit Updated from a 3 to 4 star on 8/22/20: thank you for making it right, lets call it a fluke for our first time because it was really good this time. I'm a Midwest transplant with a long history of frozen custard obsession. I grew up covering my fat, little face with Kopp's in Milwaukee. I've tried every custard in the greater Atlanta area. They have all disappointed until Whit's. I thought perhaps custard didn't work in this climate. Culver's in Newnan is tirble. Whit's is a dang good frozen custard and it's served it like they do back home - huge! A small is anything but. If they were on the square, there would be lines around the block. I wish they didn't have gummy worms on the menu but nobody is perfect. I highly recommend if you yearn for frozen custard. read more
