Look, Waterman's Warehouse had a lot working against it the night we visited. Triple-digit heat. An AC unit doing its best. The Cubs dropping 23 runs on the Padres. The Brewers tied in Cincinnati. The US men's national team handling Bosnia. Basically every screen in the place was must-watch TV and the bartender -- understandably distracted, perhaps -- decided that was the ideal moment to restock straws and cut fruit. We waited. In the heat. Our server was genuinely good when he materialized, which wasn't as often as we'd have liked. Food: the cheese curds earned their reputation. The Mekts burger was fine -- solid, no complaints. The Reuben rolls, however, arrived looking exactly like what they were: a Sysco product plated with minimal ceremony. Hard pass next time. As for the name -- if you're picturing a dock, pilings, maybe a gull or two -- walk outside and squint hard past the road and the rooftops. Big lake's out there somewhere. Technically. Maybe a 3.2 night in a 4.3 restaurant. I'd go back on a slow Tuesday in October. read more

Service: We decided to sit at the bar. There was four of us. Wonderful service, and very attentive Food: Lots of choices. Menu is huge!!It's a great place for a family. My friend ordered a waterfront chopped salad that came with chicken and bacon on it and both of the meats were forgotten. He did have to complain. They brought out the meat that was missing. Food was ok. Great portions. I got the 14oz ribeye which was cooked perfectly and had good flavor. I also got a side of the Thai fries. Fries were overcooked and there were so many toppings it was just overwhelming. My waitress was attentive and did good, and the atmosphere was super casual bar feel. Not on the waterfront - so a slight misnomer there Food was ordered and cheese curds came out quickly. Curds were good but you expect them to be good in Wisconsin Entrees were very slow coming out of kitchen One entree was waiting for pickup but noticed other two entrees were not forthcoming Had to ask about them and server went back to kitchen - these are just burgers ! Burgers came out dry and overdone when we specifically ordered pink ! My bread was burnt black - I just picked the meat out and ate it We went on a Thursday night , not busy Not worth the money. 5 people, Thursday night; seated right away. Ambiance was fine. The wait was so long (over an hour from order to getting our dinner). Then it clearly has been sitting under the warmer for some time and was dry, and the cheese on my kids pizza was a solid blob. The women's restroom was missing toilet paper, I alerted staff and we went later and it still was out. Not sure if this is a staffing issue or what, but won't be back. read more

6 of us stopped in for lunch. A few of the meals were put together well but a few of the dishes were sub par. I had a BLT with fries. The bacon was scarce and did t taste like it was made for my sandwich. Along with that my toast was cold and hard. Same with my fries. I wouldn't recommend that from the menu. Another had the Opa salad which had virtually no feta. It was like pepper flakes in size and very little. The greens looked good but that salad presentation isn't what one would expect when ordering. Service was fair at best. We've had better experiences here and were disappointed. read more

I recently enjoyed this restaurant. The restaurant is great. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. The service was great and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The food was fresh and you get a lot of food for the price. So makes the meal a great value. Which is important these days to have great quality for every penny you spend. Met some coworkers here after work for drinks and dinner. I ordered a peach cosmo and it hit! Next drink I had with the mango habanero mule and also was fantastic! I had the wedge salad with 4 ounces of salmon and it was done perfect! Love this place! Excellent drinks and excellent food! It was pretty loud in the bar area, but we also chose to sit in the bar area, so probably is expected. The service was OK. Could've been checked on a little more and maybe a little more friendly but it wasn't too big of a factor tonight. read more

I've stopped here on a couple of occasions and had really positive experiences every time. As you enter it definitely has pub/bar vibes. I would say the food is elevated pub fare. In short, it's delicious. It's a great midway spot to stop if you're traveling from Milwaukee to Chicago or vice versa. Their cocktails are decent and well made. Not amazing mixology or anything, but solid well made cocktails. I recently ordered the mediterranean quinoa salad, which was a fresh, tasty delight. I'm also a huge fan of their greek fries which come smothered in a thick tzatziki (definitely richer texture than most spots), sprinkled with feta, green onions, and kalamata olives. The fries are waffle, which hold up well to the abundant toppings. I would have a hard time not ordering this every time (at least for the table if not for my own meal). The service is fast and friendly. Get to it! read more

