Super clean location, amazing service from the staff, and delicious White Castle that I haven't had in awhile since I live in South Florida. Big thank you to the manager for covering the difference on my meal

Whenever we are in the Midwest we always stop at least once for White Castle!! This White Castle is the cleanest I have ever seen and has great ventilation so you don't smell like sliders for the next 300 miles. Sliders were awesome of course - hot melty cheesy oniony bliss on a tender steamed bun. 5 Craveable stars!

    White Castle!

This review is going to be 100% biased on the grounds of childhood nostalgia, and that this White Castle was a random surprise while I was on an even more random trip to Indiana. Sorry, not Sorry. WHITE CASTLE! They don't have these in North Carolina where I am from, and this is the first I had eaten a fresh slider from one of them in probably a decade, or close to it. When I was a very young child, my dad would take me here and promise me I could have a slider for every year I was old. How convenient that we moved impossibly far from any trace of them the moment I turned 6, right? I am now 32. He will not honor that commitment any longer. These tasted just like I remember. Steamy, oniony, classic. No fries needed... just load me up on sliders. Could not be happier. They even had the stain glass bordered windows. For this location, I have no complaints. Laid back and kind people working the counter got me my order quickly with a smile. Haters gonna Hate. I love this place, and it gets my elite 5 stars pretty much by default.

Some worker parks right by the door. It's right near a regional office but.....

We used to say, "such a deal this White Castle, you'se can get 4 burgers for a buck that stay with you for four days..." Well, we meant the effects thereof but you catch my drift. Notice that the negative reviews are from people who tried White Castle for the first time, it's not for everybody. There's definitely an improved receptive sensibility if you first partake in the sorts of appetizer preferred by Harold and Kumar, or a night of drinking alcoholic beverages. These places would be out of business if it weren't for liquor and marijuana. Don't know why they aren't in California and Colorado. This one is very good, faster better service than the usual White Castle, much cleaner. In fact I wasn't sure I was in the right place, not a derelict on the premises. Someone who thinks he or she is really important parked right next to the structure in a big SUV, I presume a manager or district supervisor, but I found that to be rude on a cold arctic day. Good location for a road trip stop.

So basically they don't have anything but a burger

We sat at the bar because they were busy and we needed to rush to get to a movie on time. The bartender was very helpful and friendly and filled our orders quickly. It came with fries and I also got The cherry vanilla cream soda which was delicious. My husband got the burger called Dave's Way which has the toppings of Pepper jack cheese, white queso, hand-smashed avocado, pico de gallo, lettuce & chipotle ranch. and ordered the double. It took over an hour for a burger and two Philly cheesesteaks. My son didn't like the burger at all. The cheesesteaks were awful. A bunch of over cooked mushrooms and some cheese spooge and very little steak. What steak that was on the sandwich was over cooked ( actually burned). The hostess decided it was time to mop the floors even though there were still customers. Just an awful experience. Wish I could have the time back.

I stopped in for lunch and was served by Matthew, who was spot-on with his recommendations. When I asked for a cocktail suggestion, he recommended the Whiskey Dreams, and it did not disappoint. It was a well balanced cocktail featuring bourbon, elderflower, lavender, and orange curaçao. It was liquor forward with just the right touch of sweetness. For lunch, I ordered the steak sandwich with mashed potatoes. The sandwich was packed with flavor from the first bite. The bun was soft and buttery, the steak was juicy and tender, and the horseradish sauce tasted homemade. The cheese was perfectly melted, and it was served with fresh lettuce, tomato, and onion. If you're in Lebanon or just passing through, I highly recommend stopping here. Based on this meal, I'll definitely be back to try the prime rib.

Needless to say, our service was bad and I do not blame the waitress, who I do blame is the manager on duty. For the price of this place it is not worth it if you have a party bigger than 6-8 people. The bad thing is that the manager decided to make excuses when my wife reached out to them afterwards. If us moving the tables was a fire code violation, why not tell us this that and we would have not moved them to engage with everyone in the party.

The primary issue was our service. While she was friendly, decent windows of time seemed to pass between her visits. She also did not provide us with utensils/napkins, as my wife requested them from the bar after our meals arrived, nor plates for our shared appetizer items. The food was very good, for the most part, as we continue to enjoy their Baked White Bean Hummus ($14) and the Greek Goddess Salad ($17) is excellent. I also do like their Fries ($3.50), as they are seasoned well with a nice exterior crunch, although it seemed like we had been given the bottom of the basket as a good bit of our order was crumbs. Drinks were OK. My wife wishes they offered a dry cider option, but their A&E Fleeting Youth ($7) consistently tends to be the closest to that offering. While I realize it's summer, I prefer porters and stouts that are on the sweeter side as opposed to coffee-esque. But the only option was their Into the Void, which I thought leaned into a coffee flavor, so I chose their King of Troy ($6.50), which was a decent lager. So I continue at 4 stars, in hopes our next visit will have service with a bit more awareness, fries from the top of the basket, and some of their other beer options that hit the spot in the past.
