Great good slider foods. It's a hype place to get something small but pricy for its taste and size. But still good. Haven't had it in a long time. More options than before. Now they have fish sliders, chicken sliders and other stuff. Don't expect it to be anything fast and cheap. They do get a good mint if customers. They are always hiring. I loved getting the frozen sliders and this was my first time going to an actual White Castle. I love the design of the building. The bathroom was clean. The service was great. Employees were nice and the food came out fast. I order 3 double cheese sliders, cheese fries, and mozzarella sticks. The sliders were amazing, the fries didn't look very good, but they tasted great. The fries were fresh, crispy, and perfectly salted, and the mozzarella sticks were great too. It's hard to mess up mozzarella sticks. Would recommend, definitely will be coming back. read more

I love it! So unique are those little burgers with the holes in them that are steamed over finely chopped onions. Then they put the cheese and buns on top of those burgers and when they're ready they assemble the now sliders and add a pickle and put them in a box! I almost hesitate to give them three stars because it could easily be two. We went inside the dining area and it was filthy. Floors were really dirty and the tables just as much. The trash was overflowing to the point that garbage had to be stacked on top of the other garbage. The bathroom was also disgusting. I decided to go here as I hadn't been to a White Castle in years, first off the front door was locked with no sign indicating whether it was broken or not, not sure what was going on, and secondly, I wanted to get a bag of sliders and they have the 10 cheeseburgers for 7.99 right now but I didn't want cheese on em so I said can you leave the cheese off, obviously saving the store some time and money and giving me what I want too. I am retired from writing yelp reviews, but I went to this White Castle today, and their extraordinary service brings me out of retirement just for this one review so that I can properly recognize this restaurant - this White Castle sucks. I am visiting the area from out of town, so I sought out this White Castle since we do not have them in Texas. So I figured out where they were located and drove out of my way to visit, and was really excited while driving there from Milwaukee. However, I felt like Harold and Kumar since upon arrival, we walked in to order, and the worker, who was nice, informed us that the dining room was closed since they had just mopped the floor at 7:45 PM, and the floor was wet and thus posed a slip hazard, but he further informed us that the dining room would remain closed for the rest of the day despite the location not closing until 1:00 AM, so I left without ordering. I do not recommend this White Castle location. Peace out, back to being in retirement from yelp reviews. read more

This place has gone done hill. The lobby is dirty as is the lady's room. The condiments are empty. Many times, the lobby is closed due to staffing shortage. I do not like eating in my car. Flies all over the place. Staff on their cell phones. They could be emptying garbage, cleaning floors and tables. Stocking straws, napkins and condiments. I can't eat at these sorts of places (fast food) any more according to my cardiologist and gastroenterologist, so mostly I don't. My two favorite fast food chains have made it easier, Chik-fil-A's official homophobia, and White Castle's truly awful service. Most White Castle restaurants just wouldn't be in business if it weren't for marijuana and beer, because only people who are stoned out of their gourds will wait that long for inaccurately filled fast food orders. The Pristine Palace, the Ivory Icon, White Castle is widely known for slow, incompetent service. But this one isn't so bad. Don't get me wrong, the service is not fast, and not generally very precise, but for a White Castle, it's not bad. They call them sliders and who knows maybe they started the slider term. When I got the message that my bud was on his way to work late because of a personal thing and would be passing White Castle and did I want any, my response was f#%k yah. People either love or hate White Castle when you talk to them and I love White Castle because I grew up on White Castle and after a late night of drinking this was the place to go. The burgers are small and square. The beef is cooked on a bed of onions which gives them there great flavor. The bun is a nice soft steamed bun. They are simple with the regular having just onions, meat and pickles. I like the bacon cheese burger and the jalapeño cheese burger. When you bite into one you will notice how soft and moist the burger is. They all have that signature onion flavor as the base for all the burgers. Caution, if you don't like onions please don't eat at White Castle because the beef is cooked on onions. Overall I'm in the minority of people I asked who likes White Castle. My only problem is that Milwaukee Wi doesn't have one and Kenosha is somewhat far to drive for them, yah I'm a fan. read more

I don't get the White Castle attraction. I've stopped twice and each time the burgers have been mushy and tasteless. What's with the onions!? Couldn't even finish the burger. What can I say? White Castle is awesome! I was in Milwaukee for a weekend, and drive down to this location, since I am a known White Castle Junkie. There was almost no wait at the counter, and our burgers came up fresh, hot, and fast. The restaurant was clean and not crowded at all. The parking lot was not bad, but tough to get into from the main road. I was a little taken aback by some of the non-burger offerings (crab sandwiches?) but that had no effect on my crave satisfaction. The chicken is a bit rubbery and also not very flavorful. The service wasn't too bad but it was a little slow. However, the lady that took my order was very nice. We stopped to grab a bite to eat after doing some shopping and had to pull up to the second window to wait for our food. One of the staff members brought our food and I said, "oh we still need our drinks." I didn't realize it at the time but that staff member was hard of hearing, however another staff member came up and asked if we needed something else. I told him I mentioned to the previous guy we were waiting for our drinks. He said that the staff member was deaf and got him to come help us instead. He gave us our drinks and I just wanted to say thank you. I love that this place is inclusive with it's hiring practices and that the staff there was very pleasant and friendly to deal with. The place wasn't even busy at 6:00 PM on a Saturday; but my order took 13 minutes-- after I noticed that my food was sitting in the back for 5 minutes. I get my food, it's cold; and the girl argues with me that it wasn't sitting there that long. Manager hears all of this and doesn't even address it; just hides in the back. I literally had to go back in the drive thru wait another 30 minutes because they do not answer the phones. I was one of the first customers of the morning, staff extremely pleasant and friendly, but burgers were not that hot and fluffy. We were in Kenosha for Jelly Belly and it dawned on me we might be near White Castle. Sure enough with help of the GPS it was a short ride there. On their window they advertise 20 burgers for $10.00. I get to the window and the teen says it's internet only in an angsty tone. Wah wah. This was immediately off putting. I hate to say I'm a service snob, but I am. If someone has a bad mood vibe, it's instantly rubs off on me. I had to get the app and figure out how to order too? Almost too much work. I ended up deleting my order once. I think it actually took me 15 minutes to order. We made the teen come out and clean a table so we could sit down. Every single table had something on it. It would be a 15 minute wait. I ordered the burgers, large onion rings, and three sodas for us. We ended up eating at one of the tables and taking 10 of the burgers home.
