I was in the area for a meeting and decided just to check where the closest White Castle was...turns out it was a mile away. I knew the entire two-hour ride up where I was going right after the meeting! It did not disappoint! I got the 4 Slider Sack and decided to be extra complicated about it: one Cheese Slider, one Jalapeño Cheese Slider, one Bacon Cheese Slider, one Bacon Jalapeño Cheese Slider, and upgrade to Cheese Fries (I rarely am by a White Castle so, yes, I wanted the smorgasbord of sliders lol). They got everything right, AND the sliders were actually built neatly without the cheese half falling off, etc. (you all know that's a rare feat) The employees working were all very nice and attentive, taking care of customers as soon as they enter and even offering some suggestions to those that asked. IFKYK. This is a typical WC. You are not going to find them next to gucci stores hahaha!!!! My wife wanted some midnight sliders recently so I ran out and got them. These were the closest to the house. The DT was pretty busy, there was a decent line at like 11PM. The rest of the parking lot was pretty empty. The staff did a pretty good job of cleaning the parking lot as well. There was very little garbage! Service was pretty standard when it comes to WC. Employees are here for the paycheck hahaha. Nothing crazy good or bad! I got a crave case with cheese, some rings, some sticks, and fries. All super standard and taste the exact same no matter where you go to a WC. I also ordered a sweet tea! Overall, this is by far the worst White Castle customer service chain that I have ever experienced. I was doing DoorDash. They tell me at the drive-through to pull up to the other side and wait for my order and stay in my car that someone will bring it out to me but that wasn't true and then I have to get out because a very rude old lady comes out in a bad mood and grumpy with nothing but rudeness and attitude . I'm already 13 minutes late to my delivery time...she's disrespectful and put the food right back down telling me to get up and out of my car, super ignorant disrespectful and if she doesn't like her job, why is she there and if she can't deal with customer service why is she there if she doesn't have the patient why is she there if she doesn't know how to talk to customers why is she there? read more

This White Castle has been here for as long as I can remember. And for as long as I can remember it's been the same. Service is a bit slow but the food is cooked fresh. I've never had bad food experience from this location. I usually go for cheese burgers, chicken rings, mozzarella sticks, and their ghost chili burgers. So good! The only fault which is a big deal to me is the homeless people that hangout in the drive thru. Almost 9/10 times there's someone there asking you for something. What can I say? I wasn't expecting much from White Castle. Especially, at 8am. Since I'm from out of town, these sliders are a novelty. So I decided sliders would make a great breakfast. Haha! When I pulled into the drive thru, I could hear the employee talking. I thought it was to me, but turns out he was on the phone. After a few minutes waiting and me shouting "good morning!?!?" He tells the person on the phone "Let me call you back" I ordered and pulled around. They took my money lightning fast and then the wait began. After five minutes, an employee comes to the window and says we are making your food fresh. Uhhhhhhhh? So after 10 minutes I got my food and they threw in a couple of extra burgers for my trouble. Since it was my first time trying White Castle, I thought I might try a few things... so a couple sliders, fish sliders, fries, and some onion rings. Honestly, I have no idea why Harold & Kumar hyped this up for me. Both the beef and fish sliders tasted dull, the fries looked like the ones from the frozen aisle at Pathmark (Ortega or something?), and the onion rings weren't hot and had very little onion in them. 10 years later finally tried this place. Seen the movies, had the frozen meals, never the real thing. Weird thing, when I was eating it all I kept thinking was how gross, soggy, and cheap the burger was. Then I swear no more then a week later I had the strongest craving for it. The only exposure to White Castle that I've had is the series of movies and the not so great frozen food burgers. I think the closest one to me is in New Jersey so when my friend and I were on a road trip to PA, and we spotted one, well we had to stop. I feel very meh about the food. I was glad to try their various burgers. The prices seemed great. I can totally see how people pig out and buy 20 at a time. The actual burgers were not that great. The chicken one was pretty tasty, but it was similar to the processed stuff you get at any fast food restaurant. Not that I'm knocking it- I know it's an institution in parts of the country. This place scares the living day out of me, I went here as it was the closest White Castle to me since I've moved to jersey and omg what a place. I have 2 kids and we decided to go inside for lunch instead of taking it home through drive thru, the minute I got in there was a homeless crack head outside arguing with himself. Then inside is no different you've seen new jack city ? Well this is your place! The place was so ghetto that I was afraid to wait the line. But wait there is more ! On the soda machine I saw on the floor a big spill of fresh blood like someone got stabbed and was trying to get help as a bloody hand print was on the machine. Well just so you know this was around New Years time not Halloween lol. Next there was some guys who wanted to hurt the cashier talking about shanking them if there food wasn't made and talking about shanking random people if they had a problem. I couldn't wait inside with my wife and 2 kids it was way too dangerous we went to drive thru and never came back. During the day this is a pretty decent white castle, especially if you love having tons of gas in your system after you eat one tiny burger, let alone stuff your face with 10! At night time this place kind of sucks. If you go inside and order you get average service which if your going to white castle at night (11 pm-before breakfast) average is the most your should expect, it's white castle, not some fancy restaurant. But if you go through the drive thru, they have a tenancy to get your order wrong and not being able to hear you through the speaker. You have to repeat yourself and speak as though you're given a speech so they can understand you which is probably not the workers' fault but the crappy equipment. I got cheese fries once when I asked for 10 sliders, how does that happen? There also tends to be homeless people begging for money outside which I don't know what the store is supposed to do about it (should they do something about it, idk) but it's pretty annoying telling a homeless person you don't have change after they saw you just get change from paying for your order. The last time I ate from their was about a month ago and those sliders were disgusting; they tasted like cooked cardboard. I suppose it could be that I just haven't eaten white castle in forever so my taste buds have changed or more likely their burgers just tasted like crap. read more

Typical White Castle except for their staff. They are very friendly & made sure that my order with special requests was taken care of properly. After midnight they do seem to allow people inside to beg for money & do not escort them out. This is a little uncomfortable as well as makes a person not feel safe. This is the reason I give them 3 Stars. I feel safety is just as important as quality in food at a restaurant. Me an my family were looking for a place to eat in the middle of the night and we found white castle thinking it was a good choice because of all the reviews.
