I just finished a mentoring session outdoors (brrr) for new soccer referees, and was looking for a quick bite to eat before I drove to the next location to actually ref games. This place was close, so it won. It's just south of I-80 on the east side, so you make two left turns, one on to 191st street, and then less than 100 feet, another left. The have a parking lot west of the restaurant. Slammed doesn't describe the situation - the food was not moving out fast, even though the grilles were full. From order to food was around 7 minutes. The standard White Castle hamburgers didn't even taste like White Castle hamburgers - and if you've had them, you know what I mean. They were served hot, with a pickle, and unlike the last time, the buns weren't dissolving. The fries were hot and fresh as well. What can I say? It's not that I don't like White Castle, but this place is 0 for 2 in my books. The drink machine (Coke products) worked well, and was fully stocked. read more

Usually pretty good... but could use better equipment/and or translation in communication. 1.I asked for a 5 piece cheesy ring (the new side they have).... And I got a 5 piece Mozzarella Stick- NO MARINARA SUACE OR ANYTHING. What.. am I supposed to eat jus cheese and batter without sauce? Wild... not even to say that's not my original order. Could've drove right back around and returned it:; good thing I like mozzarella sticks. That brings me to my second point... 2. Clearly stated RANCH SAUCE and was acknowledged... yet zero ranch sauce. Lemme jus eat my dry ass fries without sauce: like cmon y'all. It's all good though... good thing I have all sauces at home as well as other left overs that trump the White Castle. Just disappointed recently as I don't get what I ask for... you have a job; do it and accept such requests- very simple. Especially with sauces. It's not like the workers are "making" the sauces. I went today (July 18th) around 1:45 pm. The two women in the drive thru were some of the nicest workers I have ever seen- despite being very busy. They both were moving very quickly trying to keep up with everything going on- but did not sacrifice any service quality to do so. As well, it was probably the best food I've ever gotten from a White Castles. I really hope that those two are commended and taken care of well because they were two of the best workers I've ever seen. read more

I've visited this white castle a few times. Yelp must of deleted my review. Anyway this place is kind of hard to get too which is why I dislike coming here. The food is average. Drive thru moves slow staff is fairly nice. The manager Lori helped us out when we were having issues with our order so we appreciate her. Not a bad place to get food. Very disappointed with the customer service at this location. I stop here on Sunday nights once in awhile after playing hockey in Orland. Tonight was the second time they have failed to give me my complete order. This time I went back to get the missing food. The short heavy girl was rude and unapologetic. Not even an I sorry. So i recently had a stay at a hotel across the street and went out for drinks and what better for a late night snack.so i order a nmbr 1 which is four hamburgers fry and drink pay and get my food and realize i was givin and charged for cheese. Asked and was tld by the cashier i just assumed. Why!? Im like whatever just fix it. So i go back for breakfast and order a breakfast meal that comes with coffee and they upcharge me wo asking and hand me a coke cup. Coincidence? What is there to say about White Castle? You get tasty food and regret it later on. Okay so I trashed the horrible ghetto Nashville White Castle in a review so I should give credit where its due. This is the absolute cleanest White Castle I have ever eaten at. The people working here are nice and somewhat efficient. The food is good. Lately they've been expanding their menu to include offerings such as cranberry tater tots and exotic turkey sliders. Get the White Castles or cheeseburgers. Skip the fries as they are bland. Have a Coke. Enjoy. Be advised they are only open until midnight (rare for Whities). read more

Stopped at this location for the first time in years with my 6 year old because she wanted a chocolate shake (and cheese sticks and a cheeseburger) on a Sunday afternoon. Service was speedy and friendly in the drive thru. As always, all of the food was piping hot and fresh and the milkshake was super thick. It has been a long while since I have delved into one of these kingdoms and thought I would relive some older moments of mine. The sliders, they are always the go to and don't know what one would go there but for anything else. Quickly cooked thin, miniature burgers with cheese and bacon, served on a roll like bun is what I got. After I ordered, I sat down for ten seconds before having to stand up to go obtain my food. Fast, delicious, and good overall late night food. On a side note, the smoothie I got, which was just banana, because I'm weird like that, oddly enough tasted more like vanilla than banana. Interior of the restaurant was vast. The restrooms and dining area needed attention and to be cleaned. Service at the counter was fast and friendly. I tried the impossible slider which is plant-based. It certainly tasted like soy and was not a feasible replacement unless you are a vegetarian. The Belgian Waffle Slider was delicious. Great sweet waffles and the sausage was not too salty. Original slider with egg was also good. Chicken and waffles slider was so-so. The chicken lacked flavor and was chewy on parts. Very unclean was my only impression. Started out fine quick service when we walked in, but then when she gave me my drink cup, she picked it up and when she turned it over she touched the inside with the same fingers she's been handling money with all day and then to top it off she had super long finger nails and all I can imagine is a breeding ground for bacteria that just went half way into my cup. Yuck! Cleanliness is the most important thing for me when I get food from somewhere. That alone made me loose my appetite. So then to the bathrooms, trash over flowing, no toilet paper, and, something, was all over the floor, not sure what it was. Food was fine, we had several people order with us and so we had several mini burgers, one was missing that was on our receipt but nobody wanted to go back I inside so we just left. read more

I never eat fast food. I Went here bc I needed a quick bite after a long drive there for a short meeting & then turn around for a long drive home. I chose there bc they had vegetarian burger option. It wasn't super organized or clean there. The employees seemed confused. The veggie burger was okay but nothing amazing. I won't be back but it's not somewhere I'd typically choose to visit anyway so take that with a grain of salt. read more

For a fast food joint I don't think much more or better could be done. I went late, went drive thru and if was my first time. I got the cheeseburger sliders of course! Last minute stop here during our roadtrip.We didn't know they had one and my kids begged for us to go. So we came in and it was empty(was early morning). We decided on getting those shareable meals. I was going to go to Wendy's at 2 in the morning. But I wanted to see the drunks at WC. I get inside and the place seemed pretty normal. Maybe because I was the one who was fucked up? Went there on 1-17-2018 very slow slow service ordered 20 cheese burgers, 10 jalapeño burgers, and 3 plain burgers and 2 sacks of French fries got to family gathering and found 1 sack of onion rings that I didn't order and wouldn't you know it they screwed up and gave no French fries and we even went in to order wasn't the drive thru wait for 12 mins and they still gave poor service and rip us off no fries, hopefully they can replace my whole order by sending me a gift certificate for $40.00 read more

It was a fast food weekend and with White Castle on the rotation list of burger joints, we stopped and had the usual, sliders and onion rings. The taste for these little bundles of joy trace back years and years but the burgers never change their taste. If you can stand a lot of onions this is your place. I am just happy that both my hubby and I can enjoy then together, we both smell like onions after we eat. Yes, the buns can be soggy at times but that is due to the onion juice and the steamed burgers. If your stomach can stand these little guys, give then a try. The indoor and outdoor area were clean as was the drink station. Very friendly staff for sure. read more