We took a day trip up to Kenosha to have lunch and check out some of the Smithsonian-affiliated museums on the lakefront. Waterfront was our lunch choice based on Yelp reviews, and being almost 3 p.m., we were able to order from the Happy Hour menu. Happy Hour is from 2:30 - 6 p.m.. We had the burgers, a mixed drink, and a couple of beers. Great prices, and I was happy to get some Spotted Cow lager, which is not available in Illinois. I did try a very nice lager from O'so Brewery in Plover Wi.. Never heard of them or that place/brewery before, and am glad to have been able to give their beer a try. Very nice!! If we sat outside, we could have had lake views, but it was hot!! We'll happily trade the lake views for some AC!! Service was great, and all in all, a nice place to have some chow and some libations! read more

Our group of five stopped here on a Saturday afternoon after the normal lunch hour. We were surprised at how crowded it was, but it turned out there was a graduation at the nearby college. After a short wait at a nice table outside, we were led to our table inside (if the wind wasn't off the lake we would have dined outside). Our server was very friendly and helped keep things moving along. I ordered their chicken wings with the sriracha honey sauce. They were very good and very meaty too. Everyone else at the table enjoyed what they had ordered. As it was my birthday, they also brought me a free dessert which was much appreciated. Prices were reasonable. On approach this place looks amazing from the outdoor seating to the entry. Upon entering the place is very welcoming as well as the host. We were sat in a nice window seat with great lighting . The menu is extensive and presents with many options to enjoy . I was town between the pasta and the black bean burger and our gracious host suggested the burger for me and ensured my husband the chicken parm sandwich was a hit . I had the spicy mule to drink and my husband had pineapple juice. This was a by chance lunch my wife picked out. Name a little deceptive. Not waterfront. Handicap parking good because not many people but when we left it was packed. I'm guessing the bar business is very good. We were seated upstairs. The service was very good however the food was mediocre. Not impressed at all. Luckily we were close to the Kenosha outlet mall. The day we went there were quite a few families coming in with their little league families. The design of the building managed to keep the Noise in. I will say this place is such a great value. We enjoyed finding a nice place to grab a quick bite. I will start by saying the service was incredible and quick. Our server brought our food out essentially right off the stove. My fiancé had the fish fry and it was so much food for a great price. I loved the loaded gator tots and they were extremely filling. Hot day stopped in for some food and drink. Waitress let our water and soda go empty and had to ask for refills everytime. Ordered eggrolls without 1000 island dressing and it came with dressing in them. Food came out and served by other staff. Waitress came by right when food came out and asked about things. Asked for drink refills. No further contact until the end of the meal. Mushroom and swiss burger was dry and bland. Other food was pretty good. Told waitress and she dismissed it and gave us the bill. Found out then that they charge 3% for using a card. Not posted in the menu or told about when being seated, but there is apparently a sign on the bar stating this. Decided to pay cash. $70.69 paid with $100 got $29 back. Finally had enough and talked to the manager. Apologized and that was it until we left and he caught us and gave us $20 off the next time we visit. Not sure we will be back. read more

The name is confusing. It's near Lake Michigan, but not on it so "waterfront" doesn't make sense. It's got a sports bar vibe and the waiters and waitresses have al been great. Came here for a quick bite between hockey games. It's a great location near the water, though it doesn't have waterfront views. Our family got some chicken sandwiches, the chorizo fries and a flat bread. We all devoured our meals. Pretty sure this would be a regular hang out if we lived here. It was quite warm and I'm not sure if the air conditioning wasn't working or it just wasn't strong enough. It wasn't completely uncomfortable, but it was noticeable. The ambience is really neat and this is super close to Simmons Island Beach. The booth seating was comfortable and this restaurant was, while modern/industrial still very kid friendly with a nice kids menu too. Now the food. While the portion sizes were large, and shareable, noting we ate was truly memorable or standout. The cheesecurds were good. The burger was good but lacked essentials (lettuce, tomato etc more flavor in the patties etc.) Pricey for very middle of the line food. Nonetheless, would still recommend more for the location, atmosphere, and they did bring food to us quickly!!! read more

This is a fun stop when we are in the Kenosha area! We stopped for lunch mid afternoon. We started with 2 appetizers, wings, and cheese curds. Both were very tasty. Our server was extremely attentive, refilling drinks as needed and checking our progress regularly. The pub has some very neat decor throughout. Our entrees were all good, with generous portions. We all needed takeout boxes! (Except my nephew, who ate the whole wing appetizer and the full slab of ribs with fries!)
