I've been using White Bear Cleaners for the last few years, mainly because of their convenient location. I was tired of ruining my nice clothes by trying to save a couple bucks and washing them myself. Also, there is absolutely no way I'm going to wash my nasty blood and saliva splattered white coats at home. And I'm pretty sure my half size washer dryer would break down if I wash my comforter at home. They do a pretty good job on my regular dry clean only clothes and my bedding. No complaints. No damage. No bad experiences. A little pricey, but they have a 24 hr drop off and they're literally across the street, directly across from the area I walk my dog. Super convenient and worth it. No use finding another cleaner that I'd have to drive to. I guess I'm a special client because unlike most of their clients, I do come in with blood stains on my white coats every time. However lately I've been noticing some of the little spots aren't taken out. If their work is spotless, I'd really have no complaints at all. I pointed out the spots last time... Hopefully, I won't have that problem anymore. Anyway, I do like White Bear's service. They're really nice and they all know me right away... I don't even have to include my contact info with my regular drop off because they know right away from the nasty ass bloody coats who the rest of the clothing belongs to. read more

My husband's North Face puffer vest had a tear on one of the pockets, so we took it to a dry cleaner for repair. They told us it couldn't be restored perfectly, but that attaching a patch would be the best option. They said if I brought in a patch, they would sew it on (with a repair fee, of course). However, when I picked it up today, I realized the entire pocket had been sewn shut, making it impossible to put a hand inside. When I asked about it, I was told, quite confidently, "This is the only way it can be done." If that was the case, shouldn't that have been explained beforehand? Was I asking for too much? It's a winter vest -- I never imagined the pocket would become completely unusable. read more

I came here to get 4 t-shirts and one pair of pants hemmed. The woman that originally helped me was very quick and nice. However, when I picked up my clothes, a man I'm guessing is the owner had the worst attitude towards me. My clothes came out to $93 and the sleeve on one of my shirts seemed damaged. The hems were also absolute booty (see pictures). I cannot believe I got scammed out of my mind. Im so f'ing angry. Guarantee I will not be back. Brought Pottery Barn drapes in for dry cleaning. They called 2 days later, saying that I was misquoted the price and that they would be $50/panel instead of $25 each. They laundered AND dry cleaned them, (despite my ask for DRY CLEAN ONLY and the tag which is still on) causing them to shrink several inches. I did not notice at pickup, but once I got them home and hung up it was of course very obvious. I called and spoke with the owner. He asked me to bring them back in so that he could stretch them. Sir--respectfully--there is no way you are going to be able to stretch them 11" back to 108" length. No offer for refund or replacement. In addition--there are spots on them which he said he could not be responsible for. I will not be returning. read more

This laundry is a total joke. I brought in my shirts clean and neat, and they gave them back to me stained and filthy, then had the nerve to blame me for it! When I tried to explain, the owner started yelling at ne, talking to me in the most disrespectful, aggressive way I've ever seen in a business. The Kim's do great work, taking care of everything from our woolen sweaters and jackets to our business suits, laundering, starching and ironing work shirts, and other attire. They're very patient and they're very nice. I have not used them for alterations, as I go to a tailor for that. But for cleaning, they've been great! read more

Been a long time customer took my Givenchy sweater there to get cleaned after getting makeup on it . When I picked up my items my sweater was ruined . I'm not sure what happened but the black from the writing is not on my white areas & my $1000 is ruined ! Came here for the first time to drop off a suede/leather jacket I thrifted and when I picked it up it looked great! Didn't smell as thrift store-y and they were speedy and stayed open past my work hours. took a bit longer than I wanted but I think it was because of the material of the jacket. Been an exceptional long time client of White Bear. My business attire is very high end and I spare no expense for clothing. I brought in 2 new shirts from Saks to be altered 8/27, along with 15+ garments to be cleaned. I am very familiar with this designer and have had White Bear do MANY alterations to ensure a fully tailored fit with the brand. I requested 4" total on 1 shirt, and an additional 2" from the other. When I tried the shirts on, I couldn't even button them. Went back and they measured, realized they WAY over tailored. More like 8" off one, 4" off the other... They said they would fix, which I knew they wouldn't. Picked up the shirts, and White Bear not only ruined the shirts, also sewed the arms, and removed the back cinch pleats to gain more material. The shirts are ruined. Rather than accept ANY responsibility, the onus was placed on me, for not having been measured...ironically, I've never had them measure before, and had the same alterations done on the same designer garments. Rather than accepting responsibility, and offering a credit, they chose to lose a well paying weekly client. I will be purchasing 2 identical shirts, one coming out of NY and heading to Fullerton court to file a small claims suit. It is evident they blew it and are taking no responsibility. I found them to be kind and helpful until I showed them the buttons on three of my dress shirts they melted off. He looked up my account and said I dropped it off a month ago and was combative and suggested I went somewhere else and it happened at another cleaner. I took my favorite pair of Hugo Boss blue dress pants here and they came back with bleach stains. I asked the manager Mr. Lee what happened and he said that I brought the pants in that way. I am appalled that Mr. Lee refused responsibility. I asked Mr. Lee if I had brought these pants in with bleach stains, why did he dry clean them anyway? I am now trying to get these pants dyed to their original color but it is difficult to find these services. Became a customer by referral. Price was t an issue as long as services are delivered as expected. Shirts, dress shirts, pants and shorts were my usual drop offs. Last 5 times I was very disappointed and dissatisfied with poor quality work were greasy stains from their machines were noticed on my shirts and shorts, broken buttons on my dress shirts and Melted tag on my Porsche shirt which is usually delicate material on the sleeve. I've been coming here forever, and they are the best. I always need to have my shirts cleaned and pressed and nobody does it as good as these guys. I also have them clean my comforters and other things that I need cleaned from time to time. I don't love the parking situation but they are so fast that it is almost never an issue. This was my first time going to a dry cleaning place, and I was pretty impressed with their work. I had one jacket with 2 brown stains inside before I went there, When I received it I got home and the brown stains were gone beautiful work. The other jacket was black and it looked liked It was new when it was done. Magnificent, just magnificent work. The price was average, not to expensive and not to low either.
